Thiago I think was 21/22. I think you have to be under 21 when the qualification period starts.
Isn't the case that you're allowed three over 21 in the squad?
I'm not sure about that. I know in the Olympics, you can have three players over the age of 23. I think the under 21 Euros is solely for players under 21 when qualifying starts.
Ah! yeah. You're correct, just checked. The qualifications take place 2 years prior, so some players are 23 when it happens.

Weren't we in for him in the summer as like a back up if the Di maria deal didn't work out? Seem to remember that was the case. Think we could do better for what its worth, but he wouldn't hurt. A confident Nani would be the best case though for us.
