If the going rate for Pogba is 60m, and he would improve us, then so be it.

I don't really get the issue. We didn't give him the chances he wanted, at a time when he consider himself ready. He decided to make the move to Juve, and has improved massively in that time. He did nothing wrong really. We had plenty of chances to play him, whether it was from the start, or a sub, and we didn't

If he Van Gaal rated him as good enough he would've surely played him there already.

Not when he has to compete with Rooney and then Mata. Who knows? Maybe Giggs thinks he's a winger because of him playing 90% of his minutes as a winger last season? We don't know the exact reason.

If we buy him for 80m euros, he would have to become an absolutely fantastic footballer for us to be able to sell him at a profit.

The reality is that he would have to become an absolutely fantastic footballer for Real Madrid to be interested in signing him from us regardless. They are Harrods shoppers.

Honestly, because he is miles better and proven.
Isn't that the point of developing young players? To negate the need of constantly spending?

And no one can categorically say Januzaj doesn't have what it takes to reach De Bruyne's level given that he isn't a stand out elite superstar.

We are linked with too many players to believe any of the stories. De Gea's contract should be number 1 priority at the minute

Yup, although I have an increasing feeling that he's off to Real this summer. Heartbreaking

£60m deal for Pogba is money well spent, but imagine if we kept him? we could spend that extra £60m on strengthening, or better yet just give it to De Gea :(

This sounds ridiculously far fetched, complicated and unnecessary, but after last summer I wouldn't even be surprised. After all, Cavani's name has been linked with us for longer and more extensively than Falcao's.

It's in the past. No point looking back now. Let's bring him home!

Fletcher off to the Hammers on Loan for the season it seems.

I can only imagine we'd be getting some one in or Andreas will get more game time. Else a few injuries and we'd be screwed.

Except we can't do a swap deal because we don't own Falcao. Why would Monaco let us buy Falcao only to immediately sell him on to one of their rivals? Doesn't make sense.

Woody has probably paid them off too, just to show how strong we are financially....
