Carlos would be 2 pts, not that it changes the equation.
Better defensively, as Aldo suggests - worse offensively. I wouldn't say there's miles between 'em, though. I rate Lizarazu highly.
True - he has the same distribution as yours truly, actually. TP fullback, TP central midfielder and TP striker/attacker.
Amoros IS an upgrade on Reuter, though - in my book that's clear. But a 40m upgrade?
Just as a matter of interest, where do the likes of Evra and Abidal compare against Lizarazu and Amoros? And A. Cole.
My motive of getting him was mainly moving Bossis to the middle and having him by his side, a slight peek into that glorious France NT of the 80s.

I think Amoros is more like Boniek, skilled enough to be TP rated but a bit underrated most times he plays.
Lizarazu, I think is deservingly not TP rated and I think it depends on what you want from your full-backs. If you want a full-back who has a difficult role defensively then A.Cole would be a better option than Lizarazu. If you want a counter-attacking team with full-backs bombing in to space on the break then Reuter's unbeatable pace would be a huge bonus and I'd probably have him.
I'd have Briegel as better than Lizarazu for example, and Briegel is not TP rated either. Overall if I had to pick a non-tp full back and didn't know which system it was I'd have Briegel and Lizarazu as the top two though behind Amoros.

Very little in it for me. Comes down to personal preference really. Peak Evra was immense though, he has faded badly since the last World Cup.
True enough. I've a feeling his form in recent years will be overplayed in a setting like this one. It's far easier to focus on the prime incarnation of a player who has long since retired than that of a currently active one. Evra was pretty much the best LB in the world at one stage - that shouldn't be forgotten here.
I would say Evra was clearly the best LB at a stage. Absolute brilliant both offensively and defensively and rarely got beat, unlike now when even relegation side has wingers who can beat him.
So I've done a nice one bagging Evra for 10m if amaros as Lizarazu are going for nuts-oil-cash?!
