Transfer Deadline Day

Why does 'Arry keep signing and selling Peter Crouch at different clubs?

Also after Bentley apparently. Never played him at Spurs but he's ready to bring him in at QPR.

There is definitely nothing underhand about him signing players he's previously signed. Just wanted to make that absolutely clear, without any mention of brown envelopes changing hands

If Villa go down they won't be coming back up, I am surprised at how relaxed Lerner is at the moment.

You're spot on there i reckon. Lerner doesn't want/can't be arsed to put money in the club now. If they go down i can't see him changing and pumping a ton of money in to get them back up, they'll stay down if they do go.

Never heard of him, cocks in.

Will play a season or two in the reserves then get sold to Peterborough.

He was Young player of the year in France last season, and 2nd to Eden Hazard for the main award.

African player of the year too.

This whole cocks out, cocks in thing has me picturing a bunch of supportors standing outside their clubs grounds on transfer day, every time a car pulls up they whip their cocks out, only to shove them back in their pants when it turns out to be the tea lady getting dropped off.

Jack Butland has joined Stoke SSN! Will be loaned back to birmingham for the rest of the season.

African player of the year too.

Full international, 19 caps, can play anywhere, been used as a Libero, defensive midfielder, midfielder, playmaker, and a winger.

It was the classic #10/#9 partnership of Belhanda/Giroud that took tiny Montpellier to the Champions League - good player for sure and very technically gifted. Guarantee the muppets would like him for his playing style. Worth a youtube even.

With Kagawa and Rooney here already and Belhanda even less capable of playing out wide than either of the two there really isn't any room for him though. Then again I thought the same of Varane when we had Jones, Smalling and Evans but he's shown last night why we were interested in him. When a top talent turns up we're in the mix, we'll sort out where to fit them in later. Belhanda's certainly very promising though I don't think he's quite in that top bracket. Could see Arsenal going for him.

He'd fit a fluid 3 behind a front man in RVP though, which could be the direction we're looking to move in.

Does he have the same playing style like Gourcuff? For some reason, i seem to confuse this guy with another one call Valbuena or something like that

I've seen him play 3 or 4 times this season, and he was amazing in two of them, and pretty decent in the other ones, he has ridiculous balance for somebody his size, he has the tendency to run into trouble sometimes, but all young players do that, he's not afraid to take his man on at all, I do think we'd struggle to get him playing time, unless SAF see's him playing deeper, like he done in the past (I've never seen him play in a 2 man midfield, but he did play as a defensive midfielder quite extensively in the past.

Thank-you.

Certainly he's capable but I don't see us going completely without width under Sir Alex and he's just not the man to provide that. I think we'll still be looking to someone like Nani, Zaha, Hazard who are capable of playing right across the pitch but are still at home on the wing.

He's got a bit more pace and agility than Gourcuff had, in fact he's probably more similar to Valbuena in the sense that he does like to stretch his legs and take on a man. Gourcuff's the archetypal #10 who saunters about the pitch at his own pace whereas Belhanda likes to inject a bit of pace into the game with quick bursts. He's certainly got a bit of class and trickery on the ball though, much like Gourcuff.

He's not bad out wide either tbh. Have seen him play on the left on occasions and he can beat his man down the line too.

Liverpool have cancelled Doni's contract. He was a bit pointless there wasn't he?

I guess that RAWK thread titled 'Doni: Hands like Glue' will be locked then...

I don't think he's an attacking midfielder/winger, I think he's just an attacking midfielder.
