Transfer Deadline Day

Andros Townsend having a medical at QPR.

Levy is so gonna offload the dead wood to 'arry for good prices today.\

Jenas and Bentley next probably.

Paul Robinson to West Ham with Henderson the other way. It's going to be like an episode of Fat Friends at Upton Park.

Hasnt Jenas been injured for about 5 years?

No, just not very good and out of favour. Think he did get injured when he was on loan at Villa, though.

Was on loan at Forest this season and could barely get a game in the Championship. Faurlin is a better player, so this makes little sense. Guess 'Arry likes who he likes. He has always been known for being extremely biased towards his 'favourites' and leaving players to rot in the reserves.

As some wag remarked on Twitter - "It's transfer deadline day, or as it's known to Arsenal fans, Thursday."

Faurlin doesn't strike me as a player for a relegation scrap. He doesn't look to have much heart.

Don't think Spurs see him as "dead wood": if the deal happens it will only be a loan.

I find it a somewhat odd decision by AVB. Yes, the player will have more chance to gain Prem experience at QPR, but if either Lennon or Bale get injured for a longish time then Townsend's the only other pacy winger we have.

Townsend turns up for a medical but is told the deal is off.

Berlusconi's approval rating has gone up 2% after signing Balotelli.

Stoke make a bid for Butland but Begovic staying. Maybe a summer move for Begovic if they sign Butland?

"The Swansea striker, a Newcastle fan, is close to sealing a switch to the Stadium of Light having fallen out of favour in Wales.

But an interview he gave while he was still a Watford player has surfaced in which Graham is asked who he would support if his beloved Newcastle United ceased to exist.

He responded: “Put it this way. I would stay as far away from Sunderland as I could.

“It would probably have to be Gateshead.”

That leaves Swansea a bit short up front surely? Shecter and Moore the only strikers, and Michu too I suppose. If they start Michu, the other two are hardly big game changers that can grab a goal.

They want Man Utd from Spain or Kenwyne Jones apparently.

I bet he's looking forward to meeting the Sunderland fans.

Yeah, they aren't that happy.

Btw, these Milan fans really rate Balotelli, don't they ?

That's because they're idiots, the way they treat people because of their skin is apalling. He got a lot of stick when he was in Italy first time around.

I meant they seem very happy with signing him. Too happy infact.

that really doesn't have anything to do with what he said to be honest.
and yeah, Italy isn't the best place for black footballers to play, but it's not a bad thing in Milan, there are several black players there already and they haven't been treated badly at all. It's other (mostly smaller) clubs that have these sets of fans that are douchebags.

Seriously, what the feck does Harry be doing driving around in that car? How can someone possibly spend a day driving around?
