He's even getting a hint of blondness back.

Does this mean he'll be good again.

Chelsea TV have a live special on, if anybody is interested and has access to it.

Whilst im aware that we were never likely to buy big this transfer window or even get involved at all (which turned out to be the case)... I cant deny the inner muppet is feeling a little disappointed in all this.... if Liverpool can afford to spend £35m on Andy fecking Carroll then I am sure we could stand to be a little more liberal with the old "Ronaldo Money" and so forth...

Harry Redknapp saying Spurs agreed a deal with Blackpool for Adam but administration problems prevented the deal going through.

Yeah, we could have bid 50 million for Joey Barton, chance wasted :(

Then again, we'd probably have had to have offered 60 or 70 million to get such quality.

Torres: “A big step forward in my career. One of the top level clubs in the world.”

hehe, he's gone up SLIGHTLY in my estimation with that cheeky dig.

I asked this before, partly in jest, but of everyone that's moved, who would you have at United for the price paid?

You could make a case for Suarez but we don't really need new strikers. We need wingers/creative midfielders.

If I'd had to have matched any of today's bids it would have been the (albeit rejected) 10 million bid for N'Zogbia. That'd have been at a push as well.

Not really no, anyways as long as fergie is true to his word and is prepared to spend big when giggs and scholes retire, I don't think anyone will have any complaints.

To be fair, I cannot really recall many occasions where you have came in and bought ready made players on big fees.

It's not unheard of either, the fees been thrown around today have been mental. I'm just glad we didn't get involved and have bided our time till the summer. I can't see Chelsea or Liverpool throwing around extravagant fees in the summer.

thank god we have Sir Alex ferguson as a manager, he´s down to earth theese days when it comes to transfers !

guess if the special one was in charge we would be spending 100mp in this window !

I'm not sure we need any with Welbeck and Cleverley coming back as well.

As usuall, Liverpool sign and sell for about the same.

Babel and Torres out. £57m
Suarez and Carroll in. £52m

Kalou, Kezman, Kuyt... Suarez will be the next big flop from the dutch league?

Kewell, Smicer.. number seven at Liverpool rarely become a hit.

best case scenario they are as good as they were ahead of the window, worst case, Suarez flops and they are awful.
