Transfer deadline day

Wow Chelsea are taking a huge gamble on Torres. He has not been on top of his game for the past two seasons and 50m is an awful lot for any player let alone Torres. He has been injury plagued the last two years and is the Premier's League new Mr. Glass. If he runs a LITTLE fast, he pulls his hamstring.

Beats warming a bench. And City will not sell to any rivals

His situation should be a warning to all players going to City who think they can take the money and move on if it isn't working. City will happily allow a half dozen good players sit in the stands every week, regardless of financial losses.

Am i the only one that finds this whole circus vulgar?

the whole money-fuelled frenzy reflects badly on the game imo

Nope. Just when you think transfer fees can't go more insane. Sure, I've enjoyed the merry-go-round but it only furthers my general apathy.

Watch Torres is not going to pass his medical at Chelsea. That would be funny because then Liverpool are fecked as they can't come up with the 35m for Carroll.

I've been away for a few days, and Chelsea, having fallen ten points off the pace, have decided to spend 80 million quid. All those people who said there's nothing wrong with moneybags owners flooding into the game can kindly feck off now please.

Sure, we'll be fine, we're a much better team than either City or Chelsea, but if I was a Spurs fan I'd be tempted to pack it in, because really, what's the point?

Forest have completed the signing of USA international Robbie Findley.

That's like signing a chair.

At least City spent 80m signing 5-6 players. Chelsea have splashed that amount of cash on only two players. Neither of whom they can guarantee to turn out good for them.

Heard a moment ago that Eiður was going nowhere but now I hear he's on is way to Fulham. Source is reliable.

This was already discussed a couple of pages ago. He is going to Fulham on loan from Stoke. I forgot he was playing the PL. Was he injured or was Stoke just not playing him?

Leicester sign Ricardo (ex Portugal & Sporting keeper)

Good signing for them

I've seen chairs with better first touches.

Didn't he start for the States in the WC? He was alright but again who else can you expect Forest to sign?

He was shit, he always has been shit, and he always will be shit. He started for us in the WC because Bob Bradley has the tactical brilliance of a piece of cheese.

BREAKING: Liverpool confirm signing of Suarez on 5 1/2 year deal

Yeah so much for his comments towards the end of last year, when he was saying he would leave Ajax only for United or Barca and he will only move to a club where 'real football' is played. You can rot in Liverpool.
