There's a meeting of PL club shareholders in a week's time where they'll vote on potential changes to the transfer window - including whether to close the summer one before the opening PL fixtures in mid-August. Needs approval from a minimum of 14/20 clubs, but articles a couple of weeks ago indicated there was broad support for it. Could fundamentally change the way clubs approach the window.
Think that would be a good idea. Must be frustrating for a manager to plan for a season when some greedy agent plots a last minute transfer request.
I've never been happier to see the end of the transfer window. Now it's just a week of fecking internationals.

Lemar has played a blinder for us so far.

Channel peaked around 2009 and hasn't recovered since. Nobody watches Soccer Saturday anymore either. It was a huge deal at one point in time (or maybe that's just true when you're at uni).
