Television Top Gear

His music is depressing and he has a very average singing voice yet he's jizzed over constantly.

He seems an okay guy and I applaud anyone who isn't the product of a reality TV show but he isn't for me.

And still they were talking it down, when the only thing quicker than it was a million pound Huayra, and two purposely built track-day cars. It looks as evil as any other Lambo ever, and it's well engineered. But they wanted machine guns sticking out, rocket launchers and flame throwers. The lunacy of the old Lambos is missing, apparently.

It's even worse than those 911 fanboys whining about the electric power steering of the new 911s.

Maybe these new batch of cars will all be pulling out lap times like the Lambo. Don't know how they're able to cut so many seconds off though, compared to say a Gallardo LP560 or Murcielago LP640. Doesn't seem possible.

"Oh I was homeless and I came from nothing"

His parents are millionaires and his brother is a classical music composer in England....

As I said, a fraud

Really?

He did come across as being well off when he interviewed, he gave the story of how he used to "slum" it when he was a student. All the while his parents are loaded if so the guy has gone well down in my estimations

It's true....Google it if you wish. His parents and brother are well known in the arts and culture scene around Britain.
His Father is an art consultant and a lecturer, who ran an art consultancy firm.
His mother was a culture publicist and jewellry designer
His brother is a classical composer, who has gone to the top schools in the UK for music.

Came from nothing, slummed it and was homeless he says.....And people lap this shit up?!

A lying ballbag!
He's a pleb, who writes bland music to appeal to little girls

he said there was just some nights where he didn't have a place to stay and not that he was 'homeless'.

I'm not on about Top Gear.
I'm on about previously, where he was saying he wrote about being homeless and everyone was like "Awhhhh poor Ed. Such an inspiration."

Sickening some the shit these celebs get away with

Pretty sure the first thing he spoke about in his interview was how all that rags to riches stuff is massively exaggerated.

Anyway, tonight's episode appears to be a road trip across Australia. Not sure why they didn't save that for an Australian special.

The specials are too long and drawn out imo, which make them quite boring. I love when they do road trips in nice cars and its condensed in to one episode.

They're driving the BMW M6 across Australia, not sure who's driving it.

I hear they are racing Ed Sheeran who will be using public transport and sleeping rough.

I did enjoy last weeks episode, looking forward to this one too, Sunday nights are trash for stuff to watch.

That drag race was interesting, all three cars had the lead at one point. Think the GT-R would win if they were all driven by the same driver.

He went out of his way to say he wasn't homeless and never had been. He made a point of saying it only happened once or twice. He didn't say he came from nothing...he said in the music scene, he started at the bottom...big difference.
If you don't like the lad, fair enough, he's not my cup of tea either but why'd you have to make up blatant lies?

Also what has his parents being well off got to do with anything...are you tying to suggest people with rich parents can't get it rough?

It was a good episode until the cow herding bit. Thought that was ridiculous.

Apart from that it was fantastic; great cars, lots of funny moments, cool guest and beautiful scenery.

Ehhhh blatant lies?! Can you not read no?!

I've already said it was NOT the Top Gear interview I was referring to, but previous soundbytes from him, he had said previously on Irish radio. If he set the record straight on Top Gear then fine.

So you're telling me parents, who are loaded, would see their own son sleep rough and not give him financial backing?!

I've said my piece on the tosser, it's not blatant lies and I'm going back to talking about Top Gear here. When the Ed Sheeran thread is bumped or even made, I'll head in there.

If it's not about Top Gear, why are you banging on about it in here?

I saw a lot of sand and not much grass, do they provide feed and supplements?
You saw a few minutes of their land, mainly where they are herded. Like they said many times, the size of the land is 3.2 million Ha. Plenty of grass there. Less during dry spells but that's why they have different coping mechanisms. You might have noticed the fatty hump they had. UK cows don't need it.

@Snow - Nice to see another agricultural Man Utd fan knocking around.

@.Rossi - I can't remember the name of that TV Talent show yourself and your buddies were on a few years ago or had a crack at but it's not Ed Sheerans fault things didn't work out for ye and he's so talented. There's no need to hate the man.

That's a bit below the belt....Especially saying that to some fella you don't even know.
Not that it's any of your business but, I love my music and am very passionate about it. I don't like his!

@.Rossi

From the beginning, I knew that his parents where "famous" artists, it has never been a secret.
Maybe some teenagers created an alternative world where their 'hero' was supposed to be homeless but here in France, he has never been sold like that. His parents are amongst the most valued artists.

Must be just in Ireland....Any female fan I know of him refuses to believe it and that he's a rags to riches story.

It's odd to....I don't think even think he's that good. George Ezra is better me thinks.

But anyways, Top Gear thread. Not talking about him no more in here
