Fixtures for top 6 over the next five games. Shame Everton are in such bad form.
Chelsea will probably get 3 wins from that. Can see them dropping points to Palace (as they are on a really long run of wins and that's a potential slip up game, even though they've been bad). Plus the tottenham game being away. My guess is they get 10-11 points from the 5, so 47-48 points.
Arsenal can easily feck up their next 2 away games, and if that happens, then they might easily go on a slump. I would guess they'll get 8 or 9 points though from that. 42 or 43 points.
Liverpool will probably bounce back against Boro, but have 2 very tough games with everton away and city at home. My guess is anywhere from 10-13 points. So 41-44 points.
City have 3 easy wins, 2 tough games. 10 points is my guess. 40 points.
Spurs with 2 easy wins, 2 tough away games, then chelsea at home. Probably they'll win/lose/draw one of each the away games plus the chelsea game. So that's 10 points, 37 total.
United have 3 possibly tricky away games. Home games should be easy. Can see us dropping in one of them, but with us possibly about to go on a good run, I would guess that we'll draw against West Ham but beat palace and brom. 13 points is what I'm guessing from this block of 5. 37 total.
Right after the international break though, Chelsea go away to leicester, City go away to Everton, Arsenal are away to swansea (should be a win but you never know), while we play home against Liverpool. Spurs the only ones with an easyish game, home to west brom. So if we beat Liverpool, plus the above guesses are relatively accurate, we could if things go our way go level on points with City, everton, and be within a couple points of liverpool/arsenal. It's only really chelsea who are looking very hard to stop.
Anyway, I don't think we'll end in the top 4. We need to go on a nice long run of wins which I'm not sure we can do, and even if we do, we have to keep title challenge form in the second half of the season, where we'll have latter stages of Europa league plus other cups to deal with. So while we might claw the gap down over the next 2 months, it'll open up a bit again after that. There is no chance of the title, very slim chance for top 4, considering Arsenal are more resilient this season, whlie Liverpool and Chelsea only have the league to deal with so they will be consistent, while Man City will have enough to finish ahead of us. As long as we finish ahead of Spurs I'll be happy enough, with the cups being more important.
