Nearly 100 pages... if shit doesn't go down I'll personally fire Woodward. My inner muppet cannot handle this again!

Another thing that makes me laugh, Carrington is fecking closed! Van Gaal is training Holland, Woodward does a lot of his business in his own office in Manchester or London. Yet people still mop this shit up!

That's what they want you to believe, but actually there's an underground bunker with tunnel.

Actually Carrington is a village. He could just be going to speak to the vicar for an advance copy of the parish newsletter. #itk #sundayhymnsheet

Don't mock him - that Jesse Jones Kagawa disguise was a bugger to pull off convincingly.

I love how twitter users have this assumption that they are somehow more evolved beings than facebook users- it's a cess pool of complete pillocks. How any of these fake agent accounts garner any attention is beyond me. Human being's really have not evolved at all.

It wasn't Sascha Breese with SAF.

Remember when Ferguson was supposedly sitting next to Sascha Breese at Old Trafford a couple of weeks ago? I also remember a lot of people telling me that bald dude wasn't the same guy Moyes was talking with in januari at a Bayern game.

I wasn't convinced, since it really looked like Breese/the dude Moyes was talking with, but I know too little of the man. And now somehow I convinced myself it really was Sascha Breese talking with Ferguson, and I hope we have a very good chance signing Kroos.

I don't think we're signing Kroos, as he is definitely not a Carrington. Vidal and Fabregas say they haven't seen him there at any point today.

Ah well, maybe next year...

I'm cautiously optimistic that Kroos and Shaw will be United players. Just waiting for the official club announcement: "The club is delighted to announce the agreement of Toni Kroos and Luke Shaw as Manchester United players. The players will join after the 2014 World Cup and subsequent medicals have taken place. No further announcement will be made until then." Hopefully we wrap this up before the World Cup starts, I don't want this to drag on especially if both players put on great performances for Germany and England.

How is it a fair price if a top 5 club in Europe in terms of revenue can't pay it without destroying their wage structure?

Because Bayern have the unique situation that none of their players so far really went for the market value. Müller is being paid about 120k per week, when he could've easily made 180k+ in the open market. You can't expect every player to take a loyality discount. Also it's not like Bayern can't afford it, they simply don't want to afford it. Schweinsteiger is on 10m€, which I think would Kroos sign in a heart beat. If they don't want him to be one of their key players, I think it's a fair decision to leave for a club where he is valued, in both ways.

There's no way we'd get him to £20m. Bayern would have to be bonkers.
Hard to know. I would have thought Bayern hold a very strong position on this but if Kroos is determined to join United then maybe its sell for 20 million or lose him for nothing next year. Pep probably wont give him a whole lot of game time (barring injury) if he's not part of his long term plans so why not cash in on him.

£20 millions sounds ridiculous but he does only have year left on his contract right? Perhaps Bayern were just bluffing when they said they would just let him run down his contract. Maybe they've decided some money is better than nothing? Seems like the Bayern hierarchy are now resigned to him going so it's starting to look like there may actually be something in these stories. Kroos

I feel like they are trying to call his bluff. He won't accept their terms and so they've said ok you decide now then.

That would be quite plausible. If he is using United as a bargaining tool then Bayern are well stocked to call his bluff and maybe get him to sign on for a lot less than he's worth.

Oh I just dont know anymore!

The Daily Mail are setting themselves up for one almighty epic fail with this.....i still do not believe he will sign.

Interesting read, talks as if it's all done and dusted.

For articles like this The Mail should publicly apolgise if it doesn't go through.

I tend to think it's bollocks, if it's that far down the line the Beeb or Sky would surely be running with it...?

Jamie Jackson is the one who said Southampton rejected or bid for Shaw and the next day wrote an article about the prospect of the deal as if he never said it

The Daily Mail should apologise because they wrote a story that some fans choose to believe it?

Get a grip.

Jamie Jackson or not, he's probably the most high profile journo to comment on this today. Bad signs if that's true.
