It is a little bit hard to do so when almost every team are sitting back and not wanting to play football against you. When they have done, he has. Arsenal first leg and Madrid a few years back are examples of this. Most will probably disagree but he seems to just lack that special something for me. I definitely don't think he's as good as Scholes, not yet anyway. Doesn't really run the midfield or dictate games.

I think that may be a bit more to do with the philosophy Pep likes to instill into the squad. I mean, he's certainly capable of those sort of defense splitting passes - again I go back to the Arsenal game - but Pep's whole mantra of controlling possession castrates the abilites of almost everyone. I believe the whole idea is 'if we have the ball, we have possession. If we have possession, the opponents cannot create chances' but Madrid did exactly that. Bayern look far too lax and a lot less dynamic than they did earlier in the tournament, and it really seems one dimensional, nobody benefits from it, and it made everyone look pretty eh' last night, Kroos included. We've had to put up with that a lot over the years but still the likes of Scholes thrived. I noticed a few times tonight that he ignored the potential ball over the top to Robben, instead knocking it to the guy Real left free out wide before apologising to Robben. It's just things like that and it's part if the reason Bayern look so boring.

He won't sign , then you'll be Kroos.Looked class tonight, his cross field balls are second to none and his energy in the middle is fantastic.
Woodward was at the game KroOn
I don't think Pep used him well tonight, or against us. Playing him too deep. With Lahm and Schweinsteiger partnering him in midfield, you'd assume he'd be in the most advanced position, but it was the complete opposite. He's the most penetrative of the three. Needs to be further up the pitch where he can afflict some damage on the opposition.
Fantastic player, but definitely not on Scholes level yet.
Ferguson was sat next to the agent for Toni Kroos / Marco Reus at today's game. Does this mean we can jump to the conclusion that "it's on"?

It wasn't him. He was bald, but not the same bald-headed agent.
Didn't somebody on here (one of the German fans) say that Breese was at the Leverkusen game?Sure it wasn't him? Saw the shot of Ferguson and the guy looked familiar but I can't tell for sure who it was so I believe you, any idea who that was then?

Yes.
That's a different bloke you can tell by the ears.
LvG's no.1 transfer target according to the papers tomorrow. Then Strootman.
His hairline looks the same tooTo me his left ear seems pretty much the same as the right on the picture beneath that, so not sure why you are saying that?
Would make sense. Like I said, I put my money on that being Sascha Breese with Sir Alex Ferguson last night at Old Trafford.

They do look quite similar.
Sascha Breese
It does. And his eyebrows. Surprised people aren't as curious as I am. Because him sitting next to Ferguson means a lot. He is the manager of Kroos, but also Reus's, I don't think we are buying both, but if that is truly Breese with Sir Alex, then we are in the final stages of signing one of them.
