This is painful. Would be the perfect signing, but we've been here before, and we had CL football then. Would be one hell of a coup if Moyes could pull it off.
You guys really think he would leave Guardiola to join.......... David Moyes?

Leave his apparent £75k pay packet for a £200k+ one?
It seems so... Considering Bayern's higher ups have come out numerous times and said he's demanding to much money.
He may have been flirting with United in order to get a better deal - but if United have offered him a massive pay rise, much more so than Bayern would ever offer, then that changes things. If offered £200k a week he would need to seriously consider his options.
United will pay more than other clubs in terms of wages if they're not in the CL, and he might been keen to take advantage of that. He clearly feels he's undervalued at Bayern and the fact that his agent is Goetze's agent, and well aware of what he's on wont help.
Exactly... it would be like saying someone like Mata would leave Mourinho for Moyes.
If only there was more to it.
Although, given how perfect a signing he would be, it is best to probably be a pessimist about this one there is a genuine chance he could leave.
As well as only being offered terms way below what he would expect (been on same deal for last four years and not expecting to even become one of top earners at club) this situation is further complicated by egos.
Some at Bayern (including Rumenigge) taken their stance and not keen to concede ground.
Obviously, if he does decide to leave won't be a free run at him.
BBC are becoming more and more muppet friendly as the years go by.
Exactly - sunny madrid playing alongside modric coached by anchelotti playing in the cl
or rainy manchester trying to play alongside cleverly / fellaini coached by moyes playing in the uefa... even if he did fancy rainy manchester playing alongside toure in the cl may well be more tempting.
Great player and I would love it to happen but I cant why he would pick us - even if we offered tons of money so would city, psg and possibly chelsea as well as he would be great for all of them - infact except barca and bayern I think he would be pretty much guaranteed a starting role whenever he is fit
Who knows, Tony may actually love rain more than the sun![]()
He's a pasty German not a bronzed latino. I doubt sun is high on his agenda.

It's fecking lovely weather here in Manchester today, so there!
Of all the reasons a player could choose or refuse to play for a team, why do some people give weather so much importance ? I know there are people who are dead serious about it.
Ronaldo. And I'm fairly sure it rains as much, if not more, in Munich as it does in Manchester.
As in Cristiano ? You're not serious are you ?
It's after Ronaldo's desire to move to sunny Spain that I have started to hear more and more about people talking about the Manchester weather. Hardly heard it before that.
I think you're right. I just googled for climate charts for Munich and Manchester:Ronaldo. And I'm fairly sure it rains as much, if not more, in Munich as it does in Manchester.

We have more rain, the winter is colder. Pretty sure Munich is way more beautiful though.
He does not come from Munich but from near the Baltic sea and near the Polish border. Greifswald. The temperature there is different to that in Munich...
Yeah, supporters don't really realize that its the players' life after all, and the place he lives in matters quite a bit. It's not all about the football or the paycheck for some of them, some want to have their families settled in a nice area (not saying Manchester isn't nice of course, but its all down to personal preference).Honestly I always thought this as well.
Then I went to Spain last September for the first time in my life, for a week, and realised what I had been missing.
Money can buy you a shitload of things, but it cant buy you a different climate. If it wasnt for the fact that their economy is as bad as my Spanish I would move out there in a second.
Not that I think this would be an important factor in us signing, or not signing, Kroos.
Suppose this is our home for the long summer months then. I fear he's using us to multiply his wages at Bayern, like many of you. But I'm still confident we'll deliver top quality signings this summer.
Well it's time we moved on from our over-reliance on Carrick anyway. We shouldn't be looking at players who can play with him but who to build our future midfield on.I think he'll stay at Bayern. If he does decide to leave then every big club will get involved.
Serious question though, is he a better option than the likes of Gundogan/Koke etc? I know he's very good technically, though I've never rated him as highly as some on here. It's just the other side of the game that I'm wondering about. I've spoke with people that watch Bayern quite a bit and they seem to think he's not really that great defensively. He probably gets away with that in Bayerns system, but how would it pan out if he was only in there with Carrick?
Carrick shouldn't be starting for us so its not really an issue. He's like the replacement for Scholes basically, and a damn good one at that. We'll need to buy a defensive midfielder next to him regardless, and we seem like we will with Carvalho, so it'll work out.I think he'll stay at Bayern.
