The thought of them two in the same team for the next 10+ years is mouthwatering. The fact they have played together for 10 years already shows in their pass and move.

Theres that vid online from England u21s I think when they just do one twos and then score. Cracking stuff to watch.

In fairness there were times they did it earlier in the season before Cleverley was injured.

fecking annoying as shit.

Indeed, I highlighted it as being the key to breaking down teams that sit back against us. Rather than that floated ball to the first central defender that Giggs plays 8/10 times, the pass and move stretches them and is very difficult to defend. It also draws a man in which gives us space out wide.

Can't wait to see him match fit and firing.

It's been said a thousand times before; his pass and move game is pretty good, and one of the big reasons behind our earlier performance in the league. He doesn't do anything fancy, just moves the ball quickly. And it's very effective when there are teams that pressing us.

Hoping to see him play again soon. hopefully against Ajax next week.

Good to have him back .Just hope the expectations on here are not to high. But i doubt it.

Well, in some way he has SAF to blame, when he said he was the probably the best midfielder in Britain

I just like the way he is able to completely transform the way we play, not many players in our team who have that effect

Fergie's comments would suggest he has faith in cleverley's ability to not let it get to him.

He recently said he hasn't seen a young player have the affect cleverley had recently for a long time. That's insane praise but you can see just why.

It's all in the mind. Reason he moves the ball quickly is because he knows exactly what he wants to do with it well before he gets it.

The thought of the quick passing football we played early on in the season is just

Yup, people are getting way too excited. Cleverley only played a few games and he's already our saviour. He's a good player atm, nothing more. Supporters...

The most important player in Manchester United's history?

Scholes being back will be great for Cleverley. Allows "Clevz" to not be rushed back. If we can get him and Ando fit and playing, and if Carrick can continue his great form, we are set for the run in. Just need a solid consistent defence. Is that too much to ask?

And yes, thats the vid. Love it.

Edited for you

Is he back? Hopefully he and Wilshere get selected for the Euros.

If they are selected and now Capello has fecked off they've a chance, I think England could do well. Maybe this:

Hart

Richards Smalling Cahill Cole

Willshire Parker Cleverly

Sturridge Rooney Wellbeck

Nah - you need to find room for Walcott ;)

Jones for Cahill? Yes I may be slightly biased.

Replace Parker with Jones, and Sturridge with Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and you've got a very good team right there.

if I was English I would be very excited about the future. your next management appointment could be the making of the England team. If they could look at the long term and use the Euros as a platform to bring on all these great kids and let the country know thats the plan so you could all get behind them you could be a real force in the next world cup.

But it'll probably be Harry and he'll gather the barrys and the lampards and nothing will change. you'll get beat, harry will be a gobshite and back to square one

A saw a few minutes of the reserve game yesterday and the younger lads all seem to play in the same pass and move routine. Exciting times! :D

Fergie is showering him with some crazy praise. Fergie....

We've seen some great combination football in the beginning of the season. Cleverley and welbeck, but also Rooney, Nani, Anderson, Young were playing great together.

This is still the best goal of the season. Great play by Cleverley, Rooney, Nani, etc. Starts with a one-two by Cleverley and Welbeck.
And there were some great ones against Spurs, Bolton and Barcelona pre-season as well I seem to remember.

Cleverley & Welbeck played some great football in that random United/French XI v Marseille in pre-season

I thought about putting Jonsey in there but I think he might leave us a bit exposed at the back with his forward runs. Also I didn't want to be to pro united. I think Sturridge has shown alot more than Ox to be fair and could be a great partnership with Wellbeck when Rooney drops deep to link up with Cleverly and Wilshire

Just hope we don't go back to Barry, Millner and Lampard as first choice midfielders. Not that I'm too bothered in England anyway, just love doing lineups.
