Fergie just said "it looks like he has a broken bone"

He's playing next week then for sure.

Cowards tackle, from behind, while the young lad isn't looking. Davis spent the week saying he was going to chuck himself about. Well done Kevin you cnut.

Cleverley has protective plastic boot on his left foot. Fergie: "Looks like a broken bone. We'll have to wait and see."

Why wasn't Davies booked?

feck broken bones... afraid it be a lengthy lay-off.

If that pathetic twat Davies had half an ounce of talent and played for a big club he'd be constantly lambasted by the media. Instead he's a shining British archetype.

We always have central midfield issues. If Cleverley is out for a while we really really need Anderson to continue to stay fit for a long time.

feck sake..horrible time for that to happen considering how his career is taking off. Can Davies get retroactively suspended the cnut?
No, the FA won't do anything.

Cleverley will be missing big games too, a shame

It wasn't even a bad tackle, just bad luck.

Some of you lot

The overreaction is ridiculous. So it was a tough tackle, big deal. We put in those all the time. It wasn't a two footed tackle or a stud's up one.

Yes it was, and the one on Evra was even worse. Davies is a thug.

The one on Evra was a very bad tackle. Lucky not to get a red card and could have caused a bad injury.

The one on Cleverley was mistimed but you could argue he was going for the ball and is a fairly typical tackle that is made in football. He could have booked up a booking but he was not going to injure the player and I don't think it was especially dirty.

First Danny, now Tom. But obviously it seems Tom's is worse, such a shame for him because he was doing so well and got himself into the first team.

That cnut Davies, well he did what he said he was setting out to do. Now one of our players has suffered the consequences.

Fergie was furious about it, and I'm sure he will say a few nice words about Davies at the press conferance. He's not his biggest fan that's for sure.

Feel so bad for the lad. He had such a great start and it looks to be a bad one. Best of luck to him.

From his Facebook update..

"Got the scan tomorrow, thanks for the comments! so angry right now, want everyone to know I got no apology from kevin davies! season could be over and received no apology."

Doubt this is real words from Tom, but still...

feck you, Davies, you fecking absolute cuntmunching donkey!

You do realise the tackle from behind is illegal and its illegal for a reason too: it was ending players careers. I genuinely cant remember a United player going right through the back of anyone this season. Cart horse Davies did exactly that to Cleverley. Centre circle, no danger, and he launches in like he's making a last ditch tackle on the line=intent to do harm.

Kevin Davies is a moron. Likes to play the hardman but he picks on the smallest players on the pitch like Evra and Cleverley. Can't remember him trying it on with Jones like he said he would can you? Typical coward. Barks loud against a smaller opponent but backs down when confronted by someone as big and bad. He may have ruined Cleverley's budding career with that challenge and make no mistake about it severely damaged our season. Make no mistake about it if Cleverley is out for ages at some stage we'll miss his ability to take the ball in tight spaces and take the pressure off our back line.

is that for real, season over hope not. :annoyed:

No, some of you lot are simply priceless, and not in a good way.

Well I'm disappointed we can't all live up to your high standards, Weaste, but one of our up and coming youngsters who's had a fantastic start to his season has just seemingly had his foot broken by a poor tackle from a serial fouler, so I don't see why you've got such a problem with people being upset.

I think you are overreacting a little. It's pretty obvious you are a Cleverley fanboy, but it was a poorly judged tackle with no real malice in it.

Davies isn't really a malicious player, he is overenthusiastic and physical but no more.

Cleverley will be unlucky if he has broken a bone, but it wasn't career threatening in any way. The tackle on Evra was far worse.

Its a times like this you can empathise with the likes of Cantona who used to lose it now and again on the pitch and last out. When you have the likes of Vinny Jones and "Razor" Ruddock and Kevin "I'm so f'n hard" Davies trying to take you out it'd be difficult to not wanna respond in kind...

True.

Those pointing out that Keano was just as bad also have a point, but to me the fact of what a feckin incredible football player he was makes a difference, compared to these twats who purely make a career out of being a thug.
