Gaming Tom Clancy's - The Division | Division 2 announced

Same for me. Not bothered with incursions as only 1 other mate is playing the Divison as regular as I am. I've done it with randomers and they just quit out after wave 6 or so, it's one thing to say "oh get good enough to do it proper", when you need 3 others to put the effort in as well. Lucky ye with yer PS4 colony.

So ya, if we get given an inch, I'll take it.

Not saying it is the dev's fault at all. I just don't really have the urge to sit and play the mode over and over and potentially get nowhere, while also not enjoying it.
If there is a way to get the item rewards quickly, then I don't mind.
As they have fixed it, I'm not really that bothered, but when the opportunity was there, why not
So you don't want to actually play the game because it's a challenge but want the rewards and so would rather exploit a bug to get them, instead of trying to improve your skill and strategy.

I'm not just singling you out, Igor, and you've paid for the game and I'm not in any position to tell anyone how to play their game....but that just reinforces my original point. I just think that it's sad that people's need for instant gratification outweighs their desire to challenge themself and actually earn their reward.

I was up for it because I feel totally left behind by the people that did the earlier exploits and feel way underpowered in the DZ. It feels like it's been made harder to catch up with the nerfing of crafting. I don't mind grinding, but it feels like I'm grinding and getting nowhere at the minute.
I didn't use the earlier exploits, except for a ten minute stint killing Bullet King when I joined Anustart89 & Ducklegs' group one day.

So, give or take 20 PXC, I have no more an advantage than anyone. I'd just rather earn my rewards and enjoy the challenge and the journey.

I'm honestly not wanting to, but I get the feeling that I'm starting to come across as a holier-than-thou preacher, so I'll leave it there.

I just don't get it. Each to their own, I guess.

It's not like it's a game breaking exploit. I'm at the point where I don't feel skill or getting better is going to do me much good and I have no way to catch up to the people in the DZ that I can't even hurt. Several times I've run into people that are wiping out all other players in there while barely taking any damage at all. I feel like I have no way to catch up to that level of gear with the way the game currently is. I'm frustrated with the nerfing of crafting, struggling to get to level 50 in the DZ with the constant rogue attacks and random drops are getting me nowhere. I don't mind getting a boost at this point even though I didn't do any of the other exploits.

Also the guys that I was playing with regularly have gotten to that stage where they keep talking about playing but no one ever does. So I'll probably never get to do the incursion anyway. From what I've played of it, it's not that good.

I'm probably near the end of my time with it so it's no big deal and I've had enough of a journey as I've played it for over 6 days.

Well, I decided to have a go, did it with 3 randomers first time
Was quite easy actually

Jammy  I'm jumping on now if you fancy another go.

:edit: never mind, patched alright. Can still go through the wall but as soon as you attack the tank, waves of troops kick in. I'll give it a bash anyways normally since I'm on.

sorry I ignored your invite mate, I was in the DZ with the group from the incursion, and had a really nice vector in my possession.
What a great game though. Extracted loads of stuff, killed loads of rogues, even went manhunt level and survived a 4 or 5 min Manhunt!

Was a lot of fun. Also, bought an AUG blueprint from the vendor in the DZ for level 25+ for anybody who is interested (Waste really as the blueprints are nowhere near as good as my vector ones, shame really as I like the AUG)

edit: Picked up one of them supply drops and got striker gloves, so it was an all round great night

Ah it's cool dude, I didn't realise you were in DZ until after the invite was sent!

The first Vector is the way to go. Difference of 400 DMG is nothing compared to the extra crit hit you gain

My Vectors all rolled with very similar stats, in fact the DMG was almost 11k. Yet the base DPS was coming up as only 50k on each of them. Were you getting a huge magazine or something?

Your bang on there, we as gamers know the only thing thats going to keep us interested is trying to get new better gear, its not like its out 7 months like destiny TTK which just basically launched a catch update, The only thing about thins game is i dont know what weapon i should aim to get, also @Damien is the gear score something similar to the light level in destiny because some of the new gear iv got has worse armour than my old.

Them scores are without any attachments. I assume it's all my crit damage bonuses etc from gear

Has anyone else been picking up ge new gear sets that aren't the Nomad stuff? Got a backpack drop from a boss before and so did my mate yesterday, same piece. Bought the DZ vendor pieces the other day so got 3 now but I want the Striker set. It makes snse if they've made that bit harder to acquire.

Nearly lost it in the DZ but luckily it was a private drop after some guy with 196 GL went rogue on us from behind.

I quite enjoy coming accross over powered Rogues and even squads of them. We went after them relentlessly which cost us a few keys and a level or two but we met them at every supply drop and at areas like the Pit and Midtown for all out wars...Some good gaming all round. Managed to drop a couple when 4 on 1 a few times, proper test of skill when you know you're not rolling with the same level gear!

Also been lucky and got a few Vectors last night which I've given the lads that didn't have one, loving the ability to share. Got an M1A that had a better talent than mine because the guy doesn't do Marksmans!

Nope, iv'e done all the missions on hard, but it's not registered me of doing them and giving me the trophy.
Ah. I thought I had same issue but turns out I didn't do Subway Morgue on hard until it appeared as the daily. Getting the echos will be a pain for me as some don't show up anymore.

The 191 stuff I noticed is usually worse than the 182 stuff. Wouldn't say its like the light level

I find that pretty annoying - am sure they said that to have a chance at the Incursion on CM, then you should have the new gear sets equipped.

I have 3 Sentry pieces equipped - so I get the bonuses - but 2 of those pieces are worse stat wise than the HE pieces I did have equipped. Surely the new gear should be a step up across the board??

I will say though, that the DZ is much better now that you are guaranteed to see more HE drops. Even if they aren't always useful - at least you can then share them with your team.

:( Congrats. Doesn't look like I'll be able to complete the Incursion before reset. All other caf PS4 players have completed it.

I found the incursion quite easy in the end. Get down into that shelter part. Have 2 guarding each entrance, and make sure you have that life support machine.
Both ammo crates are down there. Don't go to the enemy, let them come to you.

Anybody want to loot the darkzone? finally in the 161+ area, with a friend so could do with a few more.

Ugh. Made it to wave 11 and someone died in worst possible place and went downhill from there. That run was a dream on the whole @Hal9000 @FC Ronaldo. Shame we didn't do it.

How did we let it go so wrong so often after that first one? Ha.

Will be back at it tomorrow. Put that revive signature skill on for a reason.

You 2 available again?

I'll be on from around 1ish for most of the day so up for it whenever. Guess we got a bit complacent with the success of the first one and let the shotgunners and stuff destroy us (or did that happen in some runs after Hal left?).

On around 600 PXC now. Finding credits a lot easier to come by post-patch, though that may be because I've been in the dark zone a fair bit more in my quest to rank 75 (currently on 55 so not even half way XPwise from what I've heard).

Anyone running a a high Skill Build with Sticky Bomb?

Seen guys on YouTube doing 250k damage per sticky bomb taking out any player they like in the DZ but running skill cooldown abilities etc which basically looks like infinite Sticky Bombs! Yeah they drop easy if you can catch them but it's designed to be ran with a team with a tank and some high DPS guys too.

Interests me!

Sacraficing some health to go for a more attack minded build.
@Mr Anderson saw me first hand rushing like a mad man  (I was just testing it out to see how durable I would be in the DZ)

Primary DPS: 166K
Health: 67,500
skill: 15k

36% crit chance
229% crit damage
50% headshot damage
13% all weapon bonus - Reckless talent
20% armour damage

Weird timing. Saw a video on youtube just a few hours ago of the exact build you're on about.

Looks awesome.

Yeah, there is a couple of variations. The one I saw uses a First Aid mod that reduces skill cooldowns when it heals team mates. The way it worked out was:

Use Sticky
Heal team mates

Sticky instantly cooled down, use it
Heal instantly cooled down, use it

Repeat! The montage had whole squads of DZ agents going down.

Up to 5 new gear set items - 3 Sentry and 2 Nomad:

VSbDXAH.jpg

So the benefits I'm currently getting from them are:

Sentry’s Call bonuses:
  • Set bonus (2): +30% Head Shot Damage
  • Set bonus (3): +20% Damage to Elites
Path of the Nomad bonuses:
  • Set bonus (2): +100% Scavenging
Ideally I want to get one more Sentry piece, so I get the full bonus, and then probably 2 Striker pieces. But I figured I may as well get the Nomad pieces - if they ever sort out the scavenging stat then I should be good (am over 200% scavenging right now).

My health is kinda low, but my armor mitigation is around 63% - so almost at the max of 65%.

I have a HE M1A that I am tempted to swap in for the Superior M1A - but the purple one has the Balanced talent, so haven't figured out which is better. I need to test to see how they compare. I got a better Aug than the one I had from one of the bosses when doing the daily hard mission - so very happy with that.

I managed to get myself the 4th piece of the Striker's gear set last night. Gonna try it out today and see how good the whole set is. Although 2 of them I'd crafted myself after buying blueprints and can be improved so I'll re-roll them as soon as I get enough electronics. 8 electronics to make one piece seems ridiculous.

Yeah that was me... sorry about that. The bomb carrier on wave 10/11 eventually comes down but i think he got killed up the top, and then the 2nd part of the wave spawned as i was coming back to the pit and i just got destroyed by the drones.

Don't know why it fecked up after that. Probably need to have one person with a crowd control sticky bomb just in case we get rushed again, or hit survivor link.

After that it gets a bit easier, it's medics/heavies and elites with seeker mines after that. They usually stay back. You don't even need to kill all of them, because if you get the bomb on wave 15 and successfully plant it, all the leftover NPC's die anyway...

Ha ya man, the refugee camp, took me ages to catch up as I joined you late, you killed everyone for me. Easiest daily challenge ever for me

That's a nice build you got, health anything around 70k is good from what I have used from normal DZ to hard missions - not really tested challenging as I have no luck with randomers.

My build is currently 120k DPS, health 64k, skill 15k. I can tweak it for missions to increase dps to 135k, but my mitigated armour goes down from 55% to 43%, so not as good for DZ to save myself from rogues or barrage of enemies

The 20% armour damage, is that the mitigated Armor damage under the character heading?
