Ticket info thread - 2008/09: Touting will not be tolerated

That is surprising, with all ST holders being forced to take theirs - should only leave a few thousand for members.

Yup, I remember reading that when the away club takes its full allocation (3500) for a league game there are only 4000 tickets available for members including the ones sold to the supporters branches.

I suspect Villarreal have only asked for the South East Quadrant (1800), so that would mean there would be 5700 tickets available to members for this game. I suspect there aren't many unsold but you would think the club would be able to sell that amount of tickets to members.

It shows why the ACS is so important in terms of maximizing revenue. Without it there would be 10-15k empty seats for the Villarreal game costing the club 500k+ in lost revenue.

Hey guys...

I'm heading to sunny Manchester in January for the sole purpose of seeing United play at Old Trafford. It's basically like a last wish as I'm getting married in March and am using this trip to do the things I've always wanted before my beautiful fiance sucks the life out of me!

Now i realise that the fixtures shown now aren't always correct but the best i can come up with is either the 10th of January for Chelsea or the 31st against the Toffees.

I don't expect any freebies an am happy to pay anything reasonably affordable considering I'm on the Australian dollar. I've family in Salford and Old Trafford that are also trying to help me out.

Any direction or help would be greatly appreciated guys..

Thanks heaps
Cris

No reason those fixtures will move away from those weekends, but Chelsea will move for TV and Everton may well do, so could be any time form lunch on Sat to Sun evening.

Also, FA Cup on weekends of 3rd and (hopefully!) 24th, which could of course be home or away.

Not that surprising it went on General Sale, I think, considering it's a Spanish team with no away following. They'll will have trouble selling even 1800 tickets
when they can't fill their own 25.000 seats every week.

I think you misunderstood the point I was making though to be fair I didn't make it totally clear.

I meant that that the Villarreal match hadn't sold out to United fans.

The ticket office had liverpool away returns on sale today, can you believe it.
All gone now though

Can't believe i missed those feckin' returns! :(

feck it, anyone with a Chelsea away spare, give us a PM, and i'll try and return the favour int' future.

Wil be down there regardless.

Why is that the ticket office charged me £42 for each Villareal ticket and it says £40 on the ticket. Is it some special taxes commissions etc?

I also have some Villareal spares.

Some of the family can't go due to Ramadan.

Where do you sit?

I'd have taken then, but I too am fasting

Most of the seats are in the west stand (family section) slightly right of the goal posts. I also have some in the north stand tier one, bang on the centre line.

Send me a PM if you're stuck any time in the future.

If anyone was successful for Chelsea away can they PM me?

And no, i don't have a ticket, let alone a spare!

Just if you have one thr ought the official ballot let me know ta.

Any chance for a ticket against Aalborg BK (away) in the champions league ? Give me a PM, any help or tips on how to get one also greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know when applications for One United members open for the Celtic game at home?

The site's not working for me.

I know people with tickets for Chelski-United in the United end. Selling between £230-£400 a pair....I am not sure if I am allowed to give details, if not, feel free to delete this post mods...cheerio :)

230-400?

That's feckin' ridiculous, don't even entertain the idea of paying that.

Although if you're into that sort of thing, they'll be going for 100-150 outside close to KO.

That much! Jeese, now I'm thinking of selling mine if that's the going price. I mean for that sort of money, that would pay for my nice hotel in aalborg and a quality night at a hot danish brothel!

Only joking. I mean the bit of selling my ticket, not about visiting a hot danish brothel! :D

i am also looking for 1 for blackburn, i know its a long shot.
