Ticket info thread - 2008/09: Touting will not be tolerated

ive been speaking to sultan about 2 tickets for the spurs game on april 25th

We are trying to book our europe honeymoon trip and im worried the match might be re arranged due to our fa cup committments..

if it is moved around what is a typical scenario? ie week later

it may be easier for us to be in the uk mid may meaning trying to get tickets for man city or arsenal any chance of getting two?

Is FA Cup semi-final weekend the 25/26 April? If so and presuming we make it that far I would think the Tottenham game would be rescheduled either two and a half weeks or three and a half weeks later. It would be a midweek game which would greatly improve your chances of getting two tickets for the game.

The cheapest hospitality packages currently available from the club are £195 per person for the Man City game and £280 per person for the Arsenal game. Expensive but you don't need to be a member to buy them and if you ring up the club on Monday you'll be guaranteed the tickets.

Even if you have two One United memberships it will be very hard to get two tickets in either the members ballot or on Viagogo for those two games.

Touts may be a bit cheaper but using that method involves a far greater degree of risk than simply buying tickets from the club.

i looked on the facup website no sign of the dates for the semi final :confused:

yea i thought it would be pricey for the derby or gooners.. if anyone can confirm dates for the semi final weekend that would be great

i looked on the FA website and found it ! they are on Sat 18 th April and Sun 19 th April so if we get through it means the Wigan away game would have to be moved. We will be running out of dates to play all the games
 
Does anyone think that it is a strong possibility that the home game against arsenal will be moved to Sunday ?

your a champ i checked fixtures and it only had the fifth round..

my other half wants our europe honeymoon booked and obviously we dont want to commit to accomodation/flights etc only for the spurs home game to be switched!
 
if for some reason anybody knows of two tickets vs. pool @ old trafford are up for grabs please drop me a pm :angel:

I managed to get another ticket for I Milan on Viagogo yesterday, my bro might take it if not would not mind to swap for Lpool of course after Magic United. I kalso know its a long shot but hey can give it a try.
 
I have just been offered a pair of tickets to the last game of the season (away against Hull), but they are in the Hull end and are £50 each. Do people think this is a good price?

only time will tell, if everything goes to plan then you will see us doing the same as we did at Wigan last season and it was a great day, and if i had not have had a ticket i would have gladly paid £50 to have been there, but on the negative side and we have a disastrous end to the season, then maybe not, but it will still be a laugh, but they are a funny lot over there and it could be painful lol

It shouldn't do and I don't think I have ever seen this happen. Viagogo are only allowed to activate the buy button for a game on Viagogo when United have confirmed the game a sell out. This is usually around or just after the ballot results are released.
 
well i think the milan tickets were on viagogo over a week before the ballot results came out, which were yesterday. I bought a ticket via viagogo and checked yesterday and i was unsuccessful via ballott.

If they have more ticket applications then then seats they know they have sold out. This means that viagogo can release tickets.

Maybe the way in which they work isn't consistant. However we know that Liverpool has been over subscribed as this is guaranteed. Yet these are not for sale on Viagogo?!?!?!? ;)
