Ticket info thread - 2008/09: Touting will not be tolerated

I'm not advertising other forums on here, would be unfair. But think forums that are more popular with matchgoing fans and you'll be on the right lines.

if I knew that then I wouldnt be asking :)
i dont have a clue about which forums are popular with which groups - in fact I barely know what United forums even exist - until about 6 months ago I had never even looked at any United forum

can you PM me the info please?

thats the problem its around half an hour which is tight.

It is. Game will end at approx 21.35. Allow ten minutes from the final whistle to get on the tram. Tram to Piccadilly takes 12-15 minutes. It'll take a couple of minutes to find your train. So you've got five minutes in hand.

Just make sure you run like Forrest Gump and you'll make it. Good luck ;)

true but things have just got worser. on the thursday i HAVE got to be in solihull by 11:30 ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh things just could not get any worser.

zub, National Express is the only answer.

They have overnight buses.

Yeah i know what you mean, but to say the truth the meeting that i got in solihull is pretty important so looks like i will have to get rid of it.

Just a quick question, if i wanted to get rid of my ticket for I milan match can i ask you guys here for price including the admin charge from viagogo. If no then that is fine.

I don't want to act as a forum spokesperon but...

That should be fine mate.

This would therefore guarantee zub getting there & back on the night - sorted!

True but to say the truth as the meeting is important will be hard to do it, damn i am sooooo gutted never been to a champions league game, i get a ticket now this happens. Will speak to my mate at work tomorrow and see what he has got planned, but looks like i will have to leave it out.

Where is your time problem?

You would be back that night. (Coventry perhaps 12.45?) If you have to work past pick-up time before the game go up via train & back on the coach.

Do not give up!!

Looks like Imps has sorted your timing problem.

I'm sure you're a big enough boy to go to OT without your mate. :)

Thats a good one, truthfully wont mind going on my own, its just because of the work reasons and the meeting the day after, i will have to think about but at moment not looking too good. The ballot results on feb 12

I often have to go into work for 7 am after a 2 am return.

If I'm not sharp enough that morining I may not avoid getting hit by someone under stress I haven't spotted and defused.

I still go unless I cannot get the game afternoon off work.

well aint ask my workplace if i can have the time off but that should be fine. i do want to go but the meeting i got to attens is very important and can not have any mishaps

Surely you won't really need ANY time off . Maybe a couple of hours on the afternoon of the game if you catch the supporters coach - otherwise no probs.

Enjoy!!

the earliest i can finish is around 4, so it would be touch and go, maybe half day or something. Will See otherwise someone on here will be happy.

Imp has sorted it above for you.

It's a piece of piss what you'd have to do. A mate of mine from home will often get a 2AM boat home, in for 6 in work for 9...

The sad thing is I could be doing this next year :(

If you want to do it, you do it...

So get the train to the game and arrange for the coach back!

I'm sure Imp could arrange a guide to the coach after the game if asked nicely.

FS has the right idea here...

Put a bit of commitment into it for feck sake.

:)

Haha this is brilliant. Zub clearly doesn't want to go whatsoever and the helpful folk of Red Cafe aren't making it easy for him to take the honourable way out. :D

No it didn't really. I just used to turn up to work in the mornings pissed as a tramp and half asleep, propped up against the coffee machine.
Before moving to Manchester I had to spend a few uncomfortable nights at Piccadilly train station because I missed the last train.

There are some right fecking nutters around at that time of night let me tell you.

I know, I use to live right across from there, many an late night trip to the 24 hour Spar.

You should of seen the place at 1AM when Rangers were in town...

Top reds :D

Looks like the Caf has won and i have decided that i will go the the game, thanks for making me make the right choice.

Good for you :D

...said grudgingly, of course! :@

*reiterates desire for tix against the Dippers and/or Milan at OT ;P*

Thanks guys, after a long think, i was like champions league game at OT, come on what am i thinking! No wonder the Caf is telling me to go.
