"Martial is championship material at best"
I don't think this is happening...Chill everyone!
Perhaps the player himself is confident that he will earn his place in the new club. But surely if he's leaving Arsenal because he's not happy at sitting on the bench, then he's not going to want to come here to sit on the bench? The alternative is that we'll actually play him as a first choice defender, which is terrifying.
No worries mate. We're just cutting down bumping old threads and encouraging posters to start new ones instead.
We'll throw in a free Diaby if you take him.

He's a renovator's dream!Ermm...I...no thanks?
Rooster?Diaby still qualifies for the "players that would improve utd.'s midfield" rooster.
VermaelOff
Subbed off after 30 mins. Wasnt very good while he lasted
Edit - looks like he injured himself in the warmup. No surprise he didnt look good in the game and didnt last till half time
Rooster?
Roster, ffs.
Arsene Wenger has rejected Manchester United’s bid for Thomas Vermaelen.
United’s new boss Louis van Gaal could come back for the Arsenal club captain, who has one year left on his contract.
Boss Wenger could offer the 28-year-old Belgium defender a new deal as he does not want him to leave.
It is also understood that United are nowhere near Arsenal’s valuation and Wenger may also ask for players to be included in any potential deal.
Wenger would also be reluctant to sell to a direct rival having been so heavily criticised for accepting United’s offer for Robin van Persie two years ago.
Napoli have been interested in Vermaelen in the past but United have already sounded out his representatives about a move to Old Trafford.
Wenger has praised Vermaelen’s attitude after he accepted being back-up to Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker but they still face a battle to keep him this summer.
Meanwhile, Arsenal could get a staggering £12MILLION for Mexican forward Carlos Vela.
They have agreed an £8m deal with Real Sociedad but that could rise significantly based on appearances, goals and bonuses.
Not really happy about this signing if it goes through. We already have three defenders who suffer frequent injuries, it's vital we get someone who has a clean injury record IMO. Not too mention, he is hardly an improvement on our other defenders.
The only reason I'd like this to happen is because it's amusing to see Arsenal continuously raided and that's hardly ample enough reason.
