Thomas Muller

As funny as it is: that's a staged ad though?!

Watched his two goals over the weekend against Darmstadt. I still can't make out which position he plays but whenever the ball is played into the box, he is always there to put it in the net.

He's so modern and perfect.

Versatile is often code for not good enough to play at any position but can fill in holes, for example in the back because he's so big/ fast on the wings/ can pass a ball from midfield even though he's a defender etc etc etc.

Müller is the kind of player that you would actually want 5-6 clones of in your offense. Amazing man, role model and person.

I agree. I can´t stand him. Is there a bigger whinier bitch in football today? There is a reason Robben throttled him on the pitch.

Robben was just jealous because Müller's never injured. :smirk:

It's easy to see why Bayern fans love him. Not the typical football personally.

Yeah he's horrible. Fake funny media darling and a massive bellend on the pitch. Brilliant footballer tho, I have to say.

Why couldn't van Gaal have been successful? A move materialising would have gone from 0.1% possible to 0.2%. :(

Because it was such a gamble whether we or Bayern would have the better season?

well their league is a walkover of course, but we finished 4th, and we spent an incredible sum, so you'd have presumed we'd have at least bettered 4th.

Stands still. Scores.
Stands still. Celebrates with fist pumps.
Also missed a sitter.

How can any football fan not love this guy?

The start of this thread is so weird, with mentions of van Gaal that aren't immediately followed by ranting, hatred, bitching, calls for his resignation and general animosity.

Not sure whether possibly top 3 in the Premier League is more of a incentive than probably winning the german league again and challenging strong for the CL though.

Really like him. Comes across as a genuinely nice and funny guy, very different to your usual footballers.

My favourite non-United footballer since the 2010 World Cup.

I remember us playing Bayern in the Champions League during the spring before that World Cup and thinking how poor of a state Bayern were in, fielding no-name players like Badstuber and him. How wrong was I! :(

Can you guess from who the following phrase is?

He is horny in the box and horny for Lisa?

It's been a running joke between me and my friends that Müller is "explosively horny" for goals since long before the van Gaal interview.

He managed to miss a penalty against Oblak. Missed another one yesterday.
Not sure why he took that penalty against Atletico now..
