I think HHH teaming with them and posting it everywhere is ego. Honestly. I think HHH saw Angle with Shield and was like, I need some of that.

The problem with Shield was Roman being out for the last PPV. Thats really put the brakes on their reunion.
They could have had Shield win at TLC (if Roman was there) and then had each member take on Brock. First Rollins, then Ambrose. And then Roman, but Roman being the guy to topple him at WM.

The whole thing they are doing just doesnt make sense anyway. Kane destroying everybody, just to make him look a strong threat so they can feed him to Braun. And thats to make Braun look strong as they took away his steam after losing to Brock with one f5. And one of the guys Kane destroyed / squashed was Balor, who they had beat AJ the night before. And that was presumably to have him strong when he eventually faces Brock? But they took away all momentum just like that.
Its all mad stuff that makes no sense

(Dont really want to get into the whole SD siege of Raw. I havent seen past that but all those guys just working together when theres no apparent reward for doing so? hmmm).
 
Think people are reading a little too much into it.

People might have bought tickets for these shows hoping to see Roman/Shield so instead of leaving them with nothing, HHH steps in to give fans some money's worth.

No big deal.

Yeah it certainly seems that way. Just a let’s get a quick pop and mercy sales from the shield with no real plan. That’s what it feels like. Of course Roman being out hasn’t helped and I agree they should’nt really be champs right now.

Have to say I know it’ll never happen but if there was a god and since The Bullet Club are basically roasting WWE at every opportunity and Roman trying to get involved as well can we not get a shield/ Finn and AJ vs The Bullet club.
Gallows and Anderson end up getting involved then AJ and Finn turn on the Shield and do some sort of once in the club you’re always in the club and we just ignore that they beat the heck out of AJ and booted him out.
Then let WWE loosen some of their wrestling restrictions.

Balor seems to be the next challenger for Lesnar at the Rumble so I don't think there's much chance of the Bullet Club coming together for now. As for the SHield I think the best route might be to have them together until the Rumble, where they work together as Reigns wins, he challenges Brock,at WM Rollins fights for the IC title (probably get it off miz to someone like Balor by then, Balor vs Rollins would be a big enough match for WM), and have Dean challenge whoever is the US champ (he can give the premise that since his brothers are fighting for titles he wants to as well). Have all 3 win the gold at WM and close the show with the 3 doing their fist bump holding their titles. After WM they could draft Rollins to SD and perhaps Dean turns heel later in the year to feud with Roman.

Because Dean turning heel on Seth before WM would be too predictable, plus with ROman's illness the momentum has anyway fizzled out of their return, best would be to keep them together till WM and show their dominance as a force and then go their separate ways.

He's still on WWE Smackdown superstars page. Most news outlets are saying he hasn't a contract with WWE but didn't he just appear on SM a month back? Maybe there is an agreement with a rematch at Mania, that most likely won't happen but anyway who cares at this point this is great news.

Pretty much. He works until his contract runs out, does his own thing/tour with fozzy then signs again with WWE. Just this time he's decided to do some wrestling between his WWE stints. Not sure WWE will be best pleased mind.
 
WWE live show in Madrid is over. First time I've watched wrestling in a while. My observations

The women wrestlers are really good these days

New Day are pretty funny

Kevin Owens and AJ Styles are really good

Nakamura's entrance song may be one of the best ever

Comment of the night was from Sami Zayn "It's great to be here in this city. It's one of my favourite in the world. I love it here in Barcelona. What? This is Madrid? Well I guess Madrid is ok too"

Hope you had a great time, we went to the raw show in Cardiff yesterday and it was awesome. Finn balor and bray wyatts entrances are amazing in person, saw hhh joining the shield in place of roman reigns, saw golddust rhino and Matt hardy for a retro fix, sang along with Elias playing wonder wall, got a fist bump off hhh and Seth Rollins and high fives from asuka and Bayley :) was an epic night

Wow sounds amazing. I think you maybe got more of the big name stars. Although I'm kind of out of the loop so it seems Nakamura, Owens and AJ Styles are big names.

One other thing to point out was Sin Cara picked up a knee injury so could be out of action for a bit
 
Just watched the Grado and Abyss match for Impact's Bound For Glory, horrendous match. I don't get why Grado is so over and given so much air time when there's so many talented wrestlers not getting a chance.

Had an awesome time at the show last night, was third row ringside across from the cameras. Right near a couple of Bayern fans who were pretty hilarious, although I had about 8 pints so I was going to enjoy myself no matter what :lol: also met Darren Fletcher, he was there with his kids so got a photo with him.

I’m just watching it now and haven’t come across that title fight but was just thinking when I saw that was happening tonight the New day vs The Shield is the only fight for the Shield that makes any sense.
I just wonder how it will be played. No heals, or just treated like a one off and will we see super Roman basically man handle the new day. Like the new day isn’t really packaged as great wrestlers even tho they are all pretty good.

last month was reported Jinder was advertised for India tour as a 2 time champion.

Either something is up with Jinder or Cena can’t be special guest ref so they have to go in another direction.
 
I’m sure there was a rule in WWE where the men can’t touch the woman. I mean it was kinda a funny match but a few fluffed moves. Seemed like Ellsworth was handeling her with kid gloves so some of the locks ups and whips looked a bit iffy. Also why wasn’t she disqualified for the atomic drop which was actually just dropping him nuts first on to her knee.
Wonder if this means we’ll see things like Steph getting a stunner or dudes slamming woman through tables and vice versa like the old days.

Braun vs Alexa Bliss or something.

Also weve seen Steph getting speared by Roman (even if they count it as accident, or her going through a table, again stated as accident).
I think this was a one off type given Ellsworth role.

Im interested to see AJ vs Brock. I hope they use the template of Punk vs Brock from years ago. Also interested to see what Brock sells of AJs offence.

Isn’t an atomic drop normally done the other way round so it’s to the butt? I mean it’s fake and all but it’s basically a low blow :lol:

I'm guessing Vince doesn't really see Ellsworth as male so that's why it was allowed to go ahead!

Ellsworth is the wimpiest guy on the roster and Becky is one of the more jacked woman but Ellsworth still looked comfortably bigger.
