What a stupid thing to do... Have Balor squashed by Kane? Why bother having Balor beat AJ in a great match if he to be squashed by a 50 year old part timer? The only reason they are building up Kane is for Strowman to squash him. How can they possibly build up Balor now and have him legitimately challenge Lesnar? The WWE writers really are so poor. They could have had 20 lads do that job for Kane instead, Matt Hardy for example. Absolutely stupid.
Raw is the brand for Vince's wet dream. Big muscle men take the limelight and the others are reduced to a B card.
Smackdown is the brand where actual wrestlers and entertainers do their thing (bar Jinder which won't last much longer I reckon).
Writing on both shows is pretty terrible though.
The Smackown beatdown was dumb. Gable beating up his friend for no reason? Super babyface Becky cheering on random people getting beat up?
Let's not forget these intense current rivals (Corbin/Dillinger, Ziggler/Roode etc) all suddenly working in tandem. Plus having all these baby faces (Shane/Styles/New Day) acting like thugs and on TOP OF ALL THAT, AJ attacking Ambrose and Rollins... the guys he JUST teamed up with a few hours back. None of it makes any sense
@Name Changed I found that a really weird decision to have him lose. After the AJ match he finally seemed like a someone back in the WWE. Away from this supernatural nonsense then loses to Kane who was effectively a jobber before he had his break. At least have Kane get disqualified. Doesn’t harm Balor and gets the point of Kane being a monster across who could match up to Strauman.He sure looked strong losing to Kane last night.
Was it just me or was that crowd really poor as well. I thought the Alexa promo was decent but damn she was having to work hard to get any reaction. Even when Brock who normally gets a huge pop it was barely a smattering of noise.
The writing in WWE is a joke. I could probably bash out better story lines whilst I’m on the toilet taking a morning deuce.

I just watched that beat down now and I have to say Rusev. Needs to change his character to that guy. A beanie, a cut tank top and some decent joggers and all of a sudden he looks a complete bad ass. For ages whilst he was standing around the ring I was trying to figure out who it was. Looked so different.

He looked absolutely huge as well. Kinda reminded me of younger Brock as he used to dress like that. Now tho it just doesn’t look the same when he does it.

Smackdown has just as many issues right now. A bang average Women's champion, one of the worst main title runs ever with Jinder, the likes of Kanellis and Dillinger debuting and getting completely lost in the shuffle. In fact you can put Roode and Nakamura in with those two as well. The magic of Nakamura has completely died since his debut thanks to an absolutely terrible feud with Jinder Mahal. Roode, one of the best natural heels in the company, for some bizarre reason debuts and goes into a program with heel Ziggler.
Just like Raw they have some positives (Corbin, Styles, Owens, Usos etc) but they have equally as many negatives and as many booking issues too.
That decision last night to have Balor lose to Kane like that though was absolutely mind boggling. Truly bizarre. This is the same brand/writers that took two of most over talents in the company in Bayley and Sasha though and somehow managed to book them so badly to a stage where the crowd no longer give a shit about them.
They've destroyed Roode in record time. Booking him as a face is the first fatal mistake but then putting him in a 50/50 booking program with Ziggler is ineptitude on another scale. I'm enjoying the Owens and Zayn stuff and the Usos on Smackdown but everything else is a mess.

That'll effect him in the long run for sure as the meniscus is the shock absorber in your knee. I've had two operations on mine and I get pain after football, he'll be lifting heavy weight on a constant basis so it'll take it's toll on him.
Apart from maybe Harper, Rusev is the most underrated guy they have. The guy is a so funny and charasmatic on social media and on upupdowndown yet apart from that time he stole a monitor and declared himself the tv champion he rarely gets to show it off. If they let him off the leash they'd really have something with him.
Yeah he is. Not gonna bother hiding it but upon occasion I view Total Divas and he is hilarious on that. Would rather he was more just a funny bad ass than funny foreigner. I hate when they do a nationality stick.

I'm Kane's biggest fan and want him to have a last good run, but beating Balor was one of the craziest things I've seen. Why have Balor beat AJ in one of the matches of the year, just to get squashed by Kane the following night? Kane has to look strong, he has to beat someone notable. But Balor was literally the single worst choice on the roster.
I also think the Raw team for Survivor Series is going to look somewhat weak depending on a few things. Are we going to see a couple of matches at SS where Raw faces Raw and SmackDown faces SmackDown? Kane vs. Strowman seems like it has to happen either there or just on Raw, because they can't drag this out until the Royal Rumble (Clash of Champions is for some reason a SD only ppv). Another (rather stupid but possible) option is that Kane & Strowman both end up on Team Raw with Kurt trying to get them to co-exist, which will obviously end in failure. Have to admit it's rather unlikely with Reigns probably on Team Raw as well.

I'm a fan. I'm an Elias fan.
Elias is about the only recent NXT call up that's doing well and he was a bit part player in NXT. The curse of terrible booking has now plagued Asuka.
There is something to this. Whether they only thrive in NXT's setting or WWE's creative fecks them over (definitely the case for Finn and maybe Bayley) is unclear.
I hate Ziggler but his current gimmick is actually spot on. A few of them are just a flamboyant entrance right now (Nakamura, Roode).
That's the thing. He's being presented as a heel but everything he's saying is spot on true!
