Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

Apparently they went off script. Hmm.
That would be quite funny given all that BS about 'reach for the stars' etc.

Atomic drop and inverted atomic drop. LOL.
Technically it’s still dropping a dude on his nuts. I just want some consistency WWE:lol::lol: secretly there was a point where I was kinda hoping she was going to give him a low blow and cheat to win so a storyline could be made out of that.

Ellsworth jobbed well, Graves had a great line about his trunks looking like something you'd find in Saxton's mum's underwear drawer.

Its one of those things thats always been accepted for some reason but i get what youre saying lol

Owens and Zayn were sent home for going off script, they were meant to get beat up by the New Day after Zayn lost to Kofi, instead of rolling out of the ring

Convinced it's a work. WWE trying to blur the lines.
Same. KO/Zayn vs New Day is advertised for the next SD which I'm personally hoping is a 3v2 match. :D
Why does everyone rate Rusev so highly?
I'm not as big a fan as some, but I can see why a lot of people have grown to love him. He's a big athletic dude who's shown he has a fun personality (outside WWE TV).
That was one of the matches i was most looking forward to :(
Same. :( Was for sure going to be match of the night. I don't want to see Reigns eat New Day alive but at least we get AJ-Brock!
What do people think is going to happen with KO and Sammy for survivor series. Surely they can’t be left out.
I don't think they'll have a match and end up costing the mens team at SS. Maybe with the help of Daniel Bryan.
Don’t watch WWE but just got back from smackdown. Very pleasantly surprised!
Nice! Do you think you'll continue watching or was it a one off?
Had an awesome time at the show last night, was third row ringside across from the cameras. Right near a couple of Bayern fans who were pretty hilarious, although I had about 8 pints so I was going to enjoy myself no matter what  also met Darren Fletcher, he was there with his kids so got a photo with him.
I swear I see a Bayern Munich fan in the crowd every time I watch a part of the show  I think Fletch comes to a WWE show everytime they're in Manchester. It's cool that you got a pic with him.
WWE live show in Madrid is over. First time I've watched wrestling in a while. My observations

The women wrestlers are really good these days

New Day are pretty funny

Kevin Owens and AJ Styles are really good

Nakamura's entrance song may be one of the best ever

Comment of the night was from Sami Zayn "It's great to be here in this city. It's one of my favourite in the world. I love it here in Barcelona. What? This is Madrid? Well I guess Madrid is ok too"
I'm glad you had fun. Yeah, the women aren't there for show anymore - they actually wrestle!
Hope you had a great time, we went to the raw show in Cardiff yesterday and it was awesome. Finn balor and bray wyatts entrances are amazing in person, saw hhh joining the shield in place of roman reigns, saw golddust rhino and Matt hardy for a retro fix, sang along with Elias playing wonder wall, got a fist bump off hhh and Seth Rollins and high fives from asuka and Bayley :) was an epic night
Bayley's slacking off! Only a high 5? No hug? I'd ask for a refund :p It was probably worth it for Elias doing Wonderwall alone, though!

There's a guy wearing a Bayern shirt in the front row at some PPVs, he's not a constant staple though like that guy with the long hair who's always in the the front row with his mum.

I saw a guy with a Bayern Munich shirt at the SD just gone in Manchester again. I swear if there's no Bayern fan you have an Arsenal fan who holds a huge cut out of the clubs badge.

Still no update on KO and Zayn from what I can tell. They were sent home after the UK SmackDown taping, but it wasn't for going off script in the interview segment like first reported. They were meant to take a beating off the New Day in the ring after the match between Zayn and Kofi, but instead left the ring and fled (I think it was an honest mistake but we'll have to see). In defence of at least Zayn, it is horrible booking having him lose to Kofi then take a beating as well, as I don't think it helps his cause at all. I don't think he's purposely done that though, it was probably just a mix-up as getting back in the ring for a pair of heels against three faces would be very strange. As of right now, it's up in the air as to what will happen. Even people 'in the know' are reporting it could result in anything from suspension, release or even them returning as early as this coming Tuesday, some of which sounds way too drastic to me.

Survivor Series is seeing monumental changes so close to the PPV with seemingly little forced reasoning, more-so than any previous PPV I can remember. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with Jinder, just that they've given it every chance to work and people really aren't interested in the idea of Jinder vs. Lesnar, so they made the switch late on. I thought maybe there was a small injury to Jinder that they didn't want to risk, so let him heal up for the India Tour in December. However, the non-televised shows for the rest of the UK Tour have a main event of AJ defending against both Jinder and Nakamura, so it isn't that.

I think additional changes are still a possibility. Jason Jordan is the most likely to be dropped, there's loads of ways they can do this. A heel turn would make the most sense as I think we'll see Bray or Roman take his place (hopefully Bray so Roman can do the 3v3 vs New Day). The other change would be swapping Charlotte and Natalya around as it brings out a stronger Women's Champion match without detracting too much from the 5on5 - especially if Bayley is the final member of Raw.

My prediction for the men's 5on5 is that there will be a hell of a lot of interference. If Jordan is still in the match and they want to do the heel turn, he's probably going to get Kurt eliminated. Kane removing Strowman from the match is the most likely outcome if he isn't going to be the sole survivor of Raw. I don't think you can let anyone from Team SmackDown pin Braun right now, so it's the easiest way to get him out of the match without losing. There may even be a bit of bad blood throughout with Finn and Joe. However, despite these shortcomings for Raw, they'll win the match so long as the whole Kevin Owen's and Sami Zayn angle pays out as expected. There's also Jinder I suppose. It'll be strange to have such a long reigning champion (in this day and age) to not have anything booked for one of your top PPVs after just losing the title. Maybe he will cost AJ the match against Lesnar? Or at least try to. Could add to the clusterfeck in the 5on5 if it's after the champion vs champion. If they want to do something with him and Cena still, he could attack Cena in that as well. There are a few options.

Have to say though, this card is looking excellent. Has the potential to be great and outclass Wrestlemania.

I would think they will probably now go with a storyline of Jinder winning it in India or something like that. Are they doing a Smckdown and Raw in India or Just house shows? But AJ Lesnar is a bucket list match I just hope Lesnar performs.

As for Sami and KO it surely has to be a work them getting beat up by the New day makes no sense, also if all they did was roll out when they weren’t supposed to the reaction seems a bit extreme unless they’ve told the writers they are twats and deliberately ignored instruction.

Hopefully none of this Jinder winning the title in India stuff. The dude is Canadian!

Put him back in the midcard/lowercard after a rather forgettable title reign.
"He has a foreign name and is brown like them. They'll love him!"

- Vince, probably.

Born in Canada, but still Indian.

SS looks more intriguing than WM. WM is normally an orgy for Old guys. This defo looks like it could be fun. I enjoyed the mens 5 on 5 last year.

The Raw women's 5 are bound to win as they'll not want Asuka to get pinned, they'll be hyping up her being undefeated for ages. I wouldn't be surprised to see Paige make her comeback.
I think Paige will make her comeback as well, seems to have been in Florida training a lot at the development centre. I’m just not sure on what brand. Rumour is Smackdown which kinda just seems like a dead division. I think she’d be better on Raw but then her and Bliss’s characters are kinda similar in certain ways.
Kinda agree on that Asuka thing, surely they’ll play her super strong but one thing they could do with Paige is have her beat the snot out of Asuka before the match so she can’t compete or something Paige takes her place then Asuka later comes in and goes after Paige setting them up for a storyline or Paige gets involved in the champion vs champion fight.

Another square off which will probably be intresting is Nia and Tamina being the powerhouses in the teams there are so many mini storylines or storylines that could go on from here.

Could also see Lana interfere somewhere too since she got overlooked when they announced the Smackdown team, think it was Daniel Bryan that just said straight up she's not in it and she stood giving him an evil stare afterwards. So maybe she'll turn on the Smackdown team

That’s a good point. I imagine the men’s match is going to go down like that actually with KO and Sammi getting involved. Ugh now that I’m thinking about it I bet Jinder interferes with Brock and AJ it wouldn’t surprise me with how poor the writing has been if all 3 finish in some interference situation.

I was speaking to my friend at Raw about Paige, secretly hoping for a UK appearance for her but obviously was being optimistic. Her being on Team Raw would be amazing and practically nail on them winning IMO, especially if Natalya is dropped for Charlotte (at least then Charlotte would balance things out a bit by beating Alexa). Looking at the card, I can't see Team Raw Men, Women, Lesnar, or even Alexa Bliss losing, at least not entirely cleanly, which is far too much dominance even for the bigger show.

SmackDown winning every other match still isn't easy to make a case for either. Miz vs. Corbin just seems strange, it's probably got to be a Miz DQ loss (unless Sin Cara beats Corbin for the title). If Shield vs. New Day happens, can The New Day realistically win that with it being the first reunion? I doubt it. Uso's beating BAR is doable, but I'd still pit Sheamus and Cesaro as favourites...

Depending on the KO and Zayn situation, maybe Team SmackDown wins the Men's 5on5? Kane and a Jason Jordan heel turn to cost Kurt would probably give him an excuse to not get fired and then have another chance to prove himself in a match at a future PPV.

I'm going with Charlotte over Alexa, Miz over Corbin, RAW women over Smackdown, Enzo over Kalisto, The Bar over Usos and Brock vs. AJ ending no contest/Brock wins by DQ after Jinder interference. Assuming they do Shield vs New Day I'm going Shield on that one. That would leave RAW with 4 wins, Smackdown 1, and 1 either no contest or won by DQ.

Only match I can't make my mind up on is the men's elimination match. Think Kane is interfering to eliminate Strowman, and KO/Sami are interfering to take out Shane. Got a feeling Cena & Angle are going to be the last men standing. Thinking maybe Smackdown with KO and Sami still hanging around to cost Kurt.

Dream booking would be KO & Sami showing up alongside Triple H and Neville during the 5v5 with Triple H and Neville going for Kurt and KO and Sami going for Shane.

A lot of this is mostly my thinking, but I can't imagine the 'losing brand' to not get three victories for their side over the night (assuming it's about 8 or 9 brand vs brand matches to allow for chance of draw or 5-4 swing).

Actually looking forward to WWE this whole week. Been ages since ive looked forward to Raw, SD and the PPV.
(Not counting NXT as thats a given)

Return of Reigns and Shield together. Hopefully return of Paige.
And tomorrow, first night with AJ as champ (before facing Brock, unless they do a rematch and screw people over lol), probably Team Raw invades, KO/Zayn of course.
And SS looks set up really nicely with some interesting match ups.

And has all that anticipation been sapped by Stephanie kicking off Raw?

It has for me. Christ, she is intolerable.

Going to assume Paige just wasn't fully ready in time and was given every chance to be. Makes sense as Bayley was always the most obvious addition to the team and it's taken them this long to give her the spot - wouldn't have got it if Paige was back. Although, there were some rumours floating around that Paige would actually come back as a SmackDown superstar instead*, so there's still a possibility they add her to the card or she interferes in the actual 5v5 match if fully fit. SmackDown does have less female talent IMO so it would make sense to move her, as Raw has Alexa, Asuka, and even Sasha, Bayley and Nia to a lesser extent. SmackDown has Charlotte, and maybe Naomi to compete with that level of talent, possibly Tamina at a push, so SD could use another top female wrestler. Charlotte and Natalya stretching all the way to Wrestlemania is something I think would bore the fans and I don't think there's enough talent to believably challenge Charlotte once she gets the title back.

More likely case is Alexa faces off against some myriad of toothless challenges from the likes of Nia/Bayley/Sasha again while Paige and Asuka are buttered up for Wrestlemania. Paige could come back and beat Alexa early on and eventually face Asuka at Wrestlemania, or we see some kind of triple threat at one point as I think Alexa is good enough to be champion until WM.

*On the coming to SmackDown thing, Kane was a SD superstar before his random return to Raw. They never explained the switch, so there seems to be no rules on long-term absentees returning to the other brand.

If Paige is ready, they should have Charlotte win the title tonight. So shes off team SD and Paige takes her place (pissing off Nattie as it should have been her). She can then interfere and either cost Paige or Charlotte the match at SS.
Unless Carmella gets involved somewhere and cashes in.

Also boy, they really destroyed Jordan last night. (granted theyve done a bad job last few weeks especially the follow up to his matches with Cena and Reigns).

Also zzzz Angle vs HHH. They are bringing back Angle and his one on one match at Rumble or WM will be against HHH. zzzz

HHH to turn on Kurt costing RAW the match, HHH celebrates with Shane setting up WM34 matches
HHH V Kurt
Shane V Bryan
