Still no update on KO and Zayn from what I can tell. They were sent home after the UK SmackDown taping, but it wasn't for going off script in the interview segment like first reported. They were meant to take a beating off the New Day in the ring after the match between Zayn and Kofi, but instead left the ring and fled (I think it was an honest mistake but we'll have to see). In defence of at least Zayn, it is horrible booking having him lose to Kofi then take a beating as well, as I don't think it helps his cause at all. I don't think he's purposely done that though, it was probably just a mix-up as getting back in the ring for a pair of heels against three faces would be very strange. As of right now, it's up in the air as to what will happen. Even people 'in the know' are reporting it could result in anything from suspension, release or even them returning as early as this coming Tuesday, some of which sounds way too drastic to me.
Survivor Series is seeing monumental changes so close to the PPV with seemingly little forced reasoning, more-so than any previous PPV I can remember. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with Jinder, just that they've given it every chance to work and people really aren't interested in the idea of Jinder vs. Lesnar, so they made the switch late on. I thought maybe there was a small injury to Jinder that they didn't want to risk, so let him heal up for the India Tour in December. However, the non-televised shows for the rest of the UK Tour have a main event of AJ defending against both Jinder and Nakamura, so it isn't that.
I think additional changes are still a possibility. Jason Jordan is the most likely to be dropped, there's loads of ways they can do this. A heel turn would make the most sense as I think we'll see Bray or Roman take his place (hopefully Bray so Roman can do the 3v3 vs New Day). The other change would be swapping Charlotte and Natalya around as it brings out a stronger Women's Champion match without detracting too much from the 5on5 - especially if Bayley is the final member of Raw.
My prediction for the men's 5on5 is that there will be a hell of a lot of interference. If Jordan is still in the match and they want to do the heel turn, he's probably going to get Kurt eliminated. Kane removing Strowman from the match is the most likely outcome if he isn't going to be the sole survivor of Raw. I don't think you can let anyone from Team SmackDown pin Braun right now, so it's the easiest way to get him out of the match without losing. There may even be a bit of bad blood throughout with Finn and Joe. However, despite these shortcomings for Raw, they'll win the match so long as the whole Kevin Owen's and Sami Zayn angle pays out as expected. There's also Jinder I suppose. It'll be strange to have such a long reigning champion (in this day and age) to not have anything booked for one of your top PPVs after just losing the title. Maybe he will cost AJ the match against Lesnar? Or at least try to. Could add to the clusterfeck in the 5on5 if it's after the champion vs champion. If they want to do something with him and Cena still, he could attack Cena in that as well. There are a few options.
Have to say though, this card is looking excellent. Has the potential to be great and outclass Wrestlemania.
