So when will the Shield reunite?

They're obviously building towards an Ambrose/Rollins reunion, but is it really likely that Roman will join them on a long-term basis? I could see them doing a match or two, but he's so ingrained in the main event title picture now, that I can't see a proper Shield reunion.

If it does happen, I reckon it'll be at a "big four" PPV, and the most logical now would be Survivor Series.

As much as I love Brock, and as much as I hate Reigns, I actually don't care if Reigns wins at Summerslam with the stipulation as it is. The sooner he's fed to Roman so that the sooner he can get away from him so I can enjoy watching him fight (whether it's in the WWE or UFC) again, the better.

If Lesnar leaves WWE, they need star power. The only guy who can replace him IMO is CM Punk (managed by Heyman)

So me thinks they are going for Rollins and Ambrose v Cesaro and Sheamus for tag team belt at summer slam?

Cena vs Nakamura on SD. Hopefully its given ample time. Shame its gonna be interrupted by ads.

I am so desperate for Nagata to finally pick up a win. I've been loving his past few matches.

He's sure to get a win against Fale, last night of the group against his old protege in his final G1? Perfect send off.

Spare a thought for my boy Cozy, he's getting the same booking without an obvious win coming and with no confirmation it's his last G1. It's crazy how these lads at 50 can still go like they do, and get you so invested in them, while the younger Togi Makabe keeps plodding along being dull but put in big positions because he's Japans version of Paul Hollywood.

Hopefully he beats Jinder for the title. If that does happen you know Corbin leaving Summerslam as champion

Yep, that was my prediction too. I think Corbin is cashing in on Nakamura and leaving Summerslam champ. Ayo

I guess trying to then build to a Nakamura Styles match for the title at Wrestlemania would be the best way to go.

I think Corbin will wait until Nakamura has weakened Kinder Mahal then run in and cause a DQ, then cash in his money in the bank on Mahal.

That way Nakamura won't have the shortest title reign and his debut title win can be saved for the next big event.

It's weird seeing Cena's career wind down. Been around for so long.

On a similar note, I randomly thought the other day about how we're going to get to the point where we watch WWE programming, and won't hear Michael Cole at all.

Whether that's a good thing or not is up for debate, but it's going to be surreal.

In other news, it looks like WWE are going with a "Woken" Hardy gimmick.

It'll be a brilliant thing. Sick of Michael "Oh my!" Cole.

Cole was brilliant in the UK tourny with Nigel tbh.

I do feel sorry for him at times cos he can be good and make good calls. But you can tell he has to juggle things to say thanks to Vince.

I don't think Corbin will win it off another heel, plus Jinder will need a rematch and I think people prefer Corbin to him so they might start cheering instead of booing.

Cole's not that bad really, he does a decent job of tying together a show that's way too long, and he has Booker T beside him. Corey Graves being constantly bemused by Booker T's ramblings might be my favourite thing about Raw.

Michael Cole is a brilliant commentator doing an impossible job. Give me that over MAMMA MIA any day.

On a more pertinent subject, that end to Kenny Omega vs EVIL was nauseating. Hell the whole match was tough after the table spot.

MAMMA MIA is one of the worst calls in wrestling history.

Havent seen Omega vs EVIL yet but read it was pretty crazy at the end? And not good crazy, crazy dangerous. Only a matter of time before the V Trigger knocked someone out cold.

Corey Graves some weeks is the best thing about RAW. Booker T I thankfully have managed to ignore after all these years of listening to his incoherent nonsense.

Cole does get some stick doesn't he? I think a lot of peoples issue with him is that he isn't Jim Ross and his heel run around 2011 soured him on a lot of people. Plus the constant shilling of Tout and all the other nonsense over the years with Vince in his ears.

He was very good on the UK show and when Vince wasn't producing him during the Attitude era and when Heyman was writing Smackdown. Plus he does a lot of the production work behind the scenes for NXT as well so he must have some idea of what he is doing.

Cole and Graves would be the ideal commentary team for Raw, and Phillips and a properly motivated JBL on Smackdown. Lose Byron and Booker. One is so bland he is painful and Booker was always dreadful on commentary.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they just went to the finish about five/ten minutes earlier than planned. Not sure how much of it was the V Trigger tbh, as I mentioned before when you watch he wasn't right after the table bump that went wrong, without knowing anything at all I'd say that he wasn't with it taking the V Trigger and both incidents on top of each other left him completely lifeless. It was genuinely scary watching the last minute or two, could see Red Shoes directing traffic to get it finished with so people could get in there and check up on him.

I have decided to watch every wwf/wwe ppv in order of release for no real reason.

Just finished 1985. Next up wrestlemania 2

WCW PPVs in general would be tough for me, I just have an image of dodgy wrestling and an obscene amount of litter on the floor and in the ring.

Jerry Lawler (yes, THE Jerry Lawler) will be facing Cody Rhodes for the ROH World Championship on the 25th of August. In 2017. Move over McGregor & Mayweather!

I am doing it while at work. Not got much better to do.

I will do my best not to skip any, 1995 will be a challenge.

As much shit as there was in 95 at least there weren't as many PPVs. Just wait until you get to the mid 2000s where they started adding more and the roster had some absolute dross on it. Throw in fatigue and I bet you'll really regret your decision then while you watch the likes of Heidenreich and Luther Reigns.

However you'll probably rediscover some amazing matches that you forgot, especially around the early 2000s.

I went through the nwo period a while back and that entire period gets way overrated. The storylines and promos may have been better back then(to an extent) but the wrestling can be absolutely horrendous. WCW at best had one and a half good years. From 98 onwards it was a shitshow.

That match was announced at the start of July and is neither for the ROH World championship nor does it have anything to do with ROH, it is an indie match for the Wrestling under the stars promotion.

Oh, I just saw it listed as such at r/squaredcircle. That he was defending both his ROH & NEW titles to be specific.

Lawler confirming the ROH title is on the line.
