Punk's run should have gone to Wrsetlemania and then it should have been a streak vs streak match against the Undertaker. Rock vs. Cena didnt need the WWE title to be a big deal.

Usos had to be Dq'd cos they were destroying New Day lol.

Punk, im not too sure if a return would have that much affect on ratings. WWE really did a number on him.

My favourite thing was when HHH just beats him... because.... and then the next night on Raw HHH looks at him and is basically 'dont make me take off my jacket otherwise ill kick your skinny fat ass again'. LOL. It served no purpose at all except petty revenge for being called the doufus son in law.

I know Lana and Tamina have teamed up but surely it will be either Charlotte or Becky, no one wants to see Lana vs Naomi again, with shenanigans from Tamina this time.

Also what the feck are they doing with Sami Zayn, he had some incredible spots in the MITB match and he gets put into a shite feud with the Kanellises as a reward.

I could see Charlotte winning to be honest but recently they've put so much limelight on Lana and Tamina that surely has to be for some reason?
 
If Jinder wins we get more of "you hate me because I'm Indian", if Randy wins we get more of his bland title reigns.

AJ or KO should be the next in the title picture, but I imagine Corbyn is probably next as he has the MITB.

I wonder if there is a way Corbyn could use the MITB to win the Punjabi Prison match.
 
If they want to reset things, it makes sense for Corbin to cash in but I think they'll keep the belt on Mahal for now to get that Indian Summerslam money.

12 for 12 with really good matches in the G1 so far, even Fale vs Makabe delivered which amazed me. SANADA came across like a megastar in both the LIJ vs LIJ match and his tournament match with EVIL. Yano had a super fun match with Okada too, the crowd getting behind Yano and booing Okada had me in stitches.

As for Ibushi's two matches so far. My god I missed him.
 
Watching Battleground before GoT starts. The tag title match to start the PPV was really good, but as expected from the men involved.
The superkick to Xavier from the splash was just fantastic.
 
Why are elimination matches always completely lacking logic? Why would anybody break up a pin or submission hold?

It's fecking dumb.

Yeah, the only way that makes sense is if somebody before the match goes in with the goal to eliminate everybody for some strange reason? Its like stopping somebody from being eliminated from the rumble even though they arent your partner.
 
If I bought a ticket to this, I'd want a partial refund for this main event. Can people even see into that stupid cage properly?
 
Before the match my friend told me as a joke that Great Khali will interfere in the match. And yeah, he actually interfered in the match:lol::lol:

The cage is a blessing for them. Who wants to see Orton vs Mahal for a 3rd time?!
 
It's insane how much talent they have on their roster that is going to waste.

I really hope none of them get fed up and start to want out.
 
I have a 35 minute bus journey to the main bus terminal followed by a second 10/15 minute bus after that to work. I managed to watch the main parts of the PPV in that time which is pretty dire.

Opening tag match was pretty good but as for the rest of the ppv..........jesus.

Corbin is terrible. No redeeming feature whatsoever. Nakamura hasn't got in to second gear yet (arguably the only time he has was his debut and that's because it was fresh).
Natalya v Naomi? No thanks.
Mike Kanellis losing? Way to go.
The ending of AJ v Owens was idiotic.

Im glad the Fashion X Files continue, they are probably the most enjoyable part of Smackdown for me.

And the main event.........
The amount of times the Singh brothers interfered in the match was beyond stupid, by the 5th or 6th time you could almost hear the irritation in the commentators voices as well. Wicked fall from one of them through the announce table, unfortunately telegraphed by the fact the announcers had cleared out well in advance and it just killed it for me. Obviously safety being an issue but it was just silly. I didn't really mind Khali returning-at least it will add to Jinders group and will be a nice variant on the Singh brothers interfering every few minutes. Would have thought that a basic choke like that though was well and truly banned.

Ortons having a particularly rubbish year isn't he? Looks well and truly unmotivated.
 
Wwe have totally killed smackdown. The whole draft thing was to make rae strong again. They took the hottest act of smackdown in miz and took him to raw.

Smackdown has become stale. They could have given the wwe championship opportunity to anyone, they should have kept the title on Bray wyatt. But they gave it Randy only for him to lose to Jinder Mahal who had zero build.
 
I can see Nakamura coasting it unless its a WM match or maybe even Summerslam if hes got a good opponent. Dont see him going full pelt if hes going to be dominated in 90% of the match anyway like he was against Ziggler or Corbin.

But yeah, SD has been boring since WM. JUst before that they had AJ, Cena, Bray near the top of the card. Now its Orton vs Mahal in the bore feud.
Not sure why they are having KO and AJ hot potatoing the US title.
Usos are one of the best things on SD and in terms of entertaining segments Breezango follow.
 
Apart from the obvious of Mahal retaining and Khali returning to make it the worst faction in recent memory, New Day winning the titles was one of the more pointless things to happen on the PPV. Their shtick got tired quite a while ago now and I don't see what benefit it serves.

Natalya in the womens title picture sounds like an absolute borefest too.

It was idiotic. AJ effectively pinned himself by doing a move he doesn't normally do. Makes him look like an idiot. All they needed to do was save the low blow from the Corbin/Nakamura match (Corbin can use the briefcase for the DQ same result) and after the ref bump in AJ/Owens just have Owens low blow AJ and roll him up with a handful of tights. Same results in both but doesn't make AJ look like a dope and at least gives you something to build on. Instead we get Owens pinned him clean and......? That's it? Oh yeah champion gets a rematch clause...yawn.

I imagine we will end up with a 2/3 falls match or some other gimmick between him and Owens either at Summerslam or between now and then on Smackdown.
 
They didnt show a replay and I didnt bother to check. Is it possible Owens shoulders were down to?


Also Owens saying hes elite, wink wink on Talking Smack made me laugh.

Edit watched the ending again Owens shoulders weren't down but AJ Styles right shoulder was up

The whole Lana and Tamina thing was for...? What purpose exactly? And why did Lana stop that elimination?

The Cena v Rusev match was a joke. Just stupid. Just grab the flag, run to entrance and stick it in like the first time you had sex you fecking Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime :mad:

The main event actually put me to sleep. Now I'm screwed tonight as I'll struggle to doze off :mad:
