Why is betting on wrestling even allowed, it's still baffling to me.

Yea, its less fixed than boxing and MMA :P

I still dont understand why they put the title on Brock. Hes a special attraction as it is. Why even do that? And the person to beat him will not even need it. So thats about 5 years worth of build to not even create new starts.

As its new title, i think its to build prestige.

By not having it or the champion appear at all?

No surprise the ratings keep on dropping given they are basically telling the audience that no show in the mean time really matters until the part-time main champion returns.

They might as well keep the belt on Lesnar until Wrestlemania now and build up to the match with Reigns. Everyone knows it's going to be the main event unless one of them gets injured so it makes sense to build it for months with Lesnar facing all challengers and beating them instead of half hearted title reigns with Balor and Rollins only holding the title until Lesnar wins it back approaching Wrestlemania.

Meh, you can bet on who killed who in Eastenders, what's the difference?

It's just more susceptible to leaks than most other things and unless you completely avoid seeing the odds, it takes away something from a PPV when there's clear inside information. I mean it's difficult to refuse bets on most things these days and there will still be leaks regardless so it's not really an issue, more of an inevitability with a few insiders benefitting.

Only match that interests me is the main event and the tag titles match.
Every other match is meh, raw stuff.

I should be excited about Neville vs Aries but this will be the third time within 2 months we would have seen it.
The mixed tag match, bleh. The womens title match has been built horribly. The IC title match stip makes no sense given the PPV and how it came about.

Theyve made Ambrose look like a total dork.
And somehow theyve managed to top that by making bayley look like a bigger dweeb.

Meh, turning this off. Can skip through it tomorrow.

Night with no surprises. Joe with lesner is interesting, was talking to mate of mine the other day, both agreed he doesnt really have a thing right now.

Was a great main event. Good action.

Such a shame that Finn is... just another guy.
Joe vs Brock is a match ive wanted to see for a while. But I would hate if its just another boring suplex city showcase before an f5. As a competitive match it could be awesome.

Yeah the main event was brilliant, I suppose you kind of expect that from 5 of the best wrestlers in the company, but they still had to work on the pacing and structure of the match. Some great spots like Rollins' frog splash through the announce table and the spear through the barricade. I think they could have given Samoa Joe a few minutes of dominating the match, but it was a good finish that sets up a match that could be the highlight of Lesnar's title run (if it lasts for months).

The rest of it was pretty dull to shite though, the steel cage match fell flat and Neville-Aries disappointed. I have no idea what they're doing with the Hardys, there doesn't seem to be a plan there at all.

People wanted Broken Matt and Brother Nero. Due to legal issues we're getting a bland nostalgia tour like the Dudleys a year or two ago.

So it turns out that Jericho/Owens at WM was supposed to be for the Universal title, with Jericho losing it to Brock at the following PPV. Vince changed his mind when Goldberg became an option.

These fckin part timers do my head in as a wrestling fan.

Id love to know how much they actually benefit WWE (both short term and long term).

This is exactly the shit WWE were saying was the cause of WCWs fall (documented in their Monday Night War Series). Baffling stuff.

Finn is just too small in Vince's eyes to be a legit main eventer. He'd be better off fighting in the cruiser weight division.

I hope that Joe destroys Lesnar. His part time championship run has massively shat on the title imo.

If Finn did not get injured then he probably would have main evented Mania this year.

Fact is he beat Roman on his first night on raw. If Vince didn't believe in him then he would never have allowed that to happen. He was the first Universal champion.

Joe and Lesnar is a more interesting match for me at this time if it isn't a suplex bore fest.

I get the feeling that Vince doesn't trust Finn after his injury issues.

It's s criminal how badly WWE's booking has been in recent years.

The Raw creative team should be fired and Vince should just fecking retire.

Even Vince knows how over Balor is with the crowd and his merchandise is everywhere, he'll get another title run.

To be fair it's not just Vince.

When you got one of Triple Hs friend Road Dogg saying that losses do not matter then it's a wider issue. Also Vince doesn't seem to go to Smackdown. The booking there in the past few weeks as hardly been great too.

Isnt Road Dogg now running Smackdown? hmmm.

But yeah, if Balor didnt get injured it would have been interesting to see how Raw would have been. Champion, with wins over Reigns and Seth. He essentially would have been top face on Raw (on the back of Reigns suspension).

I never quite get why the door is an option in cage matches, kind of defeats the whole point in escaping the cage.

Alexa Bliss and Bayley match was pointless and just seemed to make Bayley look like some random jobber.

Surprised by Neville getting a clean win, good match again between the 2.

Liked Bray Wyatt and Samoa Joe teaming up together, reckon they could be the new Natural Disasters. Joe might have to grow his beard a bit more though.

I've seen this a few times today and I don't think there's a conclusive answer, if Jeff had already escaped the cage then why did he need to be dragged out again? Does re-entering the cage mean needing to escape again, it's a strange one like.

I enjoyed the Neville Vs Aries match. Hopefully that now has a break and give someone else a chance.

The baylee match was a joke as was the mixed tag match.

The tag match made zero sense in terms of rules.

The Ambrose Miz fight was hindered due to the stipulation.

The main event was great and I'm glad my boy Joe got the win. The odds ruined it a bit though so maybe those should definitely be in spoilers. I was laughing out loud when Joe and Bray became the chuckle brothers smashing their opponents with that steel step

Something about both needing to be outside at the same time or something?
My only assumption. Not sure if it was said or not as I kinda zoned out of the commentary.

Whatevers left of the WWE universe given the recent ratings and attendances.

I didn't get it why Matt Hardy was trying to grab Sheamus whilst Cesaro was lying on the mat. He should have just let Sheamus go and then walked through the door.

The match doesn't make sense.

How bad has it been?

Raw ratings seem to keep going down and not really improving.
Problem with a 3 hour show, they can lose viewers but its hard to replace them with somebody willing to invest 3 hours to try it out.

Attendance varies according to reports (though just going based on that).

Also Bray is one of the biggest dweebs in WWE. Talk talk talk, and he loses. Same all the time.
Given what theyve done with Bayley, Zayn and Ambrose recently, Bray still stands out.
