Don't dick around during big coordinated events involving the boss....

I'm up for this. Can I suggest you start with top 10 feuds of all time?
It certainly wont make it to many top 10's, but a honourable mention for me:

CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy.

Its basically real life just at full volume. CM punk, the straightedge egomaniac vs Hardy, the recovering addict. The Wrestling matches too were great, and a world title feud to top it all of.

Loved that fued. To be fair ice been thinking of my 10 and there is a few in there that people may think are weird but its all personal opinion I suppose.

That was great. That spell in WWE was a really good one for Hardy, actually. Shame it couldn't last.

Its really relative to the person. I'm a sucker for feuds with great storyteling, and that makes the the fans invested in the feuds. Its much easier to have good, memorable matches from there on.

A lot of people will have different opinions on things such as this though. I have found that , especially with matches, that my opinion doesnt always match consensus. For example, Bret and Shawn's Ironman match does nothing for me.

Anyway, after thinking about this Titus stuff, anyone think it could be a bit of a work?

I suspect think there's more to that. He lost to Social Outkasts last RAW. Come on, who loses to them? And then immediately this. Don't think this is a work through. He seems to have pissed someone in the hierarchy and Vince might have reacted harshly post backstage discussions.

Tbh, I think PTP was not a bad gig at all. They were on a roll, then got trashed to make place for returning Dudelys. He always seems to get a pop out of the crowd.

Did Jeff Hardy actually learn how to wrestle during his second run? I saw they stuck the title on him which shocked the hell out of me seeing as he was never anything more than a spot monkey when I used to watch it.

I still find it strange that guys like the Hardy's, Edge etc won world titles as when I watched them they were tag team specialists. I didn't watch when they reached the top so all I really think of them as is tag team champions

Edge was a fantastic singles guy (especially as heel)

Hardy really should have been more. He won the title in a triple threat but was getting amazing reactions at the time. But only held it for a month (he was hardly on TV either when he was champ) and then lost it to Edge at Rumble to start a feud with his brother (who turned heel on him). I liked his second run but WWE seemed to put him on every show and house show and then when he became champ hardly used him (which would have been fine but he had such a short run with it initially).

Also Titus is fun, still not sure why they just ended PTP.

Edge had obvious talent, Christian's less so but you could tell he had something about him. It was Matt Hardy who was a surprise out of the four of them. You kinda knew he was the one carrying the Hardy Boyz, doing the grunt work while Jeff got the high spots but I always thought he would sink when they both went solo. Instead he became Matt Hardy V1.0 and really established himself on Smackdown. Those Matt facts were great, essentially creating memes for himself before memes were even a thing. Jeff on the other hand couldn't really wrestle without jumping off high things, was an awful talker, just really bland.

@Duffy what's the best way to do this? are we all going to name our top 10 feuds? or are we going to suggest a couple ea ch and throw it open to debate until we get a list to vote on?

I dont really think he learnt it during his second run, rather he just got more of a chance to show what he could.

Its quite difficult to display that wrestling skill in a division that at the time was just a spot fest. The matches themselves arent very long too, and the spotlight was shared with many others.

As a singles stars though, he was given good opportunities to test himself. If I recall correctly, he was even put up against the Undertaker and HHH in single matches on SD in consecutive weeks, and he won both. That usually gives you 15-20 min, so he really got to show what he could do.

The title wasnt really shocking at all though, as it was quite a long build to get him there, and he was the most over man in the company at the time. The thing with Jeff is that fans really liked him, and perhaps the fact that he had faults (drugs) and was working on it meant that people could relate to him. It led to the awesome segments when CM Punk was berating parents for allowing their kids to cheer Hardy(an abuser), while they booed him (a Straight-edge guy that would conventionally be the hero in such a case). He basically called them enablers. It was a great run at the time.

Think Darren Young was having some personal issues, saw it rumored it was mental health related. He tweeted end of November he was going through a rough time.

As for Titus, bit of a silly thing to be suspended over and i suspect if it was not caught on Camera he'd be fine. Seems like they were giving him a little bit of a mini push, had a run of single wins going and he seems to have become the de facto spokesperson for the company whilst John Cena is out.

Punk's UFC debut has been delayed again as he's having back surgery. Out for 4-6 weeks. Most likely be the end of the year if/when he makes his debut now..

Yeah stick a top 10 together. I'm having a think on mine, will post it shortly. Hopefully they should provide some good talking points.

In no particular order.

1) Shawn and HHH Vs. Hart Foundation
2) First Kane Vs Undertaker run
3) Stone Cold Vs Ministry/Corporate Ministry/Undertaker
4) NWO Vs WCW summer - Winter '96
5) NWO Vs The Rock

Will finish later.

I listened to an interview on YouTube where he claimed that at his heaviest when wrestling he was 240lbs. He never looked that to me. Surely that is a huge over exaggeration?

1. Stone Cold vs The Rock
2. Shawn Michaels vs Brett Hart
3. Stone Cold vs Vince McMahon
4. Mankind vs Undertaker
5. Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker.
6. Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho
7. Undertaker vs Kane
8. The Rock vs Mankind
9. The Rock vs Triple H
10. John Cena vs CM Punk

Triple H vs The Rock - 2000
Triple H vs Cactus Jack - 2000
Hardys vs Dudleys vs E&C - 99/00/01
Sasha Banks vs Bayley - 2015
Undertaker vs Kane - 1997/98

Will think of the rest and order them a little later on.

How I used to think of Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Davey Boy Smith.

Not really you forget just how big the WWE guys are. I'm currently 230lbs but I'm 5'6 and look stocky rather than a blob and punk is about 5ft 11 of what would have been lean muscle and the time he's talking about was in the indies. I've stood next to guys 3 stone lighter than me and they were bodybuilders who made me look small, yet next to CM Punk he'd dwarf them. I actually met Bret Hart once, and he was huge in physique yet when you saw him on telly he was dwarfed by the others.

I get what you're saying but even if CM Punk was 220 lbs that's big compared to most average guys. To put it in perspective Cena is billed around 250 which means he is probably in real life 240 (as WWE usually adds a few pounds). I've never seen Punk look anywhere near that....even in the Indies

Man, Corbin is getting better every week now. Not enough Rawley bashing from Graves though :(

Alexa Bliss has the look and behaviour of that one girl in Highschool who always picked on you, yet you still wanted to bang, if only out of spite and hatred.

Found it a bit hard to get into the main event. Somehow, Carmella was never really built as a legitimate contender to Bayley, so the only one that kept me watching was the suspence of a heel turn/interruption from others.

oh i do believe they billed him as bigger than he was but also thats nearly a 2 stone difference which in muscle mass is a huge thing in 2 guys with only 3 inches difference in height.

From the interview it seemed to me that Punk was suggesting his real peak weight was 240lbs not billed. I just can't imagine him ever being that at all

Dont forget he was a skinny fatass. So whilst lean and skinny, all his weight was probably in his butt...

Also it looks like the rumours / reports of Bryan handing in his notice and it being turned down is probably false/ makes no sense (im sure somebody posted it here) especially given what he said on the ESPN special.

Remember when the world and it's sister completely lost their shit when HHH called him that.
