Who will The Rock face at WM 32, as it won't be HHH, looking like Brock v Wyatt, don't think they will have The Rock v Cena 3, which only leaves The Undertaker as the biggest draw left, it's in the dead mans state of Texas, and would sell out any stadium world wide, WM 32 Main Event The Rock v The Undertaker. Make it happen

Rock vs Taker would be strange. Hard to see where they could start a rivalry between them.

After last night we might get Usos & Rock vs New Day.

Yep huge endorsement. Looking forward to s2 and how Rey plays into it.

AJ isn't ever going to amount to anything in the WWE.

He's far too small. Jericho looked much bigger than him, and he's not a large man at all.

The best thing they could do is get him involved in mid card feuds with Owens, Cesaro, Neville etc. Indie style workers.

I have the strangest feeling HHH is going to retain at Mania, and it'll be Balor w/ Bullet Club/Balor Club that take it from him and the authority.

Reigns will win at Fastlane by pinning Ambrose planting further seeds in that.

It would nearly make me stop watching WWE. Utter stupidity!

How? Most over heel beating a over pushed babyface who clearly isn't getting the reaction they desire?

Reigns doesn't have the talent Cena has to deal with a mixed reaction.

He WAS over pushed, then they got it just right and now screwed it up again.

Oh, I don't get the criticisms at all. One of the best performers in recent months, many good matches after last Rumble and not everyone can be a talker like Cena. He's perfectly fine in short segments. Almost always gets a pop in Rumble lead up months. Screwed by Rollins, screwed by Sheamus, screwed by LoN and Vince and HHH he has been the underdog for quite sometime now...I see no parallels to Cena-lite!
You need to be able to talk though to be the undisputed face of the Company.

Unless you are an amazing wrestler like Bret(and even his stay wasnt long).

That's the Cena-Litism though. Roman Reigns has an unbelievable win record, that its just as silly as potraying him as the underdog.

But the most damning thing for me, is that Vince will push him even though the crowds dont want him as the main guy. Yet, Vince doesnt understand why he needs to bring in attitude era guys to save Mania each year.

It's not that they (the E) cant build stars, its that they want to build stars no one wants.

Roman can be a decent upper midcarder/ semi main eventer, but 'the' guy...no.

Come on, apart from both Rumbles, Reigns has been regularly getting a pop out of the crowd. Creative never did learn the lesson from last and made the same mistake again. Months of very good matches down the drain in one PPV. I certainly don't see the 'crowds don't want him' based on a single PPV and ignoring all matches before. I would put it more on Creative mishandling and not on Reigns ability. The Authority has been stale for quite some time and that feud is taking it's drag on Reigns too.

Feeling i have unfortunately, i'm surprised they've not given him a mic yet... probably scared he'll get himself over really quickly.

They brought him in for the first PPV since the WWE network went on in Japan.

I think he'll get himself over like Bryan does, but just being a very good Wrestler. Whether WWE do something with that... who knows.

AJ and Finn are about the same height. If anything AJ is bulkier so this is a really weird thing to say.

Why do they call it the universe?

Steph is obsessed with branding and marketing terms. It's why everyone has to say things that no human being would ever say.

You watch that Rumble and tell me Roman was booked as a face and Trips was booked as a heel.

The whole "size" thing is ridiculous now. Daniel Bryan had Batista, Orton AND Triple H put him over on the same night. The biggest night of the year as well. They put Rollins who isn't a big guy over Lesner

 Right... HHH was booked as a face for it? He came out, and won it by eliminating the most over babyface they currently have in Dean Ambrose. They showed at points I think it was him and Sheamus teaming on Reigns & Ambrose.

Balor is bigger than styles, and a much better fit to the the WWE.

@Stobzilla They didn't want Bryan in that spot, the fans forced him into it. When did Rollins go over Lesnar? Rollins will never go over Brock clean.

Well he's sorta right... especially about HHH working the rumble as a face (even though he obviously is meant to be a heel). He came out to his "Time to play the game" music, after a month or so off TV (thus ensuring a big reaction)... the first thing he did was hit the Pedigree on someone to show how tough/strong he is (another big reaction) he had loads of exciting near elimination but saving himself (almost HBKesque) which again generate favourably reactions... and everyone he eliminated, he did so in a fair manner - including both Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose.

There was nothing heelish whatsoever about HHH in the Rumble.

Roman on the other hand got to take a break for most of the Rumble... I realise they're going for a couragess return into the match kinda thing, but when you see Ambrose and Owens kill each other earlier in the night and they're both out there giving it their all, it kinda loses its impact.

I tell you what also didn't help, the fact that we saw him walk out... so it looked like he chose to leave the Rumble... when again, we've seen people in the past be in the Rumble regardless of injury.

If he had been stretchered out and then come back in that would have been slightly better at least.

Aye, he was walking out and yet took him an eternity to return to the ring. It was a pretty shit idea to make his stay from first to (almost) last more plausible, but it had the opposite effect.

Well everyone's already made the points I was going for with Trips the face vs Roman the heel. It was black and white booking. Trips didn't cheat or use any underhanded tricks, he entered the Rumble legally, eliminated several people legally, and won legally where Roman sat out most of the match akin to Vince in '99 which is a pure heel move.

Styles is definitely bigger than Balor, height wise they're pretty much exactly the same though. Don't be fooled by AJ working bigger people than Finn has.

Absolutely, ffs, Owens looked in worse shape going into the Rumble than Reigns did fecking off.

Apparently Tyler Breeze lost to Mark Henry......on a Smackdown pre show match( dark match)...talk about burying a guy.

Meh, dark matches are non canon, heels always lose, regardless of stature. Seth lost loads while he was champ.

In other news Nikki is having surgery today that could be career ending. Would be a real shame if she's fecked after carrying the division for so long.

Forget 99, Miz did it in the same rumble by going onto commentary.
The booking of Reigns (moreso) and HHH in that rumble was odd and you could see it by the reactions. and as has been said, ruined weeks / months of work getting Reigns to the top as champ with Philly cheering it and chanting "Thank you Roman".

Stuff about Tyler Breeze has me wondering... how would you go about booking NXT's two biggest stars (Balor and Bayley) on the main roster to maximise their potential?

I guess Balor's a bit easier... you just bring him in with the Bullet Club and give them Shield booking. Alternatively, I think bringing him in as the demon and putting him up against Taker immediately would establish him as a big deal (Still think the biggest reason that Owens has worked so well on the main roster is that he started off against Cena).

Bayley's a harder challenge... I think there she has to debut in front of the right crowd... probably the night after Mania would be the best time to do it, especially if Sasha wins the belt at Mania.

For Bayley it depends how soon they want to move her up to the main roster. Personally I'd have no problem with them waiting until this time next year but that's wishful thinking really on my part. The dream scenario is her showing up around the Rumble this time next year and then building to a Wrestlemania match with Sasha. They've done it big already, the next level is Wrestlemania, it's the money match.

The issue is I'm not sure they'll wait that long though. On that basis I wouldn't disagree that they might even bring her up not long after Wrestlemania. I'd really rather they have Bayley/Sasha at one of the big shows though. They could always have Sasha get a win over Bayley to retain the title (granted Sasha wins it soon) and then slowly build to Bayley building herself back up and getting a shot at one of the big shows.

I wouldn't put it past them to completely feck up what's IMO one of the best rivalries and stories the company has had in a long time though once Bayley comes up to the main roster. I'll hold out hope though, Bayley is money for them so hopefully they don't feck it up.

If Sasha wins the title at Mania I could see Bayley heading up post-Mania to fued with her. Can also see Finn stepping up post-Mania (both losing their titles at Takeover) but not sure how I'd play Finn.

Brock Lesnar will fight Bray Wyatt at Wrestlemania.

Why not just have The Rock vs Gangrel while we're at it?

What a waste

Yeah, waiting until next year would be ideal... it would let the Main roster women grow more, it would find some time to find a viable successor to Bayley in NXT, and it would let Sasha have time with the belt (I'd have her win it at Mania and run through everyone for most of the year) so that when Bayley arrives to take it off her its a big deal.

HHH beating Orton and Sheamus was madness given the stories they were telling.

Beating Sting and Brock was pure ego. "I defeated WCW and am better than the ex UFC Champ".
