Pitying The Rock  Stop it, just stop it  The gimmick has gone on too long.

Reigns will win at Fastlane, I think the Wyatts will cost Lesnar the match. Interesting to see Ambrose in the main event, the IC title is hot at the moment they could have built on the Owens fuede straight through till WM for me.

I don't know what they plan for the Wyatt's, they will probably feck with Broc for 2 months (Bray probably won't even be on the Fastlane card) then get thrashed at Mania before dropping the story shortly after, meh just seems like a waste.

So what happened at the end of RAW last night? My Satellite signal went and I missed the last 5 minutes.

Reigns & Ambrose beat Sheamus & Rusev.

Stephanie came out and said main event of Fastlane is Roman v Ambrose v Lesnar for #1 Contender.

He's an embarrassment. What about the way he speaks is acceptable in 2016? The outright misogyny? The homophobia?

Hell if Rock can talk like that maybe Ric Flair should talk about the New Day the way he talked about Rocky King.

What did the Rock say that was homophobic?

Poor Rock, I pity him too. This kid has no future. His stuff will never get over with the masses.

If Ambrose is in the title feud for the next month or so, why didn't they have him drop the IC title back to KO. No one is going to buy him as a credible threat if he has another title. Would have also built more tension last night when it was just him and HHH at the end.

Also glad Becky Lynch wasn't just tossed aside and it's looking like it's going to be a triple threat for the divas title.

What did Rock say that was homophobic? I see him calling Big E a 'she' but homophobic?

Poor Dixie sitting on the couch crying while watching RAW.

Dude you need to relax a little and just enjoy things :D

He's a throwback from a age where wrestling was actually entertaining and not the PG merchandise selling gimmick it mostly is now. The reason he's do popular is that he doesn't strictly comply with the PC age of today and in small doses, not actually that bad.. Considering his character history.

The Rock was fine last night, some childish "dick" jokes and a few slight stereotypes, nothing offensive and certainly nothing bad, and you can tell it's all done with humour and no malice intended. Completely opposite to some of the other stuff WWE get away with such as the extremely racist stuff Zeb used to come out with, or Jerry The King Lawler talking about voting for UKIP because a London cabby told him that the UK was being overrun with Muslims and Polish people. Feck my life, that was offensive, and everyone knows you never listen to a feckin word a London cab driver has to say.

Also, The Rock and New Day was probably one of the funniest and best promos I have seen for a long time and you can tell the crowd absolutely loved it.

Agreed 100%
It was one funny hell of a segment.

In fact, that whole Raw was really strong. I really enjoyed it, bar maybe one or two segments.

The main event for FastLane interests me a lot as well. They could really put the works in by having Ambrose defend his IC title earlier in the night (hence tired), Wyatts cost Brock (hence WM match) and thus Reigns wins. (I could see it being something like that).

On the contrary, yesterday had a very nice acceptance moment from R-Truth with Goldust.

I mean, if anything the Rock loves cock... he constantly talks about it!

I may need to rewatch it, but I can't remember anything he said to be remotely homophobic... to criticise the bloke for things that aren't even true is odd.

Yeah, all in all it was pretty funny. The only thing I disliked was the interaction with Lana, thought that one was a bit harsh and unfair on her.

The highlights were New Day related for me though... first was Big E just saying over and over again "You can't say penises on TV" and then when they were walking back up the ramp, Kofi saying "What Plan B? A contraceptive?"

I genuinely think Kofi has as much charisma as anyone on the main roster right now.

Agreed. Creative has a talent for ruining careers. Lana could have been a scheming manager but has now been reduced to a play doll.

Thought the New Day had a great line in Rock making money and moving to California. No comebacks from Rock on that

I think he was trying hard not to burst out laughing. Great stuff.

Then again we should pity him... :(

Who said you should pity him? I said I'm starting to. He's an incredible talker who's doing his talent no justice by talking like a 90's 8 year old while in his 40's, which I personally find utterly cringeworthy.

Then again I'm a human being with my own personal opinions, or as they're apparently called, "a gimmick"

The thing is he was a non-entity in the match. A longer Wyatt beat up of Lesnar might have developed into a feud, or more of Zayn vs KO, or more of Kofi would all have been more memorable for this match.

The plot makes it prime for Roman to be boo'd. He was pushed as a superman and got boo'd last time. He won his way back with gritty matches and now they repeat the same mistake where he vanishes and suddenly comes back and clears the ring. Fans respect a good fight more than the fighter.
Reigns is being overpushed, and he's not very good in terms of the intangibles .

He no sells, cant cut a promo and those weird facial expressions. They are better alternatives to him, the backlash comes from the fact that Vince cant see that and wants to create a Cena-lite

Tbh, I didn't much like that bit, or the bit with Big Show which was mostly just incredibly strange. Started well with the Miz, and everything from the gorilla position on was good to excellent, though. New Day were still the best though.

The problem with Jericho is that he's predictable. He comes back, gets the odd win or so to not lose his standing, puts over a few younger talents, then disappears. It's mindless fun but it's mindless fun again and again. He should probably appear less often, and/or talk more (and wrestle less). He's better on the microphone than most of the talent today, anyway.
He's important for something like last night.

He's a 6 time world champion that can easily put others over.

Yes, he's declined massively. But I respect that .

He WAS over pushed, then they got it just right and now screwed it up again.

Oh, I don't get the criticisms at all. One of the best performers in recent months, many good matches after last Rumble and not everyone can be a talker like Cena. He's perfectly fine in short segments. Almost always gets a pop in Rumble lead up months. Screwed by Rollins, screwed by Sheamus, screwed by LoN and Vince and HHH he has been the underdog for quite sometime now...I see no parallels to Cena-lite!

I'm fairly sure Big E said "I got the snip." as well during that.

Brutus beefcake and Virgil doing an AMA on reddit. Apparently this wasn't a joke and the kid didn't get the cash. Harsh!

"You look like you could do with a lot more money" - wouldn't get away with that today

They were proper heels back in those days, there'd be outrage if he done that kind of stunt today.

Apparently, the WWF used to give him "flash money" too, to do shit like go into a gas station and buy a pack of chewing gum with a 100 dollar bill and leave the change.

Sasha making that little girl cry during the ironman match was easily the heel moment of the year last year.
