Did he just throw a dummy out of the ring?
Dummy?
The only outside spot is YOSHIHIKO's terrifying, death defying suicide dive.

If you want to cancel the network but don't want to miss mania, I can hook you up with something if you promise not to abuse it.If I cancel the network today, when will I lose it
I want to watch wmania, but I won't be watching it live and will try and watch in over mon/Tuesday following it
I've heard people talking about ECIII for ages and didn't realise it was Derrick Bateman. Is he actually any good over there?

So, watching some classic Mania matches before the big event each year reminds me of how Savage/Steamboat is the most overrated match of all time.
Thank you! I just do not get why it is so overrated by people. Half the match is just Savage throwing steamboat to the outside.I watched that for the first time recently. Came out of it like "...ok, that was good, but...greatest ever?"

Meh, you're judging 1987 by 2015 standards.
Totally agree, doesn't matter about eras, it's an average match (great for the era) that has become a monster all of its own for God knows what reason.I don't think that's the case though, at least for me, because I went and watched the Flair/Steamboat matches as well (from 1989), and I thought they were fantastic. I also watched the Razor Ramon/Shawn Michaels ladder match after having watched the likes of the Hardyz/Dudleyz/E&C matches, MITB, and that insane one in WCW featuring the Jung Dragons and 3 Count, and that was still entertaining.

Great for the era isn't saying much a d it's not really good today, it's average at best. I get the impact it had but it just is not that good, people call it possibly the greatest ever wrestlemania match. I could probably name 30 I'd consider better. I just do not get the hype.I think it certainly stands up to Ramon/Michaels, which also had the help of a gimmick. As I mention Steamboat Flair is something I keep meaning to watch and not getting round to.
Well you've kinda just completely degraded your own point, it's great for its era, and it's still really good today, and that's the point. Look at the majority of wrestlers of today, they'll have been what, 10 at the time? A match like that which was really good and showed that wrestling didn't have to be two massively oversized lads bumping into each other repeatedly before a bodyslam and a leg drop obviously had a HUGE bearing on how they view wrestling. That's why it's viewed as it is.
In 20 years there's every chance people will have the same discussion about Cena vs Punk from MitB '11, which for me is one of the all time great matches, but stuff like that may be commonplace then.
Anyone hear Rey Mysterio killed someone in the ring over the weekend?

Didn't he die from a blow to the head after a wrestling bout with him over the weekend?Completely inaccurate and incredibly libelous.
Really good today comes from watching it this morning and really enjoying it, that's my opinion. I don't think it is an all time great but it's above an average match, and by quite some distance, that's all.
The influence factor is what's important to remember.

Spot on about what Mojo said.Completely inaccurate and incredibly libelous.

Go for it either way. 23 was the first I watched live and haven't missed one since. Last few years (as we will be doing this year) me and my best mate get some ribs/wings in, plenty of beer and get Mania on the projector screen. Looking forward to Sunday.Potentially the first Mania I might not be able to watch live in feck knows how many years. Got to be up for work at half 6. Contemplating calling in sick on the Monday, might be able to pull it off. Unless I pull an all nighter and turn up at work completely fecked
What the iron man match? i need to rewatch now, but i think i strongly disagree.Meh, you're judging 1987 by 2015 standards. It's a ridiculously large amount better than any other match from that era (which has just reminded me I really need to watch Flair Steamboat, which I always mean to watch but never get round to).
Just look at the main event from the same show, and it's a no contest.
EDIT: in fact, I'll go one further. Bret vs Shawn is raved about but is MUCH worse.
