Wrestlemania tickets have soared since the decision was made to deliver them by airmail.
Not true, i bought a ticket and sold it as soon as i realised that you weren't in that match.Mania ticket sales have soared since it was announced I will not be in the 30 man Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Fecking disgrace is what it is.Not true, i bought a ticket and sold it as soon as i realised that you weren't in that match.
Good, If I had a dime for every time I cared about DeMott I would have 0 dimes, and.....you....can't.....teach.....thatBill DeMott has stepped down from his role with the company. In the JR sense.
Lesnar announced for Raw...I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict a Rollins cash-in throwing WM plans into wakco!
That would make no sense surely.Lesnar announced for Raw...I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict a Rollins cash-in throwing WM plans into wakco!
Not sure why vince has such a hard on for him
Connor the Crusher being announced in the HoF tonight.
Me when they do the induction:
Anyone watch TNA or any smaller, indie promotions?
Can't stand WWE. What kind of wrestling show censors all the decent moves? What's even the point in watching that?

That Heyman promo was awesome. Loved the line about unifying the WWE/UFC belts too. He's the only hope at making the match seem worthwhile.
Can't say specifically, was watching it a while back and every time there was a decent throw or landing the camera quickly cut away. Could have been because it was in the morning I guess, but still fecking stupid. Would be like watching an action flick without the explosions.Such as?
Outside of WWE, I mainly watch New Japan, I watch PWG whenever I get a chance too. Weekly shows I usually watch Lucha Underground (I am a week behind though, mainly because I REALLY don't want to see what happens with Big Ryck vs Sexy Star), I'll watch anything that stands out on the ROH weekly show, and New Japan on AXS if it's getting rave reviews and I feel like watching the match back (which given that I've watched 2 episodes isn't that often). As for weekly shows though NXT blows them all out of the water.
I've only been watching for like a year and a half, they went through a crappy patch while they were on the road, but now they've stopped that it's got pretty good again imo, just think they need a slightly bigger roster.I don't like TNA, and haven't watched them (bar one episode) since 2012. I used to watch CHIKARA, but their break and subsequent storyline did nothing for me (although I am going to a live show in April). I'll watch NJPW or ROH when there's a big show on and I fancy watching something, but that's pretty rare.
I only really watch WWE PPVs at the moment. I'm just down on wrestling overall, really.

Sleeper holds with the lifting of the arm is another one. It really steadied the pace of a match and again worked into fatigue. We still have rest holds but a sleeper was an offensive move, trying to win the match. What happened to these things in the WWE?
1. During a long invested bout, not only do the wrestlers get tired, but the referee gets hurt, and at the end of it crawls across the ring slowly to make a very slow..............1....................2.......................3. This actually gave a legitimate reason for people to kick out of big finishers and amped the suspense up to 100%
2. With both wrestlers showing immense fatigue, finally one of the wrestlers hits their finishing move from nowhere, but only has enough energy to crawl on top of his opponent and drape an arm.
Nowadays, there's almost no ring psychology. Even in the infamous indy scene, there's lacking this element that was so prevailing during the 80's/90's of US wrestling.

Hate it when wrestlers just trade off big moves, get two counts, then pop right back up for the next thing. A few indies take it to stupid levels.
Although the no-sell can actually work well in rare occasions. Forget who it was, but some guy in NJPW took a German Suplex, and just got straight back up all "RAAAAAAAAAAAARGH" - it actually looked really cool then.
I'm surprised that nobody uses a "sleeper" as a finisher nowadays, seeing as loads of Mma fights are decided by rear naked choke and the audience now know it's a legit finish.
There's a few, cool looking submission fairly commonly used in MMA which are hardly ever used in pro wrestling. Why does nobody use a triangle Choke?
