Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

How on Earth has David Otunga still got a contract?

He's a fantastic ambassador. Add in the fact that he's a fantastic lawyer and there's a tonne of ways they can use him. He's of great value to them.

Probably his wife.

Tbh, it depends on how he gets on with the powers that be. Eve Torres is still on contract, albeit an "ambassador" one, mostly because she's mates with Stephanie. They still pay Mean Gene and the Fink a weekly wage, then there's the likes of Bill DeMott, who was always shit, not really well known, and apparently sucks as a trainer, but they keep him around fuck knows why.

Then they feck off so many grapplers of real talent.

DeMott is actually a very good trainer of beginners, the only issue with him is he can be overly rough with them. DeMott does little with the talent by the time they're getting to tv (hence the last Metsfan scoop being so ridiculous).

The ambassadorial and legends contracts are really low pay anyway and largely appearance based, so they're a tiny thing in money sense. No one is getting sacked so that the nWo can hold a birthday party for the Hulkster.

Well yeah but so are everybodies wives who are rich and famous. She doesn't have anything to do with WWE though?

She isn't famous for just being his wife though, she's famous for being an actor and a singer. I'll admit to never having heard her music, or seen any of her films, but she's won enough awards for it to suggest that she's pretty famous without Otunga. WWE probably want him around so when he goes to these award ceremonies they can mention it and pretend they're relevant by proxy, or something.

Great news, ladder match at Mania for the first time in 5 years...it's been too long.

Also, if you'd told me 6 months ago we would see Bryan go for the IC tirltle and Dena the US I'd have assumed you were mental.

Latest NXT is quite good. Nothing spectacular in terms of matches, but storylines are moved along nicely.

Rhyno had a promo which was quite funny, as it was like "they're making me say words and all I want to do is run into people :("

I like them bringing back past stars who can have good matches. Always liked The Brian Kendrick.

So, they're going to add Bryan to the IC bout then? well that'll make it a better match but so much more predictable. Now I know there's no chance anyone else is going to walk out of there as IC champ. Was looking forward to them handing the strap to Ambrose too.... shame.

It's only predictable if you think they will give it to Bryan. I'm hopeful they won't be that obvious. I'd love to see Ambrose as champ and I also think it's about time the Big Guy was given a title shot. Ryback has improved so much recently, he connects well with the crowd now and he comes across as a funny and intelligent man, completely opposite as you might think on first appearance.

I don't think Bryan will win it. The build has been around Ambrose, plus he needs a big PPV win. I think he will get it.

Ambrose was supposed to win the IC belt at fast lane. It was changed at the last minute to give Ambrose his wrestlemania moment.

Well seeing as it's being discusse, what are people's predicted final WM card?

Mine is,

Pre show - Golddust vs Stardust

Rollins vs Orton

Miz vs Mizdow

Ladder Match

Sheamus vs Bryan

Battle Royale

Cena vs Rusev

Wyatt vs Undertaker

HHH vs Sting

Nikki vs Brie vs Paige

Lesnar vs Reigns

If I'm correct seems like a pretty stacked card.

I think Bryan and Sheamus will both be in the ladder match.

Miz is in the Andre the Giant Battle Royale. Not sure he'll have a singles match as well...possible though. Maybe on the pre-show.

I think Bryan and Sheamus will both be in the ladder match.

I was going to say if time looks a little tight I can see them entered in the ladder match and something will set off their feud for post Mania. Most likely Sheamus costing Bryan the belt.

I'll be hugely disappointed of they don't give Mizdow his Mania moment. He made that gimmick and deserves recognition for it. As far as I'm concerned he was being buried pre Mizdow and he's surprised the higher ups with his performance and rescued his career as a decent mid carder.

Tag titles will probably be defended on the pre-show.

Good point. Completely forgot the tag titles, much like WWE. I reckon there could be 3 matches on the pre show with all those then appearing in the Battle Royale.

Golddust vs Stardust
Miz vs Mizdow
Brass Rings vs Usos vs Ascension vs PTP

A pretty stacked pre show if I'm right.

A few weeks a go people were worrying about the quality of the card but looking now they may have too many matches to have them all at Mania.

As noted, a business disagreement between Brock Lesnar and Vince McMahon, during last week’s WWE Raw taping, lead to Lesnar walking out before the conclusion of the show.

According to The Wrestling Observer, it remains unclear what Vince and Lesnar were exactly arguing about, but the argument reportedly got very loud and heated. So much so, that the two were “yelling and screaming” at each other loud enough to the point where people were concerned, mainly for Vince.

On Tuesday, prior to the Smackdown tapings, officials were asking Vince if a back-up plan was needed for the WrestleMania 31 main event, but Vince assured everyone that would be unnecessary, and Brock would fulfill his contractual obligations. Vince reportedly added the company would sue Lesnar for breach of contract if he didn’t show up at ‘Mania, and officials remain confident in current PPV main event plans.

Argument Between Brock Lesnar & Vince McMahon Said to Be “Loud & Heated”

I'd like to know which idiots were concerned for Bork.

I want bitchy, snide comments indirectly about AJ or a 60 minute Iron-Woman Diva's title match between Nikki and Paige.

There can be no middle-ground.

Vince would have most of the locker-room one on one I reckon.

This threads got hilarious all of a sudden

On a seperate note...Paige.

Of all the boring gimmicks, I think Sheamus' is the most mind-numbing. Turn him heel, have him batter Bryan silly for few weeks and it could get interesting.

As for Lesnar, he's obviously on his way back to the UFC (where the heavyweight division is pretty shite) and everyone thinks he is going to do the job for the chosen one at Wrestlemania. I would have him beat Reigns only for Rollins to cash in and take the title.

Serves no purpose. As much as Reigns really isn't ready for this, to have Lesnar beat him and then get beat by Rollins would bury Reigns completely. You go out, you do so like a who're, on your back shoulders down and legs up.

Getting beaten by Brock isn't getting buried. Losing a match everyone knows he is going to win would get him some sympathy from fans and set up a program with Rollins.

It also lets Brock leave without having to drop the title clean to a relative jabroni like Reigns.
