Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

This Mania doesn't look great on paper at all...

Brock vs. Regins? Regins hasn't been booked well enough to be credible for me (we'll see how they go in the next 5 weeks) - but regardless of that, he's not solid enough in-ring to be good enough to a) work with Brock and b) headline Mania... happy to be proved wrong on all accounts, but I don't see it.

Rusev vs. Cena? Just saw that, I'm automatically less interested in a rematch the next month... Taker vs. Wyatt will be a poor match - both men (especially Wyatt) need the right opponent to get a good match out of, and it isn't each other. This should have been Bryan's spot.

Sting vs. HHH? Sort of care about, but again, I can see this being more HHH vs. Lesnar than HHH vs. HBK...

Orton vs. Rollins will be a good match, but it's totally lost in the shuffle... as will whatever match Bryan is in.

Seriously, on Raw they should have Reigns come out. Big Show interrupts talking trash and challenge Reigns and Reigns destroys him and beats him in 2 minutes.
Then a week later destroys Kane in 2 minutes. Total destruction of both of them. No nonsense ass kicker kinda like Brock (arrive, destroy, leave).
Then they have like three weeks left to do stuff with Brock (contract signing, face to face interview (should be backstage like it was on the cancelled Raw), then a final in ring segment before a brawl tease.

32 is in Cowboys Stadium in Dallas Texas. It can hold up to 100k people, Texas is home state for Undertaker, Austin! :D

I think they will really have to go big for that one, it will probably be a great event.

That will be fantastic if they can get 100k. They would if they did it at Wembley Stadium :D

I was thinking a Rollins turn also, but he's doing rather well as a heel currently. Either way, it's been nearly a year since the Shield split so I think one of them is due a turn soon.

If done the right way ,a double turn can be fantastic and fun to watch.
THe last double turn I liked was Del Rio/Ziggler but the follow up was terrible (as to be expected) especially when comparing to Austin/hart.

Rollins has improved massively on the mic. His moveset (and what he showed in NXT) can easily make him a face as long as he doesnt change his character / become a "tag hands of fans and smile" face.

I like him but that Cena feud and beginning of Jericho feud killed all his momentum. Then his return was bleh because it ruined a good main event.

Also Ambrose is like 0-10 on PPVs since the Shield split up. And yesterday was Kanes first PPV win in years lol

I guess so. From my perspective when I watched it as a child however, if Stone Cold was getting screwed out of the title every month for example, I would absolutely love it.

The difference is the age groups. The kids love the product right now too. It's the adults who read the dirt sheets, who grew up with certain eras, that know what a technical wrestler looks like compared to a clunky mover that don't.

How? What does he actually go on about? I didnt get his problem with any of his rivals either
That's the problem with a lot of it nowadays, nobody has a reason for 90% of what they do. It makes it hard to invest in characters.

Macho Man or not, Rikishi and The Bushwackers make this years HOF a joke.

Rikishi doesn't you combatdragon wanker

Cena seems to have lost a lot of PPV matches recently. Has anyone got any stats on his PPV record over the last few years?

So, on GTA with the Crew, someone said Paige has done "erotic" wrestling of some kind. Where would one go about locating this?

The fecking Bushwhackers? Is one of them about to die?

Here's some tag teams not in the hall of fame:

The Hart Foundation.
The Rockers.
Demolition.
British Bulldogs
The Steiner Bros
The Dudleys
Edge and the other one
The Hardys
And many more.

Wonder how often we're going to see Lesnar in the build-up to Wrestlemania? The contract signing will mean at least once.

Thankfully Heyman is around, otherwise the promos between those two would be catastrophic.

Feck all them.

You're missing the real tag team.

Too Cool! It'd be perfect with Rikishi already on the way in.

Am postponing some Uni work to watch RAW. Better not be a waste of a show.

Raw crowd already seems better than the PPV crowd which is a bonus.

Edit: Orton just said theres not going to be a 20 minute promo.

Which will lead to a 20 minute promo to start Raw haha

Fans are most definitely not happy if he's being screwed over. Fans complain he's being screwed over even when he isn't so god forbid he actually gets screwed over.

There was an interesting interview I found recently from a year ago where HHH put over Bryan as being one of the best he's worked with and really wanted to put him over right but they had to wait for the big moment and not the shitty 3 or 4 lesser PPV's that everybody cried out for him to be champion at.

Even though it was scheduled to be HHH vs Punk and Bryan vs Sheamus until late January?

TBH, Bryan would be afterthought if WWE had their way - and the fans hadnt made a ruckus (and Punk hadnt walked away).

And yet HHH himself talked about how he wanted to do it on the grandest stage.

Bryan did a podcast about a month a go where he confirmed he was scheduled to face Sheamus and the fan reaction at the Rumble and Punk's departure made creative change plans.

Allegedly. It was rumoured for almost the entire year beforehand that Bryan was going to win at WM.

Bryan said he was not going to win the title and would be pretty much facing Sheamus.
Punk himself said the plan was for him to face HHH and beat him as a reward for losing to Rock, Taker and Brock lol

Bryan would not be where he is without the fans. They are the reason he got rehired, they are the reason he got so much TV time after losing to Sheamus so quickly, they are the reason he turned face so quickly when he joined Wyatts, they are the reason he won the title last year. They are the reason he faced Reigns the PPV that went by.

So, this could be an interesting few weeks with Brock throwing a strop and walking out of Raw yesterday. Considering how the show itself went they seem pretty confident they'll sort it but still, maybe Brock will end up teaching Punk a lesson when he splits with the WWE title.

As an aside, the treatment of the women on Raw last night was pathetic. Great to see that #GiveDivasAChance was still trending worldwide this morning. It was especially pathetic after Steph was talking in support of Patty Arquette yesterday.

Hopefully that will mean Brock will return to ufc.

Frank Mir won his fight on Sunday and called Brock out to complete the trilogy. It makes lots of sense
