Just as I mention the Rock, Meltzer has this to say

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Vince & Trips have been having disagreements as to who they want facing Lesnar at WrestleMania XXXI. There's no mention of whether or not Lesnar will be champion by then, only the WON alleging that they don't see eye to eye on who he'll face. The report says that Vince wants Lesnar facing The Rock at WrestleMania XXXI while Triple wants Lesnar taking on Roman Reigns.

Anything but Bryan vs. Lesnar for the title at mania would be crap IMO. It's the perfect David vs. Goliath match. Both are technically sound wrestlers, with Bryan being as good as it gets in terms of choreography/story telling. Both are incredibly hot with the crowd. It would be stupid to go in any other direction IMO. I really hope it's neither Reigns or Rock. Reings is still crap at everything and the Rock is just a novelty act at this point.

Bryan is definitely looking most likely at the moment. However, if Network subs don't go up, I wouldn't be surprised if Lesnar is put in the ring with Batista/Rock at Mania for the title. Or Kurt Angle pleaseee

Bryan has to return by then though (well he has to return by Rumble IMO to win it).

I think WWE will be much better once HHH takes full control. If NXT is to go by. Rock vs Brock at WM in the main event for the title would be a terrible idea. Reigns will be made by winning the Rumble and beating Lesnar much like Tista in 05. And with reigns not even 30 yet, he would have around 5 years. Plus its not like hes having bad matches. What was his last bad match?

Reigns winning and then a month or two after Rollins cashing in would mean Rollins is champ with Reigns needing a rematch, possibly brock needing a rematch, Bryan still needing a rematch after getting stripped and of course Ambrose will be there (if they dont Cesaro him up)

Reigns needs a mouthpiece like Heyman if he's gonna battle Brock.

They don't let Brock do any talking because he's only just capable of saying words in English and not just grunting a bit. Reigns is better but not by much.

That could be the most entertaining PPV I've seen that didn't actually contain any great wrestling matches... goes to show that, if you have good booking, or compelling stories, or Brock Lesnar, it can go a long, long way to making something really entertaining.

Obviously, a 4/5star match would have been welcomed, but I'm not complaining.

I think the build really helped as well. None of the matches were just thrown together on the last Raw, each one has had at least a months build to get it hot and each match delivered.

If they really want people to get the Network (or renew) this was a good start towards it.

I maintain that WWE/F/TNA/E/WCW is at it's best when it is a genuine soap opera with good storylines and great characters. I was a huge fan during the Attitude Era and save for the spots and the weapons/hardcore style matches I could quite happily completely skip the in ring action and just watch everything else.

Wrestling is actually pretty boring for the most part.

Wanted Ambrose to win that.

Edit: didn't realise Ambrose is doing a movie.

He's got a movie to shoot, so will be away for a bit.

Hope the feud ends at HiaC and they're kept apart for a long time. Potential Rock/Austin levels of main event chemistry from these two in the future.

Nah, new Rock/Austin was Punk/Cena and they butchered it.

Yup. Too bad Amrose is gone when he was in a roll. Need to check out on that match today. It definitely is going to end in a HinaC. I thought they will feud Ambrose/Kane as a distraction. Forgot about the movie.

Will wait for him to come back eagerly!

I'd say they wanted it to be Orton and Cena. Which they brutally failed at.

It just never worked, though some still buy it, insane they've got 27 reigns between them, longevity though. Cena/Punk had 2 fantastic matches in 11-13.....neither on WM, only one on PPV, insane waste. Given that Bryan also got a really good match out of Cena too, I'd like to see if Ambrose could, seems to be the next "smaller" guy in line at a shot, and Cena's the man to start them with, since he'll let them call the match it seems.

Fair play to Cena, people give him a lot of abuse but he took some real heavy bumps in the match against Lesnar, those german suplex were nasty. How many other people would let themselves get beat down like that in their position?.

Ambrose gets better and better.

"What? It's for charity!"

This is the cherry on the cake.

Despite suffering what was deemed to be extensive head and spine trauma after being Curb Stomped through a pile of cinder blocks by Seth Rollins on Raw, Dean Ambrose has not only refused treatment but is reportedly missing after escaping WWE medical personnel altogether.

Dr. Amann went on to say that Ambrose’s exact injuries could not be determined thanks to his refusal of treatment, and further tests are impossible at this time as WWE trainers simply cannot find the notoriously unstable former U.S. Champion.

“At the time of bringing him backstage, he was responsive and was refusing transport to a local medical facility for further evaluation,” said Amann. “He had removed the straps and surgical collar, said he refused to go and we haven’t seen him since.”

Please stay with WWE.com for more on Ambrose’s condition and whereabouts.

That maniac  Kane/Rollins better start sleeping with one eye open!

Just speed watching RAW

Paul Heyman... he is incredible at what he does. Him and Lesnar together are near on the perfect wrestler.

You'll never look at Seth Rollins the same way again

So does everyone believe that Daniel Bryan's chances is of having a proper title run are finished then?
In an interview recently, he said that he would love to have a match against Lesnar, as they could really produce a great show, I wonder if their vastly different styles could ever make for a good match. It is the WWE but would anyone really buy that Bryan could beat Lesnar?

Bryan should have a match with Lesnar upon his return (assuming it's around the end of the year) - but shouldn't beat him I don't think.

The beating of Lesnar should establish a star, where as Bryan is already one really.

I really hope it's Ambrose, he could really be the new Austin if done right.

I don't buy that anyone could beat current Lesnar.

So you don't see DB getting the world title again?
