To be fair, even in kayfabe they were never really a main event group until the later days of the faction, and weren’t really some of biggest names in the business until now way after the split.
In contrast, the nWo were some of the biggest names in wrestling even before they got together, combined with the unthinkable Hogan heel turn and a gimmick which was to destroy the company they worked for from the inside.
Then outside kayfabe obviously the nWo had an impact on wrestling that can’t really be matched by another stable and maybe never will.
