Shame about the crowd, but I like the idea... i think there should be more fluidity between the main roster and NXT (and 205)
Apparently the women's tag titles are gonna be defended in all 3 brands.

End of the brand split is near me thinks. Thought this for a while anywho.

I’m kinda hoping they forget the brand split and go back to basically the free for all that it used to be but alas it’s all about the profits and it’ll be far more lucrative for them to keep the split.

Probably easier for the roster as well.

Yeah, they're probably looking to do it with the Fox move - they'll want all their big stars on Fox on Fridays (but also won't want to be hurting RAW in the process).

I hope it somewhat stays in place though (even if it's loose) - they have too much talent at the moment, and too many might get lost in the shuffle if you have one roster.

They literally waited for Chyna to die and then induct her as part of a stable.

She should have been in years ago as a singles competitor. Garbage company run by awful people:

China with a live mic wouldn't have been a good idea.

Sadly she was a very ill woman.

This is the way they get her in without all of the past being dug up and I for one am glad they're doing it at all.

Everyone eventually goes into the hall of fame anyway, so it doesnt really mean anything.

It did however mean a lot to her. She campaigned for it herself in her final years

Don’t leave much for smackdown with those 4 on raw, Dream and undisputed era is the best they can hope for.
Are they actually going to be full timers on Raw because it doesn’t really make that much sense, they are already stacked with people that get very little screen time, so just seems like adding people for the sake of it. Be easier to have multiple story arcs over 3 separate shows other than just ushering them all on to just 1 brand.

Not sure how you can have Gargano and Ciampa as full timers on Raw right now. I can see them making an appearance on SD. Then still coming on NXT a lot.

Saying that, we still havent seen the other NXT actually choose a brand so who knows what they are doing.

DX as a stable should go in. Chyna being part of it makes sense. Hope they mentioned Ric Rude too. Was an original.

Deffo an exciting time. Been thinking for a while, WWE have stockpiled on talent on all of its brands, to the point where it feels like there's no room for anyone. Atleast with NXT talent starting to appear on the main roster more, it's gives more people a chance in NXT atleast.

Hope they do something shocking though, like an NXT talent wins a title on their debut

If dream gets called up, i wonder who Ciampas dropping goaldie to?

NXT is getting pushed as equal so it'd be nice if they just ditched the brand split and just had people appearing fluidly on different shows and starting feuds with new people.

Also has anyone been more attractive than Becky beating the shit out of people with a crutch? Goddamn.

Remember back in the day where 1 night you’d have a title fight on one show with say the Rock vs HHH then the next night it was HHH vs Austin or the Rock vs the undertaker or there would be something like mankind having to beat 3 members of DX and it was just constant, every show had proper title consequences and it didn’t seem to really be just the same guys over and over again given like 2 months then on to the next one unless you’re Roman where it’s 3-4years.

Merge it all together, get rid of Brock and it will hopefully become a good product again, just seemed like this was the way it was heading with the return of the McMahons.

Looked like she borrowed one of Nakamura's onesies

Very interested to see what they do with Kofi tonight. They've fallen on something here with him... Hopefully they can run with it.

Ciampa’s knee incident, ouch. 265lbs or whatever Sheamus weighs and then the way it bent :( looked worse than the Caine Valesquez one from the weekend.

That almost Mandy Rose equipment failure and eh Kofi stealing shows left right and centre.

I'm not having much luck. Bryan losing clean to Kofi bloody Kingston and Mustafa bloody Ali in recent months, and being paired w/Rowan.... so poor. Joe being a loser. Zayn out injured. Wyatt gone. The only 4 talents worth watching for me.

The NXT call ups getting no reaction isn't surprising. Gargano and Ricochet are bland, Ciampa and Black are meh at best. Plus the average crowd don't care about NXT. I'm glad they kept the one talent worth building up in Dream away, but that was obvious anyway due to him being green. Still, green or not, the best down there in NXT.

His gimmick deserves no better.

A whinging vegan in a cardigan is a jobber level comedy act, not a WWE champion on the road to Wrestlemania level act.

In Total Bellas you can literally pinpoint the moment he comes e up with this character or idea. Brie tries to convince him to use his fame and Instagram to sell stuff and ambushes him with a brand manager to try and convince him to sell things like beard oil, or lumber jack shirts and all he keeps saying is I don’t want to sell people things they don’t need.

Other than that, I don’t actually mind him as a heal, actually prefer it but the gimmick is a bit crap.

Interesting take.

The crowd reaction wasnt surprising cos that crowd was horrible. Many other crowds, and they get the deserved reactions.

I think Bryan is doing an excellent job - he's being highly entertaining whilst also getting get everyone to boo him... plus he's looking really good in the ring and having some really good matches (the match with AJ at the rumble aside)

Also, he literally just went from beginning to end in the Gauntlet, and he's only getting pinned in tag matches - so I don't think there's much of a worry about him looking "weak".

Only problem I have is Rowan. Aside from that, I think he's made the title feel like it's actually important. I haven't had that vibe since maybe HHH's reign of terror for a world title.

Don't get me wrong, when they've been showcased more on the main roster they'll get over no doubt. Even though I'm not a big fan of any 4 of them, I can objectively say that.

It's just bringing them up with no hype, no angle, just out of the blue, with no promo/segment time, they're going to be taken at face value and, imo, they look bland. I don't think it was the best way to debut them seeing as all 4 will probably end up big players in the long run, but it's nothing to worry about either way. I can just see why they got the reactions they did.

I think Bryan's and AJ's match at the rumble was great. It was a refreshing change from the spamming of finishers.

Every move had intent behind it. They worked body parts which, later on in the match, effected the outcome and how the match played out. So good compared to the usual.

I definitely think there's a problem with having your world champ lose cleanly - heel or not - nearly every week on free TV. Especially when it's to the likes of Mustafa Ali and Kofi Kingston. Not to mention he looked like a chump against Lesnar, which I know many don't agree with, and Jeff Hardy had him beat a week or so ago before Rowan's interference.

I just think he's coming off very weak for the most part, and as a huge Bryan fan it irks me. Honestly, I'm not even putting this booking on the WWE. It would not surprise me if this is what Bryan wants as he's a very selfless performer in that he wants to get everyone over, and doesn't mind putting people over no matter the situation. It doesn't make for good viewing as a Bryan fan, though!

I felt that about AJs reign - esp as he had to follow Jinder.

I agree. It just had elements of not being good. Most NXT talents are normally given a bit more hype or debut the night after WM to a hot crowd.
These guys had nothing.

I still assume it was meant to be a showcase out of desperation to get 4 of the best workers onto the show to get people excited. But sadly it was in front of a dead crowd (and doing 4 at a time was a bit mad).
Cole calling Aleister moody was a wtf? moment too.

Could he have beaten it already? Would be pretty incredible.

In a weird way I kind of miss Roman, was secretly hoping he’d show up at Mania and screw over Brock allowing Seth to get the win. He can spam all the spears and Superman punches he wants.

That would make Seth look pathetic.

Seth has to beat Brock without no help.

I love AJ. Have done since I first saw him in TNA in 2005. However, WWE AJ is one of the most boring wrestlers I've seen, and his title reign - whilst I was hyped he beat Jinder - was as boring as anything. The title, like usual, was just there to me. It was just a prop.

With Bryan now, he's made it feel so important from my perspective. Like, his world revolves around it and him spreading his message is dependant on him keeping that prize, and he'll do anything to keep said belt because it's for the greater good. That's just me, though.

Yep, agreed, mate!

From what I've heard doing the rounds, Vince has finally realised the roster is dead. He has no full time stars (bar Roman who's unfortunately ill, and I can't stand him anyway) so he asked for NXTs best four talents to start getting them prepared for the main event slots.

Finally catching up with Raw. My gosh it's dull. Feels like it just drags. Storylines other maybe the Rhonda Becky stuff feels emotionless.

Renee isn't great on commentary and Cole just sounds forced.

Aleister Black's theme is amazing though.

I haven't watched a proper RAW since 2014, but I listened to Jim Cornettes podcast where, for the past two weeks, he's tuned into RAW for the first time in forever and gave it a proper analysis.

He's got a great mind. I know they're polar opposites, but I'd love it if AEW got him on board.
