Well that was an absolute car crash. Total missed opportunity as well, I mean you’ve got HHH asking for two little words, surely the perfect moment for Becky to say “I got 2 words for you, SUCK IT!”

Knew they’d screw this up, although I expect the landscape to change a lot between then and now. Hopefully they’ll put Becky in some sort of eliminator vs Charlotte which is still BS since she won the Rumble.

Actually think I just lost a whole lot of intrest in this story arc now, they just poured a huge tank of water all over it.

I think it was pretty well done. Charlotte was always going to be in the match and she deserves it too.

I just hope they don't have her actually win it.
 
'deserves' is subjective. One on One makes a whole lot more sense than triple threat given everything weve seen. And of course since weve had Charlotte vs Ronda already.

Then again, WWE has turned Elias heel for no reason. EC3 has had 2 matches and is already a victim of 50/50, and they dont have a clue what to do with Nikki.

No idea why this has happended, seemed to occur after the Royal Rumble after he hit Jeff Jarrett.

Actually I can see Becky going off the rails now, so it might work in her favour.

They are probably setting up for a Becky vs the Authority which could be intresting and hype her more I guess but I really can’t see how they now take Charlotte out of this which I’ve been against not because Charlotte isn’t great, she deserves massive matches at any event, just seems stupid to me to put her in this.

I’ve said before on here, WWE has probably had planned since last WM to have Charlotte vs Ronda at this Mania and Becky’s rise and that accident has put her in a position where not only is she the biggest thing in the woman’s division but WWE. There is no way they couldn’t give her the main event and they are just Roman Reigning Charlotte in to this.

Anyway hopefully there will be some fun with Becky as you say just going off the rails, causing the McMahon’s, Charlotte and possibly Ronnie problems a plenty and arrive on a beer truck driven by Conor swigging his proper 12 then running up to HHH doing his “hehehe, pussy!” Thing. Then Ronda arm bars him to death.
 
I'm going to hold off on judging the Charlotte thing just yet, even though it probably is pretty obvious where they are going. Maybe this is just to get Becky more over and Charlotte doesn't end up being in the match, or Becky has to face Charlotte early on in the night before facing Ronda just like Bryan did.

Its weird how they have plans, something becomes hot and they sometimes change it or not depending on how they feel.

Edge became hot in in 06, and should have been him vs Cena, but they went with planned Cena vs HHH
Punk became hot and should have been added to Rock vs Cena (which makes more sense given we already had a Rock vs Cena)
Orton vs Angle was planned even though Rey won the title, but then he got added when he was cheered for winning the Rumble and dedicating to Eddie. (but then got treated like an idiot, who lost his shot to Orton, but was handed it anyway, and then got booed and won the title)
Bryan became hot, and then got added to the planned Orton vs Batista (and won the title and beat HHH too)
Batista in 05 became hot and took Ortons place vs HHH.

They obviously had Charlotte and Ronda planned, but Becky became the hottest thing (and they had to basically make Charlotte do the same thing :lol:)

At least Becky should be part of the main event

True and if she wins it would be massive but I bet there is no way Ronda is taking the fall. It’ll either be Ronda wins or Becky or Charlotte get a pin or submission over each other which isn’t what I want because then any possible follow on match vs Ronda loses its mystique because who cares after that if she really wins or loses.

Side note: So remember a few months back when Brie Bella was screwing up weekly and had that horror dive? I saw a trailer for total Bellas where it is discussed and she addresses it but also something about Nikki and Ronda training for their match at Rondas wrestling ring. So you see a little behind the scenes for that.

It's not shit, but it's not great. Very much an OK card.

PPVs between rumble and mania aren't the greatest these days. Very much filler.
 
Yeah, the product has been really poor again lately. It's been crap for a long time. After Vince's 'we're going to change things' spiel, it got a bit more interesting for like 2 weeks before going back to the same inert product. They can't build stars for shit. Literally none of the NXT call ups have been allowed to offer anything since they arrived. Elias has been majorly misused. SmackDown has had many more bright spots than Raw, especially with Daniel Bryan and Ali/Kingston's recent pushes. However, I still find SD a bit dull and inconsequential. It really doesn't feel we are on the Road to WrestleMania at all.
 
That women's EC could be a colossal clusterfeck. Out of the 12 women in it I'd only trust Sasha, Bayley and Naomi to deliver.

The men's could be great. The sooner Bryan loses and fecks off with the wooden belt and atrocious gimmick, the better. A whinging vegan going into Mania as your WWE champion, talk about dragging the prestige of the position through the dirt.

Ronda/Ruby could be decent but because the result is nailed on, I have no interest.

She'll be in trouble for that though, Ronda especially. Risking a concussion on her before Mania, big no-no.

Women's EC wasn't a shitshow like I expected.

Usos vs McMiz was alright.

Becky/Charlotte/Ronda segment was great.

Finn wins a belt. About time.

Braun/Corbin was dogshit, everything with Corbin is.

Lacey Evans' arse.

Main event was fantastic. Was so, so hoping Kofi would win. The final two with Bryan/Kofi could be up there for MOTY on it's own.

Good PPV.

I mean, Kofi Kingston?! This company is seriously lacking talent. A real shame his run has come at a time where there's no decent challengers bar Joe who, kayfabe wise, is a loser.

Even if he had (and I think he might have got the Gauntlet showing, but not the showing tonight) I don't think it would have sparked the same reaction - just because he doesn't have that in-built history that comes with Kofi.

Anyway, cracking main event - thrilling stuff.
 
I actually enjoyed that. I didn’t realise I wanted Kofi to be champion so badly. Surely they’ve got to build Kofi vs Bryan for Mania.

I don’t agree with that the roster is stacked, the likes of Nakamura and Asuka can’t even make it to tv. I think they’re telling a great story with Kofi tbh, it’s nice to see someone different in the title scene.

Him winning at Mania with the New Day standing tall will be a big moment.

I can't speak for Nakamura, but Asuka's absent because she has no available competition. Becky/Charlotte are obsessing over Ronda, and everyone else is in the tag title match. They're not going to give her promo/segment time alone due to Vince not being a fan of her lack of English.

As for Kofi, not only have I never personally cared for him, I don't care to see another underdog storyline where someone gets a title because they've been there a while.

The belts awful regardless. Every belt is now. Whoever designs them nowadays should feel bad. The WWE title hasn't looked prestigious since the GOAT undisputed championship.

Bryan needs a hemp version of the Undisputed belt. It's what's best for the planet.
 
Good results but pretty poor match quality all round with the exception of the main event and of course the cruiserweights once again. They really should stick them on the main show because they outshine most of the roster constantly. Happy for Kofi and really bought in that he was going to win.
 
Anyone else think Sonya Deville with a bit of promo work and some more experience could be something pretty special. I don’t know what it is but just the way she moves and the intensity it’s like when Ronda first showed up. She moves with purpose. She has a great look as well.

Just finished watching it, excellent main event, got totally sucked in to it starting to believe that Kofi might actually get the win then the heartbreak, the champion I never knew I wanted. Always thought Big E is probably the one that should get a title push but then you think back to everything Kofi has done and he always puts it all on the line for the fans and can do some amazing things. Probably deserves the title for a stint before he leaves.
 
Yeah that was super awkward, half assed chants, like the “you deserve it” for Bayley and Banks “yes” chant it was just awful.

Bayley and Banks cringe makes me want to throw up but can’t deny they deserve those titles,be intresting how they are going to defend these, they just going to be on every show.

Saw this, just the camera angle but but Logan’s five is a thing of beauty, like no hesitation in it at all
