I don't know why they didn't just have Reigns beat him at Mania, and failing that, in Saudi Arabia. They had two opportunities to give the title to Reigns before people were completely bored with Reigns/Lesnar, and at a time where the crowd were likely to support literally anyone beating Brock. Now everyone's bored of Reigns/Lesnar and will be completely apathetic to whichever actually wins at Summerslam. Literally only way for them to salvage it is have Braun run through the two of them to win it with a cash in.
Had to have Lesnar beat Punk's record. Doesn't matter that it's with a belt that looks like it's from a pound shop clearance sale but now Punk's record is no more and I bet that was very important to Vince.

Somewhat cringey way of announcing the PPV, especially with one of the main reasons women's wrestling was so shit standing right there. If a women only PPV is what it takes for the likes of Ember, Becky, Sasha, Bayley or Asuka to have another big match then so be it.

So just when Lashley was starting to get over, they just flushed that down for guess who!!! ROMAN AGAINN. This whole Roman obsession is not helping anyone including Roman. Lashley dethroning Brock and then maybe at Survivor series Roman beating Lashley and winning the title would have made much more sense and would have felt natural. They have literally screwed the summerslam card by having Roman/lesnar main event AGAIN.
As for Braun cashing in the MITB against a tired Roman is another illogical and BS thing to do. Braun has been booked like a warrior so why not continue with that by having Braun challenge the champion before hand and winning it aka RVD style. What's worse is Lashley beat him at Extreme Rules, who then came out on Raw the night after demanding a title shot. Roman also came out and said he doesn't care about the title or Lesnar. A week later and he's beaten Lashley and is the number one contender. What the feck is that?

Smackdown is a far far better show then RAW right now. If RAW didn't have Rollins, it would be totally unwatchable... I mean, just look at the difference between the tag team divisions. On one side we have The Uso's vs. The Bar next week with the winner facing the New Day... which will be excellent stuff all round.... where as on the other side, you have the feckin' B-Team as your champions.
With Joe vs. AJ and Bryan vs. Miz, the two top Smackdown matches for Summerslam dwarf the two top RAW matches in terms of my, and I imagine many others, interest levels.
