Television Tho Prop Grops Throps

Smackdown need to hear “Burn it down”, they have had there upper mid carders ripped out.
Get Rollins, Strowman, Cass & Miz. Which would leave
RAW big 6
Lesnar
Reigns
Lashley
Joe
Balor
Owens

SDL big 6
AJ
Bryan
Rollins
Strowman
Nakamura
Orton

Saw a photo that Cesaro took on a plane had Banks, Balor and Sheamus in it, so they won’t be going to SDL
Missed The Miz off these lists. He’s like one of their top three or four guys at this point, even if he’s not had a world title recently. Probably only Lesnar, Reigns and most probably Styles and Bryan are ahead of him.

I don't think wwe will let Brawn and Lashley on the same brand whilst managing to keep them apart from a storyline fued, which is awkward because imo one should beat Brock at some stage.

Brawn to Smackdown, seth to smackdown (pretty obvious one given Jinder went the other way) and anyone else would be a bonus.

Finn is pretty lost on Raw too, but he can have a potentially terrific rivalry against KO and Zayne now.

Wow, Smackdown did great. The Miz, J. Hardy, Samoa Joe, Almas, Vega, The Bar, Gallows & Anderson, SANITY and Asuka. Now it just needs some decent writing.

Unfortunately we may have Bryan feuding with Big fecking Cass though.

So post WM, what are peoples thoughts on the callups, and the outlook for both shows? I do agree SD was fecked last year but it looks better this time round.
Also the mid card champs are really interesting. Just need Raw to champ universal champ.

Joe on Smackdown:drool::drool::drool::drool: now his momentum won't be killed because Vince has big plans for Reigns. Plus Joe Vs Bryan and Joe Vs Aj:drool::drool::drool:

The tag teams are SD are crazy right now. Every hot team on WWE are on SD now.

The matches we can see make me so excited but I know they will find a way to ruin it.

They should have swapped the new day and bar. Smackdown has too many tag teams for a two hour show whilst Raw you will end up with random teams.

The US title division is freshened up quite well with Cass, Shelton Benjamin, Miz (Rusev and Orton) mixing it up with Jeff Hardy now.

Aska and Charlotte both on Smackdown? Can see who got the better deal in the women's division that's for sure. Makes sense to separate the pair from Ronda I guess.

Also the tag team division certainly is hotter on Smackdown I agree. New Day and The Bar AND Usos? Plus the current champs who look more formidable than any tag team across either brand.

All in all a great shakeup imo. I worry Joe being the only monster on Smackdown will limit some angles but if they write it well he can propel to the top.

The level of talent on Smackdown is amazing. Hopefully the booking and writing will allow for some great matches that the talent can pull off.

This from Turning Point 2005 is probably my favourite TNA singles match ever. EVER.

Smackdown did alright with the shake up. Got an awesome tag division and the dross was refreshed with guys from NXT. Still think the upper card swaps are pretty even and while they got rid of one oversized bore in Jinder, he's been replaced with another who might be slightly worse.

Low blows followed by "sorry no speak English" has to be the funniest gimmick since Jerichos list.

What an odd thing to do, in having the Bar move to smackdown, when they're challenging for the RAW tag titles.

From a story telling pov, why would kurt give jeff an opportunity to win the US championship if he just made that trade.

The card for the GRR is ridiculous

  • Greatest Royal Rumble (50 man)
  • Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns (Universal championship)
  • AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (WWE championship)
  • Seth Rollins vs. The Miz vs. Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe (Intercontinental championship)
  • Jeff Hardy vs. Jinder Mahal (U.S. championship)
  • The Bludgeon Brothers vs. The Usos (SmackDown tag team championship)
  • Cesaro & Sheamus vs. Bray Wyatt & Woken Matt Hardy (Raw tag team championship)
  • Undertaker vs. Rusev (Casket match)
  • Triple H vs. John Cena

EDIT: Two things - 1) Is it live on the Network? I can't check at the moment. 2) Anyone want to guess how long it's gonna be?

Imagine if this is better than WM lol

And yeah, it does seem to be on the network.

The IC 4-way is a ladder match too.

I expect it to be a very safe ladder match though. They won't be going all out for what is an extremely glamorous house-show and with a proper PPV coming up.

Think it’s going to be 5 hours long (including the pre show what starts on the network at 4pm UK time)

It’s not really a house show any longer. WWE had built this into TV and storylined for it. They’ll be getting paid royally for this and will want further business.

Hope they keep the cross brand matches going, an idea I have had is having just 1 world Undisputed champion, I would have Reigns beating Lesnar at the greatest royal rumble, Joe beating Reigns at Backlash and Joe beating AJ Styles at MITB,
with there only being 1 champion they get to be on both shows,
So on RAW they would have there challenger and SDL would have theirs so at each PPV they would go 1:1 in a no1 contenders match.
Think how many great matches we could get Rollins V Bryan, Balor V Nakamura, Strowman V Joe, Rollins V AJ Styles, which wouldn’t otherwise happen if they are on different shows

SDL did great in the shake up, just a shame they have the clueless Road Dogg in charge, why did they have Billie Kay tapping out on just her 2nd week on Smackdown should have ended in a DQ win for Charlotte or have Kay win Via a distraction from Carmella.

Also don’t like that Nikki Cross isn’t coming up with Sanity, that would have been fantastic, would have fitted 3 slots nicely, Killian as a mid carder Wolfe and EY in the Tag Team division and Cross in the Woman’s division

Also, how baffling is it that they have Joe debut against Sin Cara in a meaningless match and Cass debut in a feud with Daniel Bryan (alongside AJ, Rusev, Nakamura)? Swap their roles and the main event gets that much better.

Because everyone knows all about Joe, he's already established and over with the fans. Just seeing him draws a pop and him blasting Sin Cara just reiterates the beast that he is.

Big Cass got injured mid way through his push, clearly they had big plans for him and the injury plus Enzo being let go has meant that the guy needs a reset and WWE probably now want to accelerate his push... what better way to give him that limelight than against Bryan.

Something to wrestle with Bruce is now on the network. Wonder is they will change their routine that made them so successful and if they might dilute their Vinny Mac and other impressions.

Seen some great ideas for Nakamura promos in future weeks. The best is to have Renee attempt to interview him with a translator and for him to act offended in near perfect English at Renee needing a translator to understand him.

Honestly, I know why they did it, but I still find it baffling that they're wasting Bryan's return with a feud against Cass who's rubbish. A bit like how they wasted his World Heavyweight Championship run after WM30 with a feud against Kane.... Such a waste.

I’m presuming he goes over, makes Cass look decent in the meantime and then goes up against a heel Nakamura. If Miz is not taking time off, I wonder if we get a Miz/Cass partnership.

It's just so lackluster, though.

Like, if we went back to 2003 when Shawn Michaels returned, it'd have been like having him return to feud with, I don't know, Rene Dupree or Christopher Nowinski to make them up and comers look decent. Instead, he came back to face the top heel in the company in HHH and got people invested. There's two good heels who aren't occupied at the moment in Rusev and Joe that could get people somewhat invested in a storyline.

Bryan's my 2nd favourite of all time behind Stone Cold and I find myself not caring about this one bit. That's not good.
