Bryan is the biggest accident WWE have had and not known what to do with.
From him being on NXT as the rookie to Miz (good partnership, but them DQ'ing him because he said 'maybe i shouldnt be here' or some BS)
To him getting fired for using a tie to choke somebody as part of Nexus (and thus his name being changed when PPVs ended and went off air)
To the 18 second squash match against Sheamus and thus other matches being hijacked with Yes chants (I still remember how angry HHH/Stephanie were when doing the Orton vs Cena presentation match and all the crowd chanted for was Bryan).
To trying to turn him heel and chant no when the crowd chanted yes and putting him with Kane as a midcard tag team that somehow still got super over.
To having the title for 1 minute and then pretty much being pushed down to midcard.
And of course making him join the Wyatts and having to turn him face a few weeks later cos he was still being chanted for.
To of course the crowd hijacking a few rumbles and chanting for him at the expense of Batista/Reigns (and thus having to make WM30 all about Bryan)

Its nuts if you review his WWE career.

Saying that WWE do need to have him pretty much beat Cass convincingly imo and if that takes time before it leads to Miz/Bryan at Summerslam it can be done well. Miz/Bryan could be so so good if its allowed to be. They pretty much have Bryans whole career in WWE as background to build on.

Imagine if this is better than WM lol

And yeah, it does seem to be on the network.

It probably will be with the money Saudis are offering.

Now that Joe is on Smackdown, I can see him costing Reigns the match as he can’t win the Universal title now.

They really need to get rid off all this clusterfeck. Just have one world champion, one tag champion, one women’s champion, IC champion and US champion.

Champions appear on one brand for a month and then the other. It would also get rid of the annoying rematch clause.

The PPVs being joint now is stupid (even more so than the first time around). The rosters are so big that they should have enough time to to write for the people on a single brand.
205 seems to not be on Raw anymore and has been relegated to a show nobody watches in main event.
If they have joint PPVs, it now makes the big 4 back to 'just another PPV'.
It means lots of people wont get PPV matches.

Them doing PPVs every 2 weeks was stupid as it was. Should just be a month apart, and each brand has a ppv every 2 months until the big 4. Given its no longer actual PPV and network model they are moving towards its mad how they are doing this.

I think the same will happen with Gargano. He's sensational but I can't see Vince buying into him.

Yeah. TBH, I thought there was no way they could mess up ultimate faces Zayn and Bayley. And here we are in 2018 and Zayn is a heel (although good at being annoying with Owens) and Bayley has pretty much been ... doing stuff.

Zayn has been brilliant with Owens, I couldn't see it working so have been nicely surprised.

It could lead to more cross promontional stuff tho. I’d imagine this Joe and Reigns story is going to rumble on for a while and build to a big match somewhere down the line. If Reigns wins or loses to Brock at the “greatest Rumble” I expect Joe to come in after and beat the snot out of him.
Do they actually have a match already lined up for Backlash?

However do agree, how are they going to have all these matches with two brands. Unless they cut the superstars exposure and just focus on the main ones or expand the events.

Got to wonder, why are they not embracing Rusev and making him face. AJ Styles and Bryan are Smackdowns top faces yet you have half of the crowd shouting Rusev Day. Surely they should realise people want to see him win and be the face, because right now him trying to be a heal just seems weird watching him.

I'm getting married this summer. Someone convince me not to do this...

Has anyone ever seen the wrestler Rosemary? I think she’s the girl that got her arm broken in a match by some girl called sexy star. Was just watching some match of hers on YouTube. Puts a girl through a table from the top rope with a pile driver. Have pile drivers been banned in WWE? Can’t recall seeing one in ages.
Anyway seen bits of her gimmick before about the hive and stuff and she looks pretty intresting.

@Bubz27 do it! I’ve done two best man speeches and now I wish I had a walkout and it was this. Would have been epic even tho I had someone dressed as a gimp with a ball gag when I did my last one.

Saw a whatculture video that referenced how pile drivers were massively banned. Only Undertaker is allowed to do his tombstone which is the closest thing (and actually a safer way to do it). Last time a proper one was done was CM Punk vs John Cena off the cuff and both stars got a naughty slap on the wrist for it after.

I reckon she'd want a divorce straightaway!

That was a proper wtf moment that immediately elevated the match for me (which was already great iirc).

See that looks like a proper finisher. I can understand why they are banned but they just look awesome.

Here is the one I was talking about. It’s at 4mins. There is too much faffing about on the top rope in the build up to it for my liking.

Apart from Braun it was a bit of a meh Raw.
Anyone follow Alexa Bliss on instagram by the way? Her videos of her by the pool :drool: hawt damn!!

Other than Nakamura/Styles, Smackdown already sounds a mess. Bryan beaten up every week. Asuka losing for no reason. Distraction finish after finish.

I actually though Smackdown was quite good. That win for the Iconics at least makes them credible in the division and at least now Asuka is no longer invincible, because it became stupid.
Think they laid a lot of groundwork for future stories plus quite a few of their roster didn’t even feature. So they might be hard pressed to fit everyone in.
Loved the end of that triple tag. Nakamura all of a sudden is intresting. Fook what they are doing with Rusev tho.

Having Asuka lose again (it counts as a loss) is silly right after WM.
Having Naomi essentially as a woman screaming cos her man is getting beaten down is so 90's
Having Bryan get beaten up ... cos WWE clearly believes that their booking directly is the reason Bryan got over
Having Rusev act like a heel, still, is clearly them listening to their audience, lmao.

Looking at the positives:

Naiomi distracting to get Usos the win was fresh and have an added dimension.

Nakamura is gold and so is AJ.

Bar and Raw tag team titles was cleared up a bit (I.ee They move back to Raw if they win which is plausible given smackdown is over stocked in that division).

Bryan is probably just being saved from Wrestling too much too early on. A little beat down takes him away from the ring for a bit.

Whether it was hook or crook, Shelton got a needed win. They need to build his character more because he has a high level.

Yea overall smackdown is quite meh but I'm interested to see where the rivalries develop (except for Iconic. I find them boring).

I'd probably have Nakamura beating Styles, but by DQ. Possibly HHH > Cena, but essentially the match will happen and never be referenced again, as it would for a house show, so it makes no difference.

It's kinda just been shoehorned in.

Considering reports are saying they could make over 100m just from this I dont blame WWE for putting all big names.
Will be interesting to see if they keep doing this and still have no women compete given the way they try to act like they are at the forefront of womens revolution in the world even though they were so behind in it.

This is a multi-year deal, so i'm pretty convinced that by the end of it, women will be wrestling on the show and WWE will milk it for all its worth.

They already had Alexa and Sasha wrestle over there and they basically wore like onesie version of their gear. Not sure the WWE can change the culture of a country or that it is even their job to do so. The fact that match even happened is a massive stride.

That was in the U.A.E (Dubai I think).... which is far more ahead of Saudi (though still has its problems of course).

You might be right but just goes to show if they are having to wear gear that pretty much covers every inch of skin just to put on a show in Dubai which is a lot more relaxed imagine the difficulty of getting them on this card.

I saw a video that people suspect the WWE planted people in the crowd on Monday to cheer Roman. It was quite weird that there were Roman chants but they were kinda awkward as it was only about 10 people at the front. You could hear them but it just never took off. Did anyone else notice this.

Me too.

Wrestling fans just love to complain.

You can see they are actually building up to something.

Love how they continually tease Miz and Bryan. Thats building up to something special

Yeah, they were fairly blatant plants. Embarrassing that they actually have to resort to putting a dozen people in the crowd to cheer him.

Whats weird is the people who boo Roman for reasons, go ahead and cheer Brock. Ugh.

The best of two evils maybe

@Shane88 yeah I just wish they’d get over him and embrace the fact he isn’t liked, will probably never be accepted and that he is better as a heal. Heck could you imagine the eruption if Braun is the one to end Brock and take that belt. He’ll instantly catapult to god status. It’s clearly the way to go and make Roman be the heal for him to fight with after. Let Roman get an unclean win on him or something so then Braun has to go back at him to slay Reigns.

Roman has had great matches imo. Hope to feck he wins the title today.
Brock is only interesting when he can be bothered which is a shame. Enjoyed his matches with Punk, AJ, Cena/Rollins. Although it can be argued its due to them.
WWE really missed chances to have some awesome matches with Brock vs Sheamus, Broc vs Cesaro, Brock vs Rusev. And I dont mean squashes. Brock in competitive matches against them but winning would make these lot.

BTW if Rollins wasnt IC champ id say WWE should throw a curveball, have Joe win the IC title today, then win the Universal title from Roman at Backlash. Take it hostage to SD with Raw suddenly having no titles...
