On the Meltzer thing, I think him giving that Okada/Omega match 6* a while back has probably dragged up star ratings of other matches. Before that, I don't think either the ladder match or the unsanctioned match would have reached five. Very close, like 4.75 or something, but not "the full" five (in the sense that it would have been the full five before he decided it was six now). A bit like how the Neymar transfer fee has made all the others crazier.

So basically I think that there probably are other WWE matches (and other company's) that would have been five star matches, if they'd just happened after the Okada/Omega thing.
 
That non sanctioned match was a bit piss for me. Dragged on, had massive luls and was just a bit boring. The 6 man ladder match and the Black and Ciama match were good. Ricochet basically being a crash test dummy, that moon sault to the outside from the falling ladder, couple of notches in the match but that big fellow Kildane doing that suicide dive through the rope.
Every time I see Big E do that I sort of look away but that dude Kildane seems a bigger more rotund shape than Big E.

Think you are right about his star ratings, Omega V Y2J and Osprey V Scrull both got 5*’s but both were not better then the 2 Undertaker V HBK classics at WM which got 4 3/4
 
Minkaro is spot on. Meltz is massively star happy now, which is a shame given how rare that 5 was. Punk/Cena was unreal and deserving of its status as the lone modern WWE perfect rating, it nailed everything.

It's so much harder to nail it on every level for the WWE than it is in Japan, however you want to swing it. Cena/Punk MITB is now a 7*
 
Nikki looks like the evil twin too.

Biggest travesty is that Miz and Maryse lost to them over this wm moment.
 
Its that dancing and the stars curse. John Cena does seem a bit boring to be honest. Wonder if they been doing the dirty.
 
So Daniel Bryan v. Miz will be the feud of the year on smackdown. I am all for it, however would have preferred to fight at summerslam rather than having him fight straight away.

Also, enjoyed Jeff hardy winning the us title making him a grand slam champion. He will be likely moving to SD. Smack down getting some good acquisition so far.
 
I would have saved Miz vs. Bryan for Mania next year! Though they'll probably give Bryan a title win next year.

Also, between the main roster and NXT, I think there are just too many people on the roster at the moment.

Yeah Jeff will definitely go to Smackdown. Think along with him and the Miz, they'll get Balor and The Revival too, which should be good.

Think its a shame Zayn and Owens are on RAW, think they'll get a bit lost there.

McIntyre would also have been much better on Smackdown too.
 
I think The Miz may be a swerve and he's kept away from Bryan for now, remaining on Raw. I think a couple of teases like this, maybe an encounter or two such as at the Saudi event and backstage on other PPVs will keep the anticipation going. The Miz is still included in the Intercontinental Title matches in Saudi Arabia and at Backlash. Hardy vs Mahal is booked for Saudi Arabia too, but both of these could change after Smackdown.

Smackdown is far better for just cutting a load of their deadwood and stale acts. Almas and J. Hardy will be welcome additions.

Seems there's a good chance they will get Bayley and Sasha Banks too, so the Four Horsewomen are all on the same show for the Mania build next year. I guess they could move Bliss, James and/or Asuka over instead.

Hopefully they get The Revival and/or Gallows/Anderson who can be easily rebuilt. Balor would be good if they want to do something with all the ex-Bullet Club members.
 
Raw got absolutely decked in the shakeup. I was hoping for AJ Styles.

Instead they got all the dross that nobody cares about any more. Ziggler, boring. Roodes, boring. Fashion files, boring. Corbin, good finisher but boring. Lost the Miz

On the other hand, Smack down just got really interesting

A lot of these guys can be rebooted. Interested to see a McIntyre and Ziggler partnership. Roode just needs to go heel again.

I don't see anything in Corbin though.
 
Do think Rollins and Balor going to Smackdown would be good. Personally I can’t see AJ leaving Smackdown, it is the house that AJ Styles built after all. After his comments last year as well I don’t think he even wants to go there.

I suppose there is still a chance of Rollins going and the Jeff title change was a fake out but I somehow doubt it. Heck could you imagine the matches, Bryan, AJ, Rollins and Balor could have. Throw Samoa Joe in that mix and awesome.

I agree McIntyre should have been added to SD. Also, Drafting both zayn and owen was a stupid decision. They should have kept them apart now. Zayn could have stayed in SD, allowing him to continue his feud with Bryan and have some classic matches before Bryan and miz feud with each other.

I also feel one of strowman , joe or lashley must be sent to SD. Having all big men in one show would do no good.
 
Smackdown got absolutely fecked last year so they need to readdress the balance this time round. Raw's already got Zayn and Owens who were Smackdown's main feud for a lot of last year so it's not a great start even if Smackdon got the Miz. I assume they're going to get either Rollins or Jeff Hardy though.
 
Smackdown need to hear “Burn it down”, they have had there upper mid carders ripped out.
Get Rollins, Strowman, Cass & Miz. Which would leave

I was away to mention this, only saw Balor and Reigns on a flight to Cape Town with Mandy Rose, Sonya and Nia, so i’d guess none of those are changing brand.

Heard Mojo and Zack have been traded to raw and also Chad Gable, so Shelton and he are no more. Oh the Assention have moved to Raw as well. No idea what is happening but the Raw trades bar Sami and Kev are pretty uninspiring.
