Nxt doesn't have an obsession with one or two people trying to make them the face of the show, hence why hot acts don't have their momentum killed

Vince and wwe basically kill the momentum of anybody that isn't their choice. Doesn't make sense at all
Also nxt always has a top champion that appears, does promos and builds their title matches (and provides good matches)

It's basically day and night
Nxt will make champions but those people will be brought up but not be a priority

Elias and alexa seem to be the only ones in recent times to come up and proper compared to nxt

It does seem that Rousey versus Charlotte is the early favourite based on rumour. Could well be a good match. Not sure how the face and heel dynamic would work. Face Charlotte with the four horsewomen feuding with a heel Rousey with the MMA crew?

Scince I’ve signed up for the WWE Network Just away to sit down and watch New Orleans takeover. Only ever watched highlights of NXT on youtube so looking forward to this. I like how there is no fecking about, straight in to a ladder match.
 
I can see them keeping Rousey undefeated until WM. Then Charlotte faces her (as champion?) and the story being she stopped one streak in 2018, and 2019 going for another.
Rousey main eventing WM with harlotte makes sense too.

Will be interested to see how Rousey is used.

This is a very good point. Back in late 90s and 2000s , I remember wwf/e used to have 6 or 7 major stars and everyone were booked strong but now you could see there is a gulf between 1 tier to another. Roman is booked way too strong but others are booked inconsistently. Things must change or every main event of mania would suck featuring roman

Watch all the takeovers, there isn't a bad one. In fact there has yet to be a weekend where a main roster ppv has been better than a takeover.

It’s the wisest thing for me. Rusev shouldn’t be in that match because he’s getting cheered constantly.

Jericho losing won’t mean nothing.

NXT is triple h's baby. End game is for it to be seen as a third brand rather than developmental.

Rusev tweeted "bury me softly" which was then followed by a tweet from Lana where she appeared to be fearing for Rusev's safety. I've seen some people suggest that Rusev's leaving, because he apparently tried to quit before 'Mania, which is why he was added to the US match, only to get pinned by Jinder.

You need to read her Twitter before going off on one.

She was angry at TMZ for the title of the video where they titled it that Rusev says he gonna retire the undertaker and crush his old ass. None of that was said in the video.

She even liked that Rusev tweet.

One guys opinion. It's not like we haven't had great matches since then that plenty would consider '5 star'. For what it's worth he said Reigns/Lesnar was 3 stars and the IC triple threat was 3.5.

If by business you mean actual wrestlers then I'm not too sure. Young Bucks love him and have a finisher named after him called the Meltzer driver and he's been on shoot interviews alongside a lot of top Indie guys like Ricochet, Chuck Taylor etc. There are a lot of fans who put a lot stock in his opinions which I find weird. That they will state a rating as a fact, or the number of 5 star matches is a stat to be used to prove how good someone is in the same way people use number of goals scored for a striker. He's been covering wrestling for a long long time which is why he's built up a large following and as far as insider info and rumours go he's probably the most reliable. Because of his following he does wield a lot of influence, for example him giving the Omega/Okada match 6 stars generated a lot of buzz and brought the match and NJPW a lot of attention from people who otherwise might not have thought too much about it.
 
@Mystry I guess at the end of it, best bet is to watch and make your own opinions.

Not having a clear fan star doesn't help merchandise sales. They need a face. Roman is wrongly branded as a face. He needs to be a rebel like Stone Cold. Maybe shave off his head and give him a more rough look and fans will lap it up.

I think decapitations are frowned upon in PG13 shows. Plus it's a trick you can only use once.

It's too late for Roman, they've let it go on too long now with the push so everything they do with him will feel like another undeserved push.

Not really a push, get him destroyed by Brock. Take him off for 2 weeks and then bring him back in a vengeful form. Better than continincothis farce where fans will never accept him .
