Lesnar was a disgrace in that 3 way, Don't know how anyone can enjoy watching him in 2018. Out of shape Dad bod, sloppy in the ring and has no interest in being there. So, why should I as a viewer be interested in him? WWE should cut ties when his contract is up.

I totally disagree... when he's in there with someone he wants to be in there with (Styles/Joe for example) he's super motivated and puts on a great show.

True thats not a great trait to have regardless, but he definitely has some interest. He was interested in destroying Braun at the Rumble too after that sloppy knee as well.

So Balor looks strong in the rumble then loses to Cena and not in the elimination chamber... Not sure what they're doing with him...

Elimation Chamber is looking strange already, as the four guys in the qualifier matches were all guys I'd expect to be in the match - now two of them likely are not. I don't get the Balor one, as he did great in the Rumble and then doesn't get in (unless additional chances are granted, it could be Kane vs Balor for a last-chance shot, for example).

Roman Reigns
John Cena
Braun Strowman

Who else? Bray Wyatt? Matt Hardy? Samao Joe? Seth Rollins? Elias?

The Miz could be in, but it'd be better for him to defend his title. Joe's in if he's not still injured. If Ambrose is back, they may want to keep him and Seth in the tag division a bit longer...

Unfortunate situation is that they're probably going to end up with Reigns and Strowman as the final two and they have to push one or the other for the title. One or the other gets ruined (Strowman) before Wrestlemania, so what do they do? Maybe Kane or HHH will cost Strowman the match earlier on, so it isn't as if Reigns wins with help going into a match with Lesnar.

How long has she been training for exactly?

Yeah, you don't know.
There is an interview with Triple H where he says she’s been training wrestling for 6 years in her spare time. She has supposedly also been going to the performance centre for 7 months now. Also she’s a life long super fan so I’m sure she’ll no most of the moves but it’s can she pace a match and tell a story.
Personally I think she’ll be brought in as a squash merchant, but it’s intresting she says it’s a full time contract. Some how I can’t see her doing house shows but she has said she could make more money doing other things but her 6 yr old self would beat her ass if she didn’t take this opportunity so apparently this is the next 7 years of her life.

Rey Mysterio looked great, really good shape he's in. Hopefully he can save 205.

Was a one-off appearance. He is signed to 5-Star Wrestling, which begins airing on FreeSport in the UK this Thursday, 1st February. They've signed a lot of ex-WWE talent like Chris Masters, Jack Swagger, Carlito, John Morrison, Rob Van Dam, and of course Rey. First show is at Liverpool Arena at 7pm, there's loads of dates set for the UK tour and they're all live on TV too. It'll probably go to shite pretty fast, but will be interesting to see if it takes off. They've gone straight into arenas which may hurt them if they can't sell 10,000 tickets.

Each to their own, but go and watch Brock from a few years ago on the network and compare it to now. He is a shell of his former self. He would rather be sat at home fishing, and it shows.

Sales don't appear to be going at all well, they put out a call for video crews and lighting crews literally last week and have form for over-promising and under-delivering, including last minute cancellations. Wouldn't bank on this going ahead

There were three qualifying matches featuring six guys in total.

Strowman qualified by beating Kane. Elias qualified beating Hardy. Cena qualified beating Balor.

Take your pick from Reigns, Rollins, Wyatt, Balor, Hardy, Miz, Jordan and maybe Joe depending on when he's back fit for the remaining slots.

I'd imagine Reigns is a sure-thing, but the rest is pure guesswork. I reckon Jordan and Balor but it could be anyone.

Just saw the two rumbles and the Braun Match. Was decent. I liked the women's rumble way more than the men's though. Seeing Mysterio after all these years was really great too.

He has always been the same. He has zero passion for the business, it's purely about making as much money for as little effort as he can. I keep saying it, he is just like a shit Scott Steiner, spam a bunch of suplexes, f5, and take his flabby red disinterested arse back to his ranch. Hopefully one of these days he will stay there for good.

AJ vs Lesnar was probably my favourite match of last year, so I also don't agree that he's past it and shouldn't be there. Alright his matches with Strowman have been clunky and full of distractions from actual wrestling but I still enjoy seeing them flying through tables and Heyman having a meltdown, the payoff of Strowman finally winning the title will make them worth it too, if it happens and it's a big if with WWE booking.

I enjoyed the Rumble. The first Rumble I've enjoyed in many years. I'm not Nakamura's biggest fan but at least it wasn't Reigns who's still trash. I wasn't a big fan of any of the final 4, really. T'was nice to see Rey again, though! What a showing he had.

I still can't get over how fake Cena and Reigns make this look. Cena's punches and Reigns' clotheslines in the corner are a disgrace.

Ah cheers, I missed that Elias/Hardy qualifier match.

Nikki Bella, Nia Jax and Sasha Banks have all criticised the appearance of Rousey just after the first all female rumble.
I can't imagine they're happy she's coming in and being fast tracked to the top, but she's a massive star, she was never going to "do her time" in NxT

Hardy will cost him his match, can’t see Balor getting a 2nd chance which is a shame

Got round to watching the rumble. Some fun spots. Cool to see the old divas. Trish and Beth looked like they'd be able to hang with any of the best women who are full time. Lita looked surprisingly shit.

Maria Menounos was god awful, Stephanie should never be allowed on commentary and at least 30 minutes of the show was people pointing at a sign.

I'm going to call it now, Ronda is going to be awful. I'm talking the funkadactyl not called Naomi awful.

Stephanie was awful on commentary. Commentary has been so awful for so long though that I tune it out. Though whoever delivered the "Happy Rusev Day" line on comms on Raw yesterday deserves 2 thumbs up.

There were some pretty decent matches last night Miz vs Roman, Asuka vs Sasha and although it had weird moments in it that Cena vs Balor match was intresting and even tho he won, think Cena did a really good job putting Balor over. Say what we want about Cena being limited but he knows how to adjust to the crowd and put him in with guys like Owens, Styles and Balor and the man can go. Although that strength thing totally made the match weird but I guess it was for a little convo to change the match.

The crowd also showed that Balor was over if Vince had any doubts..

That Sasha vs Asuka fight tho, at first I thought her dive was a botch but I think she meant that now. Honestly she takes some really nasty bumps and thankfully never gets injured. I kinda hate her but I think she has a bit of the Roman Reigns about her. Clearly talented and one of the best but Just looks like a funt

It's a work/self-promotion.

I'd imagine they've been told to promote her in their tweets and media work but gushing with praise would sound phoney and not very wrestler-y.

So Balor looks strong in the rumble then loses to Cena and not in the elimination chamber... Not sure what they're doing with him...

The way hes been used since his return has been so odd. He gets nothing, then gets on fire and has that AJ match which kills. And then they follow that up by letting Kane squash him. Then he gets momentum back with Balor club, has a strong Rumble showing (second man out to final four). Then loses (ok its to Cena, but still).

I totally disagree... when he's in there with someone he wants to be in there with (Styles/Joe for example) he's super motivated and puts on a great show.

Think his best matches since returning have been with relatively smaller guys to him. Hes had shit matches with Big Show, etc and ones that dont last a minute (like Kofi). But his best matches were the first one with Cena, Punk, Joe and AJ and that triple threat with Rollins and Cena. (also really liked his match with Reigns at Wm when Rollins cashed in).
Absolutely shite match with Ambrose given the build.

They are turning him into a cartoon character. At first it was original but getting a bit silly now.

Nothing hes doing now is crazier than what he was doing about six months ago.

Work, work, work, work...

I find her incredibly overrated but Asuka is probably the most attractive person on the roster. The fact that unlike 90% of the woman in the company she's not super skinny/muscly with abs showing is a bonus. Great body and a cute face.

I'm going to call it now, Ronda is going to be awful. I'm talking the funkadactyl not called Naomi awful.
You leave Cameron alone.

It happened,Twisted Bliss off of Braun. Kinda hope he still gorilla presses her on to someone.

That end section, anyone ever seen that hamster trying to eat a banana meme?

Smackdown is garbage now.
Cena becoming more of a Raw guy, trying to rely on Jinder for so long... AJ and Shinsuke are the stand-out stars by a considerable distance. Randy Orton is probably closest to them, and even he's miles off. Orton isn't anywhere near what he was a few years back, despite the Royal Rumble win last year. Then you have Corbin, Roode, Ziggler, and Owens who are all at a similar level IMO and probably not good enough to be Champion any time soon. Rusev is the only other guy who is over, but they can't do much more than mid-card with him either at the moment due to Styles/Nakamura being the title picture until probably whichever SmackDown PPV is after Wrestlemania.

Other than a decent tag team division and the big two, the SmackDown roster is basically a myriad of mid-card talent and none of them can see a major push until nearer SummerSlam. They've got themselves into a poor position without signing new talent / swapping a few guys over. Even their Women's division is less convincing with 'Absolution lite', no opportunity for Becky/Naomi to challenge, and Carmella having the briefcase meaning no one can convincingly challenge Charlotte. Rousey is a big risk that might not even pay off despite some draw power.

I really think that after WrestleMania, Raw should switch back to two hours and draft one or two higher card wrestlers to SmackDown. Three hours is too long and ratings always drop off in the third hour anyway. They'd be much better suited doing some dark matches and discussions for a third hour that show on the Network only for both Raw and SmackDown, that the paying crowd in attendance get to see whilst there.

Strowman is the most improved in the company in a long time. Actually, I struggle to remember many talents improving this amount in such a short time frame. When he debuted as a Wyatt member many people saw him as a bit of a lumbering oaf and had zero desire to see him in top matches, some even feeling he was another Vince big guy project. Fast forward and now most want this guy in the top matches and winning the title. Just an incredible turn around, the dude is legit.

This.

I think a lot of the people who dislikes him, do so because he's very much a Vince guy.

I just saw the Take Over show. It was just FANTASTIC. Cole Vs Black was awesome and when I thought you can't top that Almas and Gargano blew off the place. Garganos's selling and storytelling was incredible. The guy can be the next Daniel Bryan. Just imagine him winning the title in a big show, the arena will explode.

The other thing is that Mauro Ranallo is phenomenal. His ability to sell the matches reminds me of prime JR. Absolutely one of the main reasons that I love watching NXT.

Gargano is a can't miss babyface... he's a 100% sure thing.

So I'm sure the WWE will feck it up.

I swear I don't remember Gargano being this good in the indies. I mean, I only really saw him in CHIKARA, but while I thought he was good, I never expected him to be as good as he's been in NXT. It's nice though, I like it.
