This is the turning point...

It needs to be. There isn’t much wrong with us apart from throwing goals in at the back. Our play up until the final ball isn’t that bad and it improves with Antony back in the side. We just can’t keep working space for Dalot of all people to be providing the cross into the box. It’s constant low balls to the near post
Just get a bit of confidence going.

I think it can be. Players obviously haven't downed tools. Fans were behind them.

Exciting final minutes but the performances aren't there. Hopefully this helps on the teams morale but we're still playing like a pub team.

Probably isn't but at least there's an international break coming up now so few players should be back and perhaps this kind of comeback can really be helpful.

We’ve been our own worst enemy - the goals we have conceded have been down to individual mistakes rather than brilliance from the opposition. We’ve been in control in the games we’ve lost and then self-imploded.

Cut out the mistakes, and with players returning from injury then I really do think we can crack on from here.

Players like Rashford, Casemiro and Bruno need a spell on the sidelines though.

It will only be the turning point if there are changes.

Part of that might just be the a LB and someone like Antony returning to the team to hopefully create more balance. But big calls need to be made on the likes of Casemiro and Rashford too.

I can feel it in my bones

Up until now the performances have been there but the results haven’t.

Our season starts now.

Very strongly disagree that the performances have been there. Can't even begin to agree.

Our next two league games are:

Sheffield United away - they have only got one draw all season. No wins. We should easily be beating them anyway and beating them well.

Man City at home.

We'll see how these two games go.

Replace Onana with Sancho in goal, and we're good to go.

As much a turning point as Mourinho's 3-2 win vs Newcastle.
The difference here is I'd rather we stick with what ETH is trying than what Mourinho stands for, which is dinosaur shit football.

We’ll be ok when we get some of our injuries back. Until then it’s s matter of doing what we did today- fight to fecking survive.

It really isn't.

It'll be his Mourinho Newcastle moment. He's still a dead man walking.

Felt more like a slighted team that shown the manager he's done dirty on a few players and got it badly wrong.

Can the manager see the issues or just carry on stubbornly.

I was at the Newcastle 3-2 under Mourinho and it feels an awful lot like that, but who cares.

This is the kind of thing you can just love as a football fan, even if your team is shit and it doesn't signify any greater turnaround.

We were pretty awful again today. There's no turning point here. City coming up in a few weeks. Might be a turning point if we get a result against them.

The difference here is I'd rather we stick with what ETH is trying than what Mourinho stands for, which is dinosaur shit football.
And what is that? Let's not delude ourselves. We still play shit dinosaur football, in fact, that's what gave us the win today.

Weirdly we would probably have lost had he not saved us today after his earlier mistake admittedly
Are you referring to those two saves in the centre of his goal that he tipped over for a corner? From where I was sat in the ground I thought he could've caught them both had he jumped earlier.

 This is a classic example of a thread made off the back of a mental couple of minutes by players who, normally, would come out sucking their own thumbs after falling into a well of tits. Any seasoned united supporter will tell you the same thing..you are going to regret this thread.

This thread can only end one way...

Just wanted to post on that game. October 6th 2018 and last game before international break, same as today. I'm convinced Mourinho was about to be sacked if we lost that game but he survived, only to get sacked 2 and a half months later anyway. Also Martial scored 2nd goal with Pogba assisting him, 2 unwanted players by manager just like Maguire assisted McTominay for his second today.

We can hope this is turning point and even if it isn't we can still enjoy it because this kind of comebacks are incredible.

With no first choice defenders (who can pass) and with the likes of Casemiro, Bruno, Rashfrod etc, we can't play any other way. But I believe he'll do it, if we give him time.

If you don't get the feeling from that comeback, to get behind the club and build on that feeling to come back and improve your position to get out of a rut, then just get out. Whether a fan or a player, if that can't inspire you then United isn't for you.

I thought that the Burnley game was going to be a bit of a turning point. Now I look at the Spurs and Arsenal games as huge moments that we have allowed to define our season to date. If only Bruno had buried that free header, if only we were awarded a penalty for Romero's handball, if only Garnacho's goal was allowed to stand, if only Højlund was awarded a penalty for Gabriel hauling him down. Huge momentum shifts that could have inspired us to be having a very different season to what we have experienced thus far. Obviously the injuries have been utterly ridiculous too.

I think ETH would need to show he can provide the type of football he says he can.
The team is still playing the passive reactive dross we have done since the days of Van Gaal.
There have been glimpses under Ten Hag but it's been constantly poor from United since the Barcelona game in the Europa League in February.
I wouldn't mind losing games if it looked like the side was moving towards something exicting. Short term pain for long term gain but it just looks like more of the same as under the last number of managers.

One thing I didn't think after watching this game was "We'll kick on and put a run together now". It was more smash-and-grab.

The first half was utter garbage. They did pick up a bit in the second half but it was more grit and determination that got us the win than the quality of football.

Yes, the manner of that win should galvanize them, but the despondent body language of Marcus Rashford is absolutely disgraceful. He should join his mate Sancho playing computer games.
