Are you for real, or just trying to rile the muppets? He and his father have both talked publicly about him wanting more playing time. That is why he is leaving, and that is what he's looking for. You'd think we hadn't got any of our targets ever. Last season we got the one we'd been eyeing for a while, Kagawa, and the highest-profile one, RVP. City and RVP have both talked openly about the fact that they tried to get him, offered him feckloads of money, and he chose us. So where does this unhinged negativity come from?

I can understand Liverpool fans being slowly driven mad by the disparity between their beliefs about their club and its reality, but how has constant success somehow led to a load of raving loony United fans who refuse to think anything good about our club or its future under any circumstances? I'm not even saying we're getting him, we may well not. But why do you feel the need to come onto an internet forum and shout repeatedly that we have no chance of getting him?

It would be a good signing at the price being quoted. Surely we would pay as much or more than Bayern and he would be pretty much guaranteed a starting place barring a massive dip in form or injury. Not getting too excited yet but perhaps a bit more substantial a rumor than most.

Can you imagine at the end of the transfer window....we don't sign this gem, but instead sign someone like Leighton fecking Baines?

What conflict of interest does he have with City? Is it that they have a lot of staff that used to work for Barcelona?

Have to say that I am getting slightly excited about the rumors!

Nonsense. He's been a muppet dream for 2 or 3 years, you just don't think you'll be able to prize one of Barca's best young players off them.
 
Yeah, it's always been a "yeah, right" signing. That we seem to have a genuine chance is exciting to say the least. My heart will no doubt end up broken.
 
One of Sport's editors has just been on Spanish telly - he said that if Thiago leaves, he thinks it will be to United.

So that's a definite maybe there :devil:

Quite. I doubt anyone in here, muppet or naysayer, hasn't known who he is for a few years already. He's been Barca's key wonderkid for quite some time.

Barcelona won't want him poaching all their players.
