He's turning into just a name for me now. I'm losing the relation to what a great player he is, I need to get a few more YouTube clips down my gullet.

I feel Thiago might be joining the Nearly United team, hopefully he joins the real one but it's not a bad attack for the nearly men:

--- Thiago -- Sneijder ---

Sanchez -- Silva -- Nasri

-------- Benzema --------

I have a terrible feeling he'll end up with Bayern.

I think PSG got Lucas because they bid so fricking much for him. In this case there is a release clause. So they could only really do us on wages. Which, I don't think is such a danger. We will offer him fantastic wages for sure. Much like RVP last summer.
nope, we bid the same amount. I think we already had a deal in place and all that was left was for Lucas to put pen to paper, but PSG came in with a late swoop and offered him significantly higher wages than we could so he chose PSG.

Read back through the last few pages of this thread. You'd think he'd been dropping hints and comments like Hazard, the way people seem to be expecting some kind of instant statement. All he's said is that he wouldn't talk/think about his future until after the Euros. He'll probably go home or on holiday now, talk to the relevant people, have a think, and in a couple of weeks something might happen.

He's not a media whore like Hazard, so I'm not sure why people are acting as if he is.

His silence speaks a thousand words :D

REALITY IS THE ENEMY OF DREAMS

Plus people just be chillin' in here, it's the perfect summer hangout spot (far better than going outside or talking to people about unThiago-related shit).

True say, I was trying to keep it within the past 2-3 summers. I still remember when Lillian Thuram and Kevin Hofland were nailed down to join United so if we want to go further back in time we can start building a defence.

Stekelenburg; Maicon, Martinez, Rodwell, Baines; Thiago, Mikel; Sanchez, Ozil, Silva; Benzema

He won't say anything. We put gagging orders on our future signings.

Buttner did release a picture of him in a United shirt before we'd announced the deal. Maybe it's a change in policy and we'll see Thiago in a United shirt in the next few days

Are Spain on to get all three boots then? Is Isco the bronze?

Also isn't there some kind of player of the tournament award? Presumably that would be Isco.

What if he comes out and says

"I am joining Manchester United. I hate City those plastic cnuts and Liverpool because they steal hubcaps."

Before ending the conference by belting out "Glory glory Man Utd"

Then will you believe he's coming?

Then we'll see him dodge the question. Come on, you know how this is done.

Is it wrong that I have butterflies? I think this might be THE moment we get some more ambiguous non information that can be interpreted in many different ways.

You'll still have the naysayers in here reigning in the optimism. God forbid anyone be optimistic.

If he does that I'll get the sack.

F@pping furiously in the office is frowned upon, even if the boss is a big United fan.

Any news from the interviews or are they just happy to have won and Thiago's Hat-Trick doesn't matter it's just the team performance?
