all speculation based on assumption, it wont happen
Aren't you assuming it won't happen?

where did i say he would stay at Barca, please show me my quote. You just dreamt that up, assumption and speculation at work. You just provided a great example.
My point here is that a massive amount of peoples hopes are based on assumption and stuff they are reading in to things that are said which in turn just feeds the whole cycle. Kind of like Chinese whispers. Your comment was a perfect example of that, now just apply that to all the reports, so called quotes and theories and you see a whole lot of noise based on sweet feck all factual evidence, just circumstantial.Yes, you're right - my mistake. But feel free to rephrase my question and then answer it.
His full name--Thiago Alcantara do Nascimento-- resembles Pele's full name--Edson Arantes do Nascimento. Is there any connection between the two?
EXACTLY !!!!! ha!Aren't you assuming it won't happen?
hang on, he stated that I stated he was staying at Barca. here is his quote "Ok then...What - and where - is your justification for stating that Thiago will stay at Barca?"
Show me my quote where I stated he was staying at Barca. Im not huffy and defensive, that again is you dreaming something up in your own head. Another perfect example of assumption based on nothing which is what the vast majority of this thread is.

Anything new since this morning? I'm not reading 25+ pages of muppetry.
Even as a joke, thats the RAWKest thing ever written on here!

Where does he fit in? Thiago's dad has never been shy in saying Thiago will move away to play first team football.

They are both Brazilian. His full name--Thiago Alcantara do Nascimento-- resembles Pele's full name--Edson Arantes do Nascimento. Is there any connection between the two?
Why all the negativity?
His father is his agent, and it's his job to create a market for his client.

A good enough connection there.Yes. Yes there is, and Pele is connected to Cantona via the NY Cosmos, who still loves Man Utd. It's every flavour of on.
I don't think he needs to create anything though. I think the ball is in Thiago's court, if he wants to leave he can.
Dad is his adviser, actual agent is Pep's brother apparently.
How many days until someone on twitter spots Thiago at Manchester Airport?
Logically, i think he should leave Barca. With Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas, and now Neymar in the lot with the likes of Pedro / Tello shifting about the wings. United need a central midfielder, who can also play attacking, and most likely he'll get a lot of game time. With Rooney being a tit and most likely leaving this summer or next season, having a player of his calibre and potential - at 18million euros THIS SUMMER thanks to Barcelonas blunder - would be a steal.
The downside is, he most likely will pull a Fabregas somewhere down the line and want to head back to Barca in the future.

Read your post again mate.
And you did effectively claim he was staying at Barca. Steve said something to the effect of 'They've made it clear they're not going to try too hard to keep him. It's on.' And you answered:
How, in that context, does 'it won't happen' mean anything other than that Thiago's staying at Barca? Is there some secret third option? Were we supposed to gather from the words 'it won't happen' that you were arguing that he'll go to Bayern?
I take no joy in this. The Neviller's made jackasses of us all, he was the wise prophet leading us away from Kermit and his sinful ways.. too good to be true .

barcastuff @barcastuff 22m Thiago's entourage denies personal terms have been agreed with Man United. Still considering future, although almost made his mind up [rac1]
I have an opposing view, I dont think he is coming here. (wish he was, hope like feck Im completely wrong) So should I just stay out of the thread? So what do you have to offer stack? Cause I gotta say, I don't think you're getting in the spirt of things......
Bound to be about Thiago.
