To be fair, I don't think we write that to be funny. I just think its the Caf's lingo for "I'm getting excited".
Reckon we should trademark it before Bale comes about.
Just as well, it isn't funny. It's fecking stupid, and tedious. I reckon it's been posted or referenced at least 500 times in this thread.

so....the osman jokes have slowly (but thankfully) died out, whattaya say we put an end to the release clause ones too

I don't see it stopping. There are some out there who genuinely don't understand the release clause, or do not know that Thiago has one. It'll be funny for me until every Tom, Dick an Harry know about it.

No one actually believes we'll sign Osman so yeah that was funny initially but not anymore.

To be fair, the release clause jokes started only because there was someone in every page of this thread who didn't understand the meaning of a release clause and was skeptical that Barca won't sell him or that his price had increased because of the hat trick in the final of Euro U21.

Cocks out is a brilliant Caf phrase. It's come to hte point where its not intended to be funny per se, but its just the perfect way to describe how us Cafcards feel with the ensuing muppetry.

Ok, The Neviller. We get it. You dont like "Cocks out". Stop trying to ruin it for those who still enjoy it.

Exactly. Not as if we actually bring out our cocks

RIGHT GUYS? :nervous:

Funny thing is the Neviller is refreshing this thread more than all of us put together. #getyournevillesout

I have never felt like getting my cock out whilst reading a transfer thread!

Nonetheless, I am convinced that The Neviller is Lou Macari in disguise. Long live Ryan Tunnicliffe!!

Weren't there reports of him agreeing a 5 year deal with us yesterday?
Its 4 years today..
At this rate his contract will expire before we can register him.

I always had him down as more of a Mickey Thomas. If he ever asks you to change a £20 note for him say no.

There's nothing to prevent him being every bit as good as Scholes and having a similar role in the team.

in theory. In practise, Ferguson found some sort of weirdass magical formula of winning titles with a threadbare midfield that didn't seem strong enough to win its battles and make it work anyway - Not convinced Moyes can do the same or be satisfied with the consequences of that either.

Do you think that he wont fit in, or do you hope that he wont fit in?

obviously I hope he won't fit in at all. I think he will fit in well enough to solve a lot of problems in your midfield, just not all the problems you would want solved in a 4 man midfield.

This looks good. I may get one.

.

In recent years when Scholes was past his best, maybe. Scholes in his prime used to boss that area on his own, let alone with Keane beside him.

So come on lads, which number do you guys reckon he'll get? I'm going for #20, with RVP taking up the #9.

#8 would have been my prediction a few weeks ago, but I suddenly think Anderson will stay.

T H I A G O
20

Cock out Nev! You know it makes sense.

Scholes and Keane. Threadbare.

But don't worry, we've become familiar with the 'Fergie is a deity, all his players are shit' routine. RAWK love it, especially now the big man has gone and it's easier to say good things about him without becoming a 'manc'.

When Thiago comes here, he can be the next 'they only have one good player.' We were incredibly reliant on Ronaldo, then he left and we kept winning things, but we were incredibly reliant on Rooney, then he 'became shit' () but we kept winning things, but we were incredibly reliant on RVP. No doubt next season he'll be shit too, but we'll survive thanks to our incredible reliance on Thiago.

Except that of course he won't fit in because we play like Stoke only more boring.
