The year we signed Hernandez and Smalling, both before the window opened. The only one in recent memory that was late in the window was RvP, but that's cause we didn't actually go in for him until around two weeks before signing him.

Hazard and Moura both signed for their respective clubs very early on too. I think the Caf just prolongs transfers really, you log in here expecting updates every day and it makes you impatient. The fact is though, as soon as you get embroiled in a bidding war with another club, the transfer will take longer to go through (assuming it does), that's not just us, that's pretty much every club.
